Packers Re-sign RB Chris Brooks to 2-year Deal

His agency, One West Sports Group, shared the news on ex this Wednesday. Brooks was on track to hit restricted free agency this offseason, but he chose to stick with Green Bay instead of testing the market. Last season, the 26-year-old backed up Josh Jacobs rushing for 106 yards on 27 carries while adding 13 catches for 91 yards. Earlier in the year with the Packers, Brooks ran for 183 yards in a touchdown on 36 carries. He had spent nine games as a rookie with the Miami Dolphins, after going undrafted out of college.
