00Hey, it's Cole Swindell, and when I spend 200 days a year rolling down the highway, the bus can start to feel smaller than a guitar case. Everyone wonders how I stay chill while the hours crawl by. Truth is, one good luck spent on Chamba, and suddenly the trip does a whole lot shorter. Found in your space, even when there isn't much to spare. Need some chill? Let's Chamba! No purchase necessary, VGW Group void work prohibited by law, 21 plus TNC supply. Sponsored by Chamba Casino Hey, I'm Josh Speagle, host of the podcast, Lunatic in the newsroom. If you enjoy journalism that drifts into my old panic, wild overthinking, and a guaranteed nervous breakdown, Lunatic in the newsroom is for you. It's news like you've never heard before, the only newsroom with a panic button. You're laugh, you'll cry, and gasp and horror as the show spirals completely out of control. 1:00This is Mike Voilo of Lexicon Valley. And I'm Bob Garfield. Are you one of those people who sometimes uses words? Do you communicate or acquire information with, you know, language? Hey, us too! So, join us on Lexicon Valley to true over the history, culture, and many mysteries of English. Plus, some ice cracks. Find us on one of those apps where people listen to podcasts. I did that 90s thing we said I should do on Friday. Yeah, it's so good. It did so well! Yeah. I can't believe it. I'm so jealous of your social media skills. Who knew? Yeah. All of your, I think what was cool about yours though is that you incorporated some videos as well as still photos. Oh, yeah. Yeah. Because I have them. I have what's the sense of having all those VHS tapes they sit on a shelf. Right. I mean, I literally have my entire career from 14 years old on VHS tapes. So I was like, you know, I found a couple things from the 90s. So I might have put on there because I did not look good.
01Yeah, I did notice that most of your eyes were pretty good. Yeah. Yeah, I didn't put any of the bad ones. Why would I? Oh, yeah. Yeah. You know what happens when other people post pictures of you you don't like. So anyway. Listen. Listen. I try my best. You're a very picky person. I am picky. Oh, I thought you were talking about something else. That picture we were talking about. That's why I put it in the South line. Oh, well, yeah. That one was not great of me and Alison. I so appreciate the photographer that like she must have been angels of hope and was taking pictures for angels of hope. Yeah, she was very nice and she was very excited to take our picture. We just happened to look like we're 4,000 pounds. That's all. Like there's zero separation from my neck to my chin. And Alison just looks. I look like I literally look like a grimace. Stop. You know, grimace shows bro. You stop. I will tell you cameras are so terrible. I mean, honestly, there have been times, even in the last week where I posted a picture of myself on story or something.
09And I was like, this is a pretty good picture of me. And literally someone will tag me in the same moment that that picture was taken from another angle. This is the worst I've ever looked. Yeah. It's like that side belt episode. Like, whoa, bad lighting on the porch. It looks like two different people. Right. Really though. Yeah. But I think you party fly photography. And also plastering this. Also knows a shade on her skills as a photographer. Not at all. I did legitimately gain weight. I had a physical last week. I was told right to my face. I was like, fine. I'll stop eating all together. So that's a thing I do now. It's I. You know what? I'm not even going to go into it again. I've told you that's not the way to do it. But we'll see. We'll see. By the way, really quick. Can I mention this? Yeah. Try and find slim fast in the stores. Can't. Why would you want slim fast? Because you don't want slim fast. That's a meal replacement. Can't tell you what you're going to have. What about that protein boost? I'm tired of you being in my face all the time.
09You might be fine. But what I know about slim fast is an appetite suppressant drink. I don't know what you do protein. So you shouldn't get protein. That's all nonsense. That's appetite suppressant. I'm going to get you a couple shakes. What's your flavor? Well, I like vanilla. Me too. Vanilla is my jam. Do you like strawberry? I don't mind it. I don't mind strawberry. I don't like fruit. I'd rather have strawberry than chocolate. So there's that. Same. Yeah. Are you guys insane? Any day. No. I'll take strawberry milkshake any day over chocolate. Over chocolate. I don't know. I don't think we can be friends anymore. This is just crazy. Just how we're through it, Chelsea. Who is going to choose vanilla? Over chocolate. If his nail is done right. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. Oh my god. I'm talking about protein shakes. Oh my god. Oh my god. I'm talking about protein shakes. Hmm. All right. Well, you need protein, Alice. And that's how you're going to lose a lot of weight. Well, I'm just bothered by the fact that slim fast has just disappeared from the shelves. And they think someone's not going to notice. And maybe it took me 10 years to notice, but I did.
11But now that we're here, I've noticed. And everywhere I turn, it's like, is that what it's called protein boost? And I'm like, did they buy slim fast? I. It's protein something. I'm near protein. I'm near protein. And you're probably fine, but I don't know you yet. Um, on a more positive note about me. Oh, good. Back to you. It had been too long. On a more. On a more of the things coming up, Jay, note, my throwback to the 90s video, which got 76,000 engagements on Instagram is wonderful. Oh my god. But what's more exciting is it has me up to almost 9,000 followers on TikTok. Wait. Oh my god. The TikTok on TikTok. The TikTok. I. I forgot to help 15,000 views on the TikTok and 747 likes. Okay. So I know that I've kind of fallen off the TikTok posting. Yeah. But I thought that that was going to kind of be my thing. And I only have 336 like followers.
14So if you guys could try to get me up to 10,000. Share Jay's video, right? Then I can start making some money. How many? How many followers do you have? You have to have 10,000. If you have 10,000 followers, you make money on TikTok. You can start monetizing. Really? Yeah. Oh, we need to. I know just another way. I can't even. I don't even remember how to log into my TikTok. So I got to figure out that problem. For just three follows a day, you can help this morning show. Oh my god. That could be our other angle. That's it. We're going to need Sarah McLaughlin singing in the background. Yeah. Can I just tell you, speaking of that, I love that trend. I only saw a couple and they were both famous. Joe Montana popped up with his dad. What were you like in the 90s and then some actress. But I am just curious as to whoever started the trend. Why they picked that song? I know. There's a better song. My daughter's like, this is so cool. But why did you use that song? I'm like, because everybody's using it. That's the song. I don't even know that song. I'm like, well, here I have to send her 8 links. I'm like, here you go. That's the one with the trend.
14Here's everybody. Here's Drew Barrymore. She used it. Should I do mine? Can we sell it? Can we sell it? A bunch of baby photos. Yeah, that'll be funny. That'll be funny. And painful. I'm so cute as a kid. Alison Martinick is on TikTok. Why don't you follow her? Let's see the power of this show. You have 1,388 followers on the TikTok. That is so depressing me. You don't even use it. Alison Martinick, A-L-L-Y-S-O-N Martinick. Let's see. And then let's look at Chelsea Caval now. It's so sad. Are we doing a break to get you more followers? Yes. I just don't know why people don't like me. Chelsea Caval, C-H-E-L-S-E-A-K-I-V-E-E-L-L at Chelsea Kibble. She has 336 followers and does wonderful content. It's so sad. Let's get you up from 336. Detroit, we can't have that. We can't have it Detroit. Right now, you have the power. Go into your TikTok and hit follow.
14That works. It's a follow and a couple of lines. And by the way, while we're at it, why don't you head on over to my Instagram as well and do the same thing? Very good. Thank you. Tyler Reddick here from 2311 Racing. Victory Lane? Yeah. It's even better with Chamba by my side. Race to ChambaCasino.com. Let's Chamba. No purchase necessary. VTW Group. Boy, we're prohibited by law. CTNC's. 21 Plus. Sponsored by ChambaCasino. The sun shining. Birds are singing and all feels right in the world. Until the season changes.
