Signing with the San Francisco 49ers, Byard interrupted to say he was hoping instead to hear that Brown was headed to New England. Byard knows the drill, having played with Brown on the Tennessee Titans undercoach Mike Frable. The two even worked out together recently, so a reunion makes sense to fans and players alike.
