Police Investigate Al Fayed's Alleged Crimes

0:00On March 6th, Specialist Detectives from the Metropolitan Police are pushing forward with a major investigation into people who may have helped. Muhammad al-Fa'id commit his alleged crimes. Three women, one in her 40s, one in her 50s and one in her 60s, have now been interviewed under caution as part of this ongoing probe. The interviews happen between Wednesday, February 25th and Thursday, March 5th. Officials question them on suspicions of aiding rape and sexual assault, helping with sexual offenses, and human trafficking for sexual exploitation. No arrests have happened yet, but the case stays very active. More than 154 victims have stepped forward with reports of sexual assault, rape, exploitation, and trafficking. Over the past 18 months, officers have gathered detailed statements from these victims and witnesses to map out the full scope of the, I, wrongdoing. Thanks to those accounts and team work with police across the United Kingdom and abroad, the inquiry has expanded to tackle every reported offense, including trafficking.
