- Why should we even talk about luck 
   - People take for granted the success of others as BEING LUCKY 
   - People undermine the hard work it takes to accomplish something like a trained dog or successful business 

- What is Luck? 
   - Luck is being in the right place at the right time and having the ability to capitalize on an opportunity 
   - Examples of being lucky 
   - How can you increase your chances of getting lucky? 
   - No one can guarantee you success, but your actions can guarantee failure 

- Networking 
- Working hard

- Recognizing and taking advantage of opportunities 
- Reinvesting in yourself creates more opportunities 
- ACTIVELY Look for opportunities 
- Ask to be a guest on someone’s podcast that does interviews 
- What does this have to do with dog training? 
- Put the work in to have the dog you want, or be willing to pay someone else to put the work in for you. 
- Seek out and find the people that can help you achieve what you want with your dog, even if you have to travel to them.
