Patriots Sign Jesse Luketa to One-Year Deal

The New England Patriots have signed outside linebacker Jesse Luccada to a one-year deal ahead of the 2026 league year. This move, reported by an NFL insider on Thursday, marks the team's first external addition this March. Luccada, a 27-year-old from Penn State, stands 6 feet 3 inches tall and weighs 253 pounds. He entered the league as a seventh-round pick by the Arizona Cardinals in 2022, overall number 256. Over three seasons with the Cardinals, he played in 31 games, mostly on special teams. His career stats include 35 tackles, 3 sacks, and one forced fumble with 367 defensive snaps and 500, 46 on special teams. Last year, Luccada spent time on the Los Angeles Rams practice squad, but saw no game action.
