More specifically, Black literature. I'm Jack Wiespiece Thomas, and on this season of the Black Lits Podcast, we're outside asking why? They don't want a whole bunch of little elevators, Malcolm X's and Martin with the King from the lab. And when you look at a lot of different cultures, feel like we need to know where you came from.

And considering this is Black Reading Month, the only real question is, what are you reading next? Listen to Black Lits from the Black Effect Podcast Network on our I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hi, I'm Michael and Perry Oli. I want to tell you about my new podcast Underground Zero. We're looking at the opportunity of a lifetime for us and the other families. It's about the aftermath of the 9-11 attacks. What's in the tunnels? Go barge over English. It'll be worth half a billion. Starring Steve Sharipa, Ray Abruzzo, and me, Michael and Perry Oli. How far you prepared to go? Depends how far you are. Listen to Underground Zero on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. What up, this Jay Valentine co-host of the R&B Money Podcasts alongside my brother, R&B Legend, Tank. Together we've built a space for artists, executives, and fans of R&B music to reminisce and tell the real stories behind the music. I have no money, I was hood famous. They think you're gonna get everybody out. We lived in a project, and real love came out.

They hear them music, and we had nothing. From Smokey Robinson to Mary J. Blige, V2K to Jill Scott. If you're a super dedicated R&B fan, this is where you belong. Listen to R&B Money from the Black Effect Podcast Network on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Hey, it's Alec Baldwin. This season on my podcast, here's the thing I talk to actor, Stephen Root. I'm a people-water. You see that guy going down the drain, though? Yeah, I can use that. And open igloo co-founder, Alia Muhammad. I love staying on top of what is going on in our city, what is on renter's minds. And taking all of that knowledge to build a platform that hopefully is going to make New York City better in the long run. Listen to Here's the thing on the I Heart Radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. This is the Ben and Ashley I, almost famous podcast with I Heart Radio. Hey, everyone. Welcome back to another episode of the almost famous podcast. We are together after a holiday weekend. Ben, how was your weekend? What'd you do?

My family was out here, actually. And we went to the park. We played in the yard. Yeah, the sounds like my kind of weekend. This is a weekend. That was it. We did go to Nashville for a few days to see Jess's family and spend time with them, which was fantastic. Can get winning around her cousins. But then we came back here on Saturday and played in the yard for the last three days. It was fantastic. What about you? Ben, wait to your second child comes and you're just like, wait a second. We have no, you have no time to rest. I don't know. You still don't think you have time to rest now. Well, because I work every weekend. So I'm gone on the weekends more than like the weekdays. Sometimes I get a day off, but usually I don't. Well, I feel guilty taking a day off ever. I don't. If I could, if I could get space, I would love to. But yeah, I mean, I would say this year I've worked 75% of the weekends traveled or been gone for them.

So, you know, this wasn't a work. We went and saw family. So it was great. But the idea of having a lazy or nothing Saturday, Sunday would be a unique idea. Okay. This is I should clarify. I definitely have days off. They're called the weekends and they're with the kids. What I feel guilty about is ever taking one of my weekdays that I have our nanny here and do and use it as an off day for myself. Like I can't imagine just being like, okay, well, you're paying someone to be here. So you should just lie in bed and eat junk food and watch TV all day. Like that sounds like my dream off day. But I haven't had that since I guess I was pregnant with Hayden and I didn't really have any option. I just needed it. My body needed it. Yeah. I do take a nap every day. I take a 20 minute nap starting in the high-density. I'm a high-density. 20 minutes. I can't do 20 minutes at all. Yeah. So I close my eyes for 20 minutes and that is a good reprieve.

Yeah. So the weekends are the weekends. If we're not working or going to something, then I don't really know what to do with myself. So it's just the way life is and it's great. But we're right back at it today and we're going to break down all the headlines because nobody is just really taking breaks. So including Bachelor Nation, Ashley, big news coming out of Bachelor Nation to kick this headline off. Bachelor's Peter Weber, expecting twins with girlfriend, Jaden Carr. This is crazy. Are you surprised? Yes. Are you surprised? Yes. Last time we had Peter on the podcast, which I don't even know what it was a year ago. It was me alone. And he had another girlfriend that he was revealing, that he was starting to see. That's right. And he had since broken up with her and then got together with this girlfriend.

But he wasn't even like, ow, we kind of like broke the news when he was on there. We're going to have to see what that date was. I really feel like it was in the past calendar year. But now he has a new girlfriend that he did hard launch September 14th. And of course, they probably knew they were pregnant. She was pregnant on August 14th. So I guess come out with a relationship before coming out on September 3rd that they're pregnant with twins because it's well they don't say twins. It says one plus one equals four heart. So yeah, we have confirmation that it's twins outside of this. I mean, that's pretty obvious. Well, I mean, maybe they're like including a dog. Not from them, but it looks like there's comments and nobody's denying it. Okay. I'm sure Barb will be out there being like, it is twins. And he's like, yeah, it's why. I mean, goodness, new life is always exciting. But having twins with a girlfriend, you know what it's like to have two.

I know it's like to have one on the and one on the way. Kids are the best gift in the world. They are spectacular in every way. They're so fun. But it is, it is not easy if you are not on the same page with your partner. And even my wife and I who I love dearly have had moments, days where we don't feel like we're on the same page where two ships, you know, crossing in the night. Or we're just not aligned on how we want to do things like functionally. And marriage helps us sit down and say, okay, I love you. We're in this for the long haul. How are we going to figure this out? I do think there would be a complexity when it's unexpected. When it's so early when it's so early in a relationship. Yeah. If they were, you know, together, but it had been two, three years, then that's one thing. But yeah, if it's so early on and you're going to throw twins into the mix, like you're basically putting it, you're, you've got to be. You're putting it, you're, you've got to commit me to hang on. You 100%.

You're locked, locked and loaded. But I will say I will always celebrate new life. Always. I just, I see this and I'm more like a, coming from the outsider looking and being like, oh boy. Oh boy. Like I hope this is the best. I don't know the relationship. I hope it is the tightest, most solid boyfriend, girlfriend relationship ever for the two of them and for the kids. Yeah. Same, same, same. Congratulations guys. Like, yes. You know, obviously. Definitely an order. I'm sure they're so hot. I'm sure they're, they are very happy. Was there a moment where they were probably like, oh shit. Probably. I mean, I think if, if I found out Jessica was having twins. If I was, yeah, if I was pregnant with twins, I'd holy shit. Even if it was our first. Yeah, be like, this is insane. How do we navigate it? But we wish them nothing but the best. Yeah.

I hope that you guys are like soulmates and you would have gotten married regardless and all of that. I feel like, I feel like from everybody who knows him closely knows that like he is totally head over heels for her. Good. Great. Yeah. Hey everyone, it's the Jonas Brothers with the Hey Jonas podcast. We've been catching up with some great friends Paul Rod, Michael Bubley, Seth Meyers, Nile Horan, Jake Shane, and making some new friends while getting into what's really like to have sisters, like Alex and Alex and Earl. She likes to control everyone and tell everyone to do that. Okay, well control is a harsh word. I would say that's a harsh word. I am more outspoken. Growing up a lot of the times because she was so quiet. I would speak for like the both of us. Now I'm working on like thinking a mom is really not taking before I speak. And Joey King. You know if your like mom is yelling at your sibling and even if you're annoyed with your sibling, you just like won't let that slide.

It's like you only can yell at your sibling. I'm like, you can't do that here. That is not what I want to talk about her like that. I just want to talk about her like that. Plus we've been taking your calls, listening to your voice mails and giving advice or at least trying to. So if you've got catching up to do now is the perfect time. Listen to Hey Jonas on the iHeartReadyWap Apple Podcast or whatever you get your podcasts. Hi, this is Kylie Breakman, Angel Jaretana. Jeremy Colhane, Patrick McDonald. And we're the hosts of the artists on artists on artists on artists podcast. The improvised character comedy podcast where each week a new panel of artists discuss their craft. Join us for a panel of wellness influencers. What I try to do is foe journal. I don't know, have you guys heard of foe journaling? Yeah, it's reading. It's called reading. So we don't like to use that word anymore. Okay, a panel of New Yorker cartoonists. Have you guys done Terry Gross's Peloton class? No! I've been dying too. I'm so sorry. I'm seeing a reading of Sudako in the Thousand Paper Cranes by Audrement Donalds at the Wonderland Bookstore.

That's crazy. I went to the Wonderland Bookstore yesterday and I heard Nora Jones do a reading of Zero Dark Thirty. No way! Patrick of the last bookstore though. Kim Kattroll is reading the guitar tabs of yesterday. A panel of Eurovision participants. And we do a little Halloween sometimes. Does the Pope dress up? He winks on Halloween. It's right up next to the microphone. I hear you get the elbows here. The eyelashes hate each other. You never seen Italy so quiet as when the Pope gets up to wink on Halloween. Listen to artists on artists on artists on the IHERD radio app, Apple Podcasts, or wherever you get your podcasts. Self-Cast September is here, which means it's time to rethink what self-care actually means. Yes, self-care can be a long walk. It can be an everything shower. It can be putting your phone on Do Not Disturb. But sometimes it's actually about sitting with the uncomfortable stuff. And understanding your patterns, your boundaries. Finally figuring out why you keep doing things that you swore you would never do again.

I'm Gemis Begg, the host of the Psychology of your 20s podcast. And each week we unpack this psychology behind the experiences that shape your 20s. From relationships and friendships to money, anxiety, confidence, attachment. Just becoming more comfortable with who you are. Unlike the quarter-life crisis which is depicted as the collapse, the quarter-life reinvention is the expansion and growth of something. When we develop the ability to be happy by ourselves, nobody else can take that from you. So this self-care September, don't just take care of yourself. Get to know yourself as well. Listen to the psychology of your 20s on the iHot Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. When I was 14 years old, I was kidnapped and health captive for nine months. I survived and I've spent my life exploring how other people survive what should have destroyed them. I'm Elizabeth Smart and these are the survivor files. I just remember this low-taunting voice next to my ear saying, shut up, don't say anything.

Every week I'm with survivors who live through the unthinkable. I knew if he woke up without a doubt he was going to hurt me. I started feeling that there was someone at the end of my bed and I just started screaming. They are abducted, stalked, controlled and nearly silenced. But these aren't stories about what's taken from them. They're stories about what it takes to make it out alive. Listen to the survivor files with Elizabeth Smart on the iHot Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. On the new podcast, Solita, we share the messy reality of traveling alone as a woman. I can wait four hours for the next bus or this random dude is offering me a ride on his motorcycle. I choose option B. I'm Julie Pinierro and I travel by myself because it's a rare space where I can say yes without asking anyone else first. I'm on a mission to reclaim the word Solita, trading the pity for possibility.

Every time I tried to be alone I kept meeting people and they were like, you smiled at us, not a lot of people smile around here. It's when you're alone that you're most receptive to the world as it is and not the lies you're sold about it. It can be a time where you push your limits, change your mind or wake up to a new version of yourself. So whether you're a solo travel veteran or you're too nervous to book your first trip, I hope you listen to Solita on the iHot Radio app, Apple Podcasts or wherever you get your podcasts. Tyler Cameron says joining Dancing with the Stars was the quickest yes ever. It's hard to say no to the days you go to the stars, you know, it's good money, good opportunity, long time franchise, fun and also a little harder in your body. But I am not surprised to hear from Tyler that it is the quickest yes ever because I think it's ever it's a lot of people's quickest yes.

He said that this is even more exciting because his fiancee T is actually a pretty great dancer herself. It was like her dream to be one of the professional dancers. So she's going to have a ball in the ballroom. He says. And this is a great time like person like just like you know looking on the outside in. I feel like for them this is like such a great time for this they're in a great spot in their relationship they've been together for over two years. They just got engaged they're happy but they don't have kids yet. They don't have to be in that wedding planning phase like this is a great couple months to just have fun with this and we all know that he's going to excel because the man already did a dancing show the dirty dancing show where he was basically like kind of Patrick Swaisy's role. And he's going to kill this and he's got he has the whole fan base behind him like he I can already see Tyler on the top three. Do you remember the days where it felt like dance with the stars was going to be gone from television.

I personally not a huge and star fan like a fan of the entity like I'm a fan of big pop culture things that have huge fan bases and a lot of excitement around them like I always like support those types of things. For example like I don't like Marvel but it's when Jared gets excited about a new like Avengers trailer coming out like I understand the excitement. Dance glue starts as similar. I think it's a fun concept I like seeing the celebrities dance sometimes but I'm never going to like sit I personally like if it wasn't work related very rarely am I going to like sit down and watch an episode for myself this season between Tyler and then mostly love you Tyler. But mostly because of Taylor Hansen I can find myself actually following along with the season Taylor Hansen Ben I'm not sure if you probably you probably know Hansen the Hansen brothers base on. Yes based on Oombop but you know that it was it's there've been one of my very favorite bands for ever.

Yes you know that I said that on TV once on my date with Wells and they actually aired that and it was very cool for them to air something like that because typically they wouldn't be like what's your favorite band on the show and I said Hansen and then I got like I love that the fansons out there were like oh my god she's a fan says like of course I'm a fan. So this is this is cool to see Taylor out there it will be annoying for me to have to deal as a hardcore fan with everybody being like oh my god Taylor Hansen he's so cool he's so cute and like I love Oombop it's like yeah have you been with them for the like in their club tours for the past 30 years their theater tours. No I'm a real fan have you Ben I go to like a Hansen concert at least a year whenever the tour I go and yeah and you don't understand like. Like there's a real dedicated following they have never been gone like they have always been able to very comfortably support themselves with their music and they're touring there's they are not like some 90s has been like they have been current putting out albums and albums i'm looking at it now yeah they've been they've done well yeah they have done well and i just feel if this is going to make people discover their library of music from the past two three decades i'm really really for that.

Please guys go out and discover all the Hansen gems that you've been missing out because you just listen to the mainstream. Another Tyler Cameron to host headline Tyler Cameron to host moving on. That's what headlines are you talking about it and you move on Tyler Cameron is to host let's go back to your place for HGTV. I love this for Tyler I love that he is like a staple in HGTV he's good at what he does there. So this new show that Tyler will be hosting is on the back of him doing bachelor mention take over and going home with Tyler Cameron which was an Amazon thing in 2024 this premise is that he will be playing matchmaker for single so that make sense looking for love in potential suitors most personal spaces this is incredible already in one sentence in each episode. Tyler is going to be the guide for one hopeful romantic on three house tours.

Okay so the one person will be taking a look at three houses looking for design clues that reveal more about the people that live there site unseen they will choose their blind date based on nothing other than the story that their home tells. Whoa that's awesome our producer Heather is like this is a modern day room Raiders which is a show back from like MTV. Yeah and like the early 2000s that was a good show this is such a fun concept. When does it air? It looks like it'll premiere next year okay bachelor nation's grocery store Joe reveals five daily struggles he's facing after undergoing brain surgery let me just start this by saying his resilience his determination has been an inspiration to many.

Yeah he's doing a great job so he said I want to make this video mainly because I'm doing wonderful but hasn't been all great no there are things that I'm struggling with and he has only you know been in the recovery zone for like not even a month yet so he says one over stimulation if I'm scrolling too much on social media if I have the big TV on in the room and I watch it too long I feel a little light headed. He goes I'll have to go to the bedroom and turn the lights off he also said that socializing is another thing that he's been hesitant to do starting to get back into it. So next week there's going to be a lot of people in New York and I've been on my more cautious side. He said three anxiety something that I've always dealt with but definitely ramped up now anytime I read anything about a certain tumor my hands will start to sweat I get anxious I feel 100% at times and then I tend to over do it. I'm really an over doer and then he said he was struggling to make this video and then he also said that he used to be able to operate on very little sleep he usually can't now and he said an honorable mention is that this is going to be with me for the rest of my life what is he mean it's going to be with him for the rest of his life so I talked to my dad about that it's something that can like I believe depend on his stage.

But it might always I think it's always going to need to be monitored because they they have a tendency to go back so there's just this underlying like fear anxiety yeah you know about well so far he has been an inspiration and we know he will continue to be that I also read this and I say my thought is if if I talk to Joe. Which I did a few days ago I would probably tell him to sleep you don't need to go without sleep make it a priority in your life Joe you're not young. You're not young you're 40 year old yeah and you just had brain surgery take some time to rest my man yeah hey you might remember these two people from bachelor in paradise one of the most untalked about misses from bachelor in paradise season 10 was the fact that this cup. Oh God together yet they were never on the beach at the same time so us viewers never really got to watch them fall in love or date or flair.

How the two of them got through the whole thing with never meeting each other in the beach in season 10 is. Is beyond me sucks yeah but Ali Joe and Sam McKinney. Move in together after one year of long distance dating. You basically summed it up but yeah they've been doing long distance between South Carolina and Florida she's in the Florida native and now they have made their official home together Delray Beach Florida. She says this move has really felt like the beginning of something completely new for us we're happy for them and it would be crazy if. In wonderful if it you've them end up getting married but a bachelor miss for sure as you mentioned. Well that's all the headlines we have for today those are some bangers congratulations again to Peter Weber and Jaden car on expecting twins we believe allegedly twins it has not been confirmed yet but.

The unless they're really bad at math one plus one does not equal four but that's the caption that they gave also Tyler Cameron has a lot going on his life congratulations to him. And then we wish Joe the absolute best. We'll be back this week with a ton of stuff happening on the almost famous podcast we're actually going to be breaking down dancing with the stars. On the almost famous podcast now because of the crossover with bachelor nation there's always been a little crossover but right now as the bachelor takes its high a dis we are going to be following along with the dance of the stars journey for Tyler.
