The 30-year-old was a key part of their line, drafted in the second round of the 2019 draft. They shifted Jenkins to center to open the 2025 season. But in November, he suffered a season ending lower leg fracture along with ligament damage. That injury opened the door for Sean Ryan, who stepped in at center. The Packers just locked him up with a three-year contract extension. Releasing Jenkins clears $19,530,000 in cap space for 2026. It comes with a $4,800,000 dead cap hit in the final year of his deal.
