Oxfordshire Council's No-Left-Turn Fine Crackdown

The council's been scraping by financially, slashing 10 million pounds from the budget last year, mostly from kid services, and even floated, turning off street lights at night to save cash. They're pushing for a single super council to run the whole county, claiming it had trimmed costs for taxpayers. Drivers are gripping hard, saying the no-left turn signs are easy to miss amid all the traffic and blemming cyclists for cutting them off without lights. This, though, called the Junction Scariest Hill with big buses and cars making it dangerous, and they backed the fines to keep things safer.
