En: The cold in the winter was felt in Washington.

He: כיכר לינקולן הייתה מלאה באנשים.
En: Lincoln Square was full of people.

He: מרים עמדה על המדרגות ליד הפסל של אברהם לינקולן.
En: Miriam stood on the steps near the statue of Abraham Lincoln.

En: She took a deep breath.

En: Today was the day she would give her lecture.
