On March 20th, police and Radford stopped a swerving car early on March 18th and uncovered bags of cocaine along with 1,200 pounds in cash. The two 18-year-old men inside faced a rest for possession with intent to supply class a-drugs. Officers first noticed a vehicle weaving across Dukestreet during a routine patrol. A quick check showed it had no insurance so they hit the blue lights around 12.35am and pulled it over. Out of way, they spotted the cash in the middle console and suspected it came from crime. A closer look revealed a plastic bag stuffed with deal bags of cocaine hidden nearby. Sergeant Rashee Thobani, from Nottinghamshire Police, praised the officers for their sharp instincts. He said their awareness turned a simple driving stop into a major drug seizure and double arrest. These quick actions highlight how everyday patrols keep drugs off the streets in the area.
