0:00Construction on the state's biggest cultural institution since the opera house is now complete. Paramount of powerhouse, or the powerhouse of Paramount, is predicted to become a tourist destination for Western Sydney, but when it will open, that remains under wraps. Shining on the Paramount River, the New Jewel in Sydney's cultural crown, is complete. It's a build on the scale of the Sydney Opera House. After four years, the final pieces of the powerhouse museum now in place. The exhibition pieces soon to follow, crafted draw cards for the geographical centre of the city. We're currently working hard to create five major exhibitions that will open the museum, and they're all under development at the moment. The $915 million project taking 12,000 tons of steel and 13,000 square metres of glass. It's exoskeleton design, allowing the inside to have no columns.

1:04To be a great destination, you need great experiences. And the powerhouse is going to be one of those experiences that people will flock to. The culmination of 2.7 million hours of work, it's hoped this will prove a tourism powerhouse with projections of more than 2 million people walking through the door every year. The premiere is hinted it could be open as soon as September, but as to exactly when. We'll be specific about an opening day when we've got one. That secret, not being unearthed, just yet.
