Phuket Gracie Barra BJJ Owner || Nando Borralho

Nando Borralho Joins us for our first Fruiting Body Podcast. We chat to Nando about Jiu Jitsu, his charity work on the island, and his amazing life behind Gracie Barra in Phuket, Thailand.

Nando Borralho (@nandoborralho) is the head coach and owner of the Gracie Barra located nearby Surin Beach in Phuket, Thailand. Nando’s BJJ dojo is located at Sutai Muay Thai, which is family-run and operated by Nando and his wife Amy (@sutaimuaythai).

During our conversation, we discussed Nando’s journey from Brazil to the UK and finally Phuket, Thailand, and how he initially got started with Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu (BJJ). More importantly, Nando spoke about the charity he is doing to feed the families in Phuket and the nearby remote islands. 5 Star Marine has spearheaded this charity and has gone above and beyond anyone’s expectations by supplying food for the hungry.
