
Prescott to Recieve $15 Million for Rodeo Grounds Improvements

With the recent approval of the state budget, the City of Prescott is set to receive .3 million for infrastructure improvements at the Prescott Rodeo Grounds. The funds, which were originally allocated to Prescott Frontier Days in 2023, were in limbo after a Maricopa County judge ruled the allocation violated the state’s gift clause. Contrary to some reports, the City was not involved in that litigation. State Senator Mark Finchem and State Representatives Quang Nguyen and Selina Bliss were able to secure these funds for the City to implement necessary improvements at the rodeo grounds as part of this year’s...
