Minnesota couple Heidi and Nick Firkus frantically called 9-1-1 to report a break-in at their home. A gunshot was heard over the phone and Heidi was killed. Nick claimed the intruder shot Heidi, but prosecutors believed he staged his wife’s murder to cover up their home foreclosure.
