He claims they fired him without cause in November 2023 during an NCAA probe into sign stealing allegations. The lawsuit argues the school violated his due process rights under the 14th Amendment. The trouble started with former staff or Connor Stallions who bought tickets to scout opponents in person and record their play signals, breaking NCAA rules. Stallions resigned that month, and the NCAA later confirmed years of scouting violations plus recruiting issues, hitting Michigan with millions in fines. Partridge was mostly cleared of wrongdoing.
