Our UFO Sighting and Real Aliens From Altered States

In late 2025 to early 2026, we may have done a bit of helping out working on the Spielberg film Disclosure Day. Theodore Sturgeon, the science fiction writer, when responding to critics who said "ninety percent of science fiction is crap" said "Ninety percent of everything is crap". This is one of the most useful epistemological tools ever invented. It applies to anything made by man. Including start ups and religion! And nowhere does it apply more beautifully than to crop circles and UFO's!
The mistake made by both believers and debunkers is that they refuse to acknowledge Sturgeon's Law. The believer says: "Every UFO is an alien spacecraft." The debunker says: "Every UFO is Venus or a weather balloon." Neither position survives contact with reality. The mature position begins with: "Most reports are probably mundane. The interesting question is the remainder." That is how science actually works.
