And someone has sat and shared this power with me. I felt that within me. I didn’t know what it was, but I felt it, and they told me what it was. I know that, so that’s the turning point. They’ve already told me half measures are going to avail you nothing. Don’t care what you believe; your experience will change your mind, but you got to stay in the manner of living.”

Joe emphasizes the importance of staying committed to the recovery process, regardless of personal beliefs. “We ask his protection and care with complete abandon. There went my old ideas over here. Yes, hopefully. Here are the steps we took which are suggested as a program of recovery.”
