0:00the morning animals. The first undefeated true freshman since 1947 is Sergio Vega of Oklahoma State. We talked about that. His strength is when he sits the corner. His leg to the problem. He flat-knows hips. It's a great start for Oklahoma State JV. We are the morning animals in Zingers, but does he curse carry in T-bag?

1:00A very happy T-bag. Now, I was no offense to Sergio Vega. I was promised some jacks for us winning a national championship. So OSU, just first of all. By the way, we did promise T-bag. He would get his OSU wrestling in today. So this is your time. So we picked the shortest segment to do it? No. Okay. I mean T-bag, come on. I know. Stop being Curtis here. All right. Can I have some fun? Listen, I was in a multiple TV situation all weekend long. And every time wrestling was on, it was always on wherever I was and people were going crazy. It was so fun. It was all weekend. It was so fun for OSU. So first of all, OSU finishes national runners up for the first time since 2016. Third time since 2007, which is kind of crazy because you know, we all know OSU hasn't been able to win a national championship. In 20 years, but the fact they've only been runners up, you know, until this year, twice in 20 years is a crazy amongst itself.

2:00Because Penn State and Iowa have kind of just separated themselves. Well, now, you know, with the addition of David Taylor, you know, this season was just a massive success. And OSU had four guys wrestling for national championships. All four are freshmen. Three of them are winners. The one guy that lost Cody Merrill. He was a runner up. A freshman. But it was just, it was awesome that he even got there. He was a seven seed. Had a couple of upsets along the way to even get to the finals. So that was the success of itself. So OSU had three national champions at the 133. Jack's four is the absolute beast that is Jack's four. Since one could be out of four, could be out of four because he has a promising future ahead. Sergio Vega, who you guys just heard. That was great call. So Sergio Vega, they start off the match at 141. Or they set off the finals at 141. So they start at 141 and ended at 133 with Jacks. Sergio Vega, or Sergio Vega. He was the first true freshman. National undefeated national champions.

3:00It's 1947, as you heard on that call. The first one to do it in almost 80 years. And then Jack's four is stated again one hour later. Jack's four is also a undefeated true freshman national champion. So OSU has two guys that were true freshmen. Underfeated national champions, which we haven't seen in 79 years. Lane and Rob do at 157 won his national champion. The championship, the freshman as well. So OSU wrestling, man, the future is just so unbelievably bright. David Taylor is one of the most home run hires I can think of in the school's history. Just with the way in year two, he's able to get this program back where it needs to go. It's reenergized. You know, my, my, you know, I don't want to say love for the sport because I'm not going to sit your table. I'm a wrestling diard. The wrestling diards are in a separate category themselves. You're a runner. But yeah, you know, I mean, I want to doles and stuff in college and high school. You know, it's like I've been, I've been, you know, keeping up with it. But the fact that they're just, you know, taking off the way they are.

4:00And they have these superstars in the sport that are just freshmen. They're just getting started in the recruiting class that they got coming in. The guys they have coming back. And I'm sure there's going to be a couple of portal guys they'll get. Man, a year or two from now. A Penn State. You better watch out because I don't know if you guys heard Kale Sanders in the, I don't know if you guys heard Kale Sanders in the Penn State coach. Is he, is he scared? He was not happy after they won the national championship. He had four guys won a national championship. All he could do is just talk about how, how they do it the right way. Oh, you know, they're doing it the right way. They're doing ethically all this. And David Taylor, a Penn State alum. He was upset that David Taylor did it. Acknowledge any Penn Stateers. He was upset at that. Don't don't go too heavy on ethics at Penn State either. David Taylor in the beast. That is Oklahoma State Wrestling is coming back. 34 national championships is coming for 35 Kale Sanders in your 11. That's so cute. You have 11 or 12. Whatever it is. Yeah.

It wasn't until his third match at five at Nationals that he. The first two matches he took fall in the first period at Nationals. That was technically a high schooler. He's a. He's a freaking beast. A graduate from high school three months ago. Anyone in the national championship on Saturday? Yep. I'm going to take a T back, uh, spent the latter part of last week around a lot of OU guys. And, uh, just talking about the OU stuff and Jack's forest name came up. Oh, in what context, Carrie? See, Big Cat was tweeting about him all week and Carrie.

6:00Did you see that? I didn't. I didn't see that. Yeah. Big Cat tweeted it like after every Jack's forest match. She's like, this Jack's forest guy is an absolute beast. Carrie, how does one randomly get into a Jack's forest conversation? And Norman. Well, we're talking about somebody just died. Well, well, that is the most morbid transition ever. Right. Right. Only Carrie Murdoch can make that transition. Well, you know, it's better than complaining about my vacation. You didn't. Didn't have a good vacation? No, you didn't, apparently. So, um, that makes no sense. Congratulations, Oklahoma State. You are off to a really good start back. Carrie, you were off to a great start, like a rap song hype, man. It first like. Yep, after everything he said, but I don't know. I heard you run out of gas very quickly and then call him a front runner. Yeah, I don't understand you. You fought a good fight and tried to stay in a good place, but you just. I mean, he said he wasn't really into it.
