They have a real military effect, effect and even when drones eliminate infiltrators, the tactics still achieve strategic objectives. The effects of infiltration are force mobilization. Ukrainian forces have to respond. They draw the

17:07amount of secure positions. Reconnaissance provides intelligence on Ukrainian positions. Reconnaissance by fire, infiltrators can draw fire, revealing defensive positions, which can be hit by artillery, fab bombs, missile strikes or other drones. And of course, drawing them out of their positions allows drones to observe Ukrainian movements and reactions. Now, anytime Russians command a spot, anytime Russian command spots a high-value target, they get there as he 34s in the air and they launch glide bombs. And these glide bombs are approximately 200 kilogram explosive payloads. And that's a small, a small one, which are abundant, but they go all the way up to 1500 or 3000 kilogram variants. And they have a pretty decent range and they can't be shot down like drones or too fast and too numerous. The damage capabilities are there able to collapse fortified bridges, destroy bunkers, level entire city blocks, and they're more effective than traditional artillery.

18:11So if you, if these little infiltration units draw fire, Russian drones can see where the fire is coming from and then launch a glide bomb into it. And there's videos of glide bombs taking out entire fortified tree lines with a single glide bomb. And SU-34 losses are remarkably low. Like I don't, I can't, I guess maybe one of them went down at the beginning of the war that I vaguely remember, but like the last loss was a couple of months ago and that was due to mechanical issues. And Russian units are pretty well trained according to the Ukrainians. Not the official Ukrainians, but Ukrainians that actually have to do the fighting on the battlefront with them. Russian units train in abandoned towns in northern Russia and artillery units conduct exercises first, flattening old Soviet towns that have been abandoned, infantry then move in to conduct urban warfare training in destroyed areas that had been recently destroyed by actual artillery fire.

19:15And the reasoning is that real urban battlefields will be destroyed, not ready made with intact structures, which is actually kind of a brilliant way to train soldiers. Yeah, kind of is. A very Russian way to train soldiers. Like we've got an empty town, let's destroy it with our artillery fire and train our soldiers in it.
