Pray for Our New Converts | Great Rosary Campaign

0:00Welcome to Eternal Christenham, consecrated to our Lady for the glory of our Lord. I'm Joshua Charles. Happy Easter, happy Passover, we're finally here. This long, arduous, hopefully sanctifying Lent is over, and now we celebrate the resurrection of our Savior. So for this week's Great Roja campaign, it seemed pretty obvious. Let's pray for all the new converts. We've been overjoyed to see that Catholic churches all across the world, not just in America, but all over the world have seen record rises in conversions. Record numbers of people coming in this Easter vigil. Amazing, amazing thing. God is on the move. Many Protestants are coming home. Many non-Catholics of all sorts of varieties, whether Muslims are atheists or secularists or Buddhists or whatever, they're finding their home in the church. Obviously, we have a lot more work to do. Eternal Christenham's mission is to cultivate saints, sages and statesmen through the Great Tradition of Christenham.

1:00And the goal is to help people become, remain, and deepen their lives as Catholics, hidden with Christ in God. That's quoting Colossians 3-3. So now we have an even bigger task ahead of us in many ways. That's how people remain and deepen their lives as Catholics, hidden with Christ in God. That's what Eternal Christenham is all about, putting forward the treasures of the Great Tradition so that I often compare being a Protestant and a Catholic to having a field and he got a metal detector. As a Protestant, I was kind of looking all over the field, didn't know where the heck to go, or if I was getting closer or not, I would occasionally find a reading there or reading there, but I just didn't know where the treasure was. As a Catholic, I found it, it is right there. We sell everything to get it and we just dig as deep as we possibly can. So let's pray for our converts, let's pray for the rosary for our converts, and since we are no longer in a penitential season, but in a celebratory season, a festive season from the resurrection to Pentecost, the penance this week will not be fasting.

2:04It will be a holy hour before the Holy Eucharist. Let's pray for the strengthening of our converts. Many of them face backlash from friends and family. Becoming Catholic is not always a popular decision. We have a number of patrons of eternal christenum who talk to me, email me, we hop in the phone, we text, and they tell me all sorts of story about, all sorts of stories, excuse me, about pretty intense backlash from people who are not at all pleased. They become Catholic. Unfortunately, many times they continue to be under the influence of a lot of myths and propaganda about the church, sometimes just simple misunderstandings. So let's pray for them. Let's pray for the whole web of relationships around our converts as well. And when I say hour, I mean, of course, the churches, which is Christ's body, so Christ. So we'll pray the rosary for them, and we will do a holy hour before the blessed sacrament, the Holy Eucharist, who is Christ Himself. And without, we'll close with our normal anthem verse Psalm 73 verses 25 through 26,

3:06who have I in heaven but you and on earth I desire nothing besides you. My flesh and my heart may fail, but the Lord is the strength of my heart and my portion forever.
