0:00On April 29th, firefighters are now in their fourth day battling wildfires, ripping through the stunning Ellen Valley in mid-wales. Crews from mid and west-wales fire and rescue have been on the scene since Sunday, hitting hot spots around Clairwen Reservoir and Tafy Pools, a helicopter's dropping water on the riskiest spots to contain the blaze. National Trust's Seymour who shut down the nearby half of the state to keep folks safe, and they're telling everyone to stay away from the area. British Shepherd Glinder Jones, who's worked these lands for 26 years, called it straight up frightening. He's worried about his livestock and farms spanning 10,000 to 12,000 acres, with no clue on the money hit till the smoke clears. Residents got the word to seal windows and doors against thick smoke.
