Several Canadian premiers are united against Prime Minister Mark Carney’s bid to limit provinces' right to use the notwithstanding clause. The Liberals and Bloc Québécois have stopped a Conservative motion which would have removed birthright citizenship from a Liberal bill which would grant citizenship to over an estimated 100,000 people.
