He pointed out that top teams thrive with players like that, and Kentucky struggled without them all year. Pope also noted how the loss of guard Jalen Low hurt the group. It put extra pressure on Jasper Johnson and backup point guard duties and forced Denzel Aberdeen into an unfamiliar role.
