Patriots' Edge Rusher Hunt in Free Agency & Draft

After a roster overhaul in Mike Frables first year, they made it to Super Bowl 60 and now have over $40 million in cap space. Their biggest need is at Ed's Russia, which front office exec Elliott Wolf called an obvious gap. Last off season, they signed veterans Harold Landry III and Kay LeVon Cheson to lead the group. Landry started hot, but got derailed by a knee injury, though he's expected back after possible surgery. Cheson had a break out with 10.5 sacks, especially in the playoffs, but he's hitting free agency at age 26. Dept comes from undrafted rookie Elijah Ponder, who flashed late last season, plus Anfone Jennings and draft pick Braden Swinson.
