Prescott Valley Splash Pad Opens Early Due to Warm Weather

The town of Prescott Valley is giving families a chance to cool off this week as unseasonably warm temperatures arrive. The splash pad at Antelope Park will be temporarily open Monday, March 16, through Sunday, March 22, operating daily from noon to 5pm. Town officials said the early opening coincides with warmer weather and local spring break schedules, offering residents and visitors a fun outdoor option while school is out. The temporary opening applies only to the Antelope Park splash pad and will end after March 22. The splash pad will then close again until the start of the regular splash pad season. The official splash pad season begins May 11, when both Antelope Park and the Bob Edwards Park splash pad will open for the summer. Officials note that the Bob Edwards Park splash pad will not be part of the temporary opening and will remain closed until the regular season begins in May. The town encourages families to take advantage of the early opportunity to enjoy the outdoors and cool off during the warm spring weather.
