Peralta Shines in Spring Debut, Building Chemistry with Alvarez

Unlike many pictures who stay quiet on Game Day, he jumped into a basketball game, laughing and trash talking while taking wild shots. On the mound at Clover Park against the light Yankees lineup, he settled in after a shaky first inning, pitching three solid frames in a 10-4. When Peralta struck out four, gave up three hits, one walk, and two earned runs. He smartly switched from fastballs early on to changeups and curveballs later, which shut down the hitters.
