The 6888th Central Postal Directory Battalion with a rally cry of "no mail, low morale" revitalized the military postal system during WW2. Under the command of Major Charity Adams 855 black women went to Europe, cleaned, sorted, organized, and decluttered US military mail warehouses. These amazing women delivered 3 years backlogged mail with care and precision no expected and in the half the expected time.
