Listen, great show. Tonight, lots to talk about. Phenoms taking starting roles, position battles, and more. Got a lot to dive into, so we'll do that. Also remember, when you send those wonderful superchats, help us to go towards the pay afford, which is our military and our first responders.
We're going to look out for them because they always look out for us. Look who we got. We got the illustrious panel. Nevada Buck, dev back from his illustrious vacation. His surprise pop-up vacation. So glamorous. He's back. Happy to have him back. Fellas, let's start with you, dev. What's up, brother? How was your vacay? Oh, good, man. Chillin' with the family. Watch a little bit of basketball. Didn't go our way, but still got to watch that. Got to watch a little Buckeye hockey game going on right now. But overall, pretty good, man. Excited that these boys get back from spring break. Back at this upcoming week. So we'll be sure to have some updates coming out more out of spring. So excited to get back in the role of some Buckeye football, man. We need some positive outlook on Buckeye nation. Yeah, we do. And that's about that time. Spring ball about to pick back up. Nevada Buck, man, how you doing today?
What you doing? How you doing? What's going on? Well, I was doing good. And then Devon drops a bomb on me before the show. And he's like, Devon, I'm telling you this, J.J. Smith kid's going to be really good at Ohio State. And I'm like, Devon, man, you're bringing the heat, man. You're bringing the heat. So now I'm really excited. I want to see this J.J. Smith kid come out there and see what he can do. What numbers he'd, you know, he's going to be like. That's funny. Number 44 and number 88. There's some Lynch Wands number or anything like that. It was going to be two, but legend bays out playing him right now. But that's not it, Nevada. I have another nugget that'll give you here shortly. That's going to be on even more. But you'll get in that here, you know, whenever bays as we can. Let's let's go. Yeah, before that, Nevada, update the people on what you're watching, what the score is, what's going on. We'll be monitoring it as we're doing this show. Tell us what's going on about it. We got women's hockey for the national championship. The Ohio State was down to nothing at any end of the third.
It's now 2-2 and eight minutes to go in third. And I am guilty pleasure. I am watching while I'm potting. So we've got 2-2, eight minutes to go in the third for the national champion. Ohio State versus Wisconsin. So I will, I will keep everybody updated. You will not miss a thing because they scored no matter what's being said, I will shout in the like I scored. And yeah, but 2-2, eight minutes to go. Yeah. So go, lady, hockey, buckeyes. And the frozen for for the championship will keep you abreast of that situation. So in the meantime, in the meantime, I'm going to tell you a little bit about my weekend. Me and the wife had a nice little, you know, a date, basically. For you, for those married folks who, you know, young kids, it's hard to date. It's hard to go out and just have a nice dinner. And we were able to do that. So that was fun. But we also went to a place called Smash Park, y'all in Westerville, Ohio.
And I was introduced to axe throwing. So of course, I had the point to the camera afterwards. Listen, I had a rough start at first. I've never been axe throwing. There's there's a technique to it. But it did not take me long to get it down. As you can see, I nailed it. My wife's pretty good too. But that was fun. Nevada, have you, you or death, have you ever been axe throwing? I've seen it. I've never done it. I've just kind of associated me drinking with throwing like big, gladed objects like that. And I thought about it. And I'm like, you know, I really am having a hard time coming up with good possible outcomes for that. You know what I'm saying? So I have to stay aside.
So no, I have never done it. But look, it'd be most, you could do anything. You could like do ping pong, cool, waterfall. Then you're an athlete, man. Those athletes can just pick it right. You're throwing hitting the bulls eye every time on that thing. Yeah. Listen, I'm very prideful when it comes to competition and athletics and stuff. And that's why I hate that I suck at golf. And Dev is going to have to show me some things when we link up next time. But yes, my wife, she was good. She actually, she's been axe throwing before. And so she had to kind of tell me like, you know, put it over your head. And she beat me in the first round. And after that, pion didn't take long. But yeah, that was dope, man. Because some people think you can just throw it at the wall. No, you can't. Now you actually have to do it the right way. Or to just hit against the wall and drop. But anyway, Dev, you said you'd done it before. I actually enjoyed it. I thought it was pretty, pretty fun. It is. It's fun, man. It might sound wild, but like I did that as a little kid. Just growing up on a farm, always had an axe or a hatchet or something.
Just throw it, throw it out of stomp, throw it inside of the barn, get it to stick, whatever. It's fun. There's definitely a technique to it, dude. But you look like, I don't know. You look like Julian Sain. How he looked through an axe, right? Bulls eye, man. Bulls eye. Got that quick release. Mark Swicks said, Bimosas don't make her a mad, bro. Yeah, for sure. Because she throws a mean axe. So, you know, let me be careful, I guess. I don't want no misery, tight movie scenes. But I was waiting on the Nevada update, but we just went down three to two with content forward. Yeah. So there's the update for you. I'm watching it as well. All right, that's cool. Well, we still got what we still got plenty of time. So we just, yeah, that's why he's on that's why he's on mute right now. He's fuming. He's throwing stuff, I'm sure. No, I'm telling you, like, like, this is really, I must be like somehow like a million years behind you.
Because like, I'm still, I still got it at two to two with six minutes and 30 seconds to go. And there's still line up for a fail. So I'm sorry. My YouTube TV must really suck. I mean, I must be like, wait behind four minutes and 50 seconds. Oh my gosh. I'm literally like, what did you pause it at one point? I'm sorry. I might have, like, hold on. Yeah, that's what I see. Yeah, that makes more sense. As I said, that's ridiculous. Even for you to TV, bro, that was way too much. Oh my god, I paused it. I'm like, I'm the worst, the worst. Well, Greg's let us know in the chat, too. I saw it before he put it in the chat. And I was waiting on Nevada to say something. But yeah, I would have said, I would have said something had I not had paused it. Oh my gosh. But you could have bet me on the game, Devon. I would have bet you're like, you're like a genius. You're like a, like a swammy. That was the moment. That was your moment.
All right. So, so listen, we'll keep monitoring the score. Let's go ahead and get into some position battles, some phenoms, stepping up, and all that good stuff. And they kind of go from there. And then just feel free to jump in, you know, with the score up day. Hopefully with a goal. I know that soccer, but still, whatever. All right, cool. So actually, Nevada, because I know, Dev, you got some stuff. But Nevada, I wanted you to start this off and then transition to death so he can jump in on the position battles. Funky had a great post, you know, from his sources about position battles with some young guys and some seasoned guys. And you know, some things I think we're going to see towards the end of spring ball kind of carry over and to fall camp. Nevada, I thought it was a great post. What's your thoughts on that? What are you hearing? You concur? All that good stuff. What you got? Well, I mean, look, there's, you were always looking for names of who the next players are.
Maybe some guys that are flowing a little bit under the radar. And it's been kind of interesting when you hear from multiple sources. If I'm hearing it and Dev's hearing it and Funky's hearing it, you generally can kind of cross triangulate and say that's going to be a pretty good player. But the one thing I thought was really interesting, because this was not an A lot of people talking about before the season. And is Lee Roy Roker. You know, Roker's a guy that, you know, you bring in Terry Miller, you pay him money and you hope that he can be the guy. And he may be end up being the guy, you know, some guy coming off injury. But Lee Roy Roker is a guy that I've heard from multiple people is turning heads there to Ohio State and, you know, could be, could be the guy. I mean, he could be the guy next to jail on the claim. Therefore, that safety spot. And I just think it just speaks to how much depth Ohio State has, you know, not saying it is lowly rated. But, you know, it's not like that's not a guy that we've been talking about. That's not a guy that, you know,
as we've been doing our depth charts, that we've been like, oh, wow, we can't wait to see the great Lee Roy Roker that are playing it. But I just thought that was an interesting name coming out and somebody that is a fan, you know, you're always looking at this podcast to be a little more just smarter than the average bear or a little more educated about stuff. Remember the name Lee Roy Roker. I know you guys are probably familiar with it, but he's a guy that could definitely be a guy that not only contributes, but plays a lot for Ohio State this year. Definitely someone I'd pay an attention to. Yeah, yeah. Let me, I wanted to expand the picks now working. But anyway, yes, that has been sort of a surprise. It's almost as like, how can I put it? First of all, Dev, do you recall Roker's ranking? Wasn't he either a high three or low four? I think he was a high three star. Yes, I thought he was a three. And so, listen, I'm even guilty of this sometimes. I, because I'm the don't stargaze.
I appreciate everyone like Nevada, you know, type guy. But I didn't, you know, do the Humpty Dance, like funky when we got Lee Roy Roker. I just didn't. I mean, I was like, okay, I trust the staff. They think he, you know, has some potential. I wasn't celebrating like, oh, we got his one. And I thought he was a, he was a low three star. He was ranked number 155th safety. Okay, there you go, nice. Thank you, thank you for that. That just brings it home even more. Now listen, he ain't done nothing yet. Okay, so we're not saying he's the next Caleb Downs. But the coaches for them, what they're saying and what they're doing and allowing him to break practice. And we keep hearing that he's turning heads in practice. He's leading, that's something like Nevada says. So it's just like, wow, that is very interesting. But it also, you know, points towards development. Now, we need to see it on the field. But we've already seen signs last year.
Because as Dev has pointed out before. So eloquently is that some of these players who left, they hit the portal. They were behind Roker. Roker was seeing a feel before them. So, and those guys were four and five star, four high four star kids. So there's something there. So anyway, that's my response. I'm very intrigued. I'm excited because to me, that's just like, that's found money. It's just like, okay, most fans have written him off. Really, okay, he's just a depth guy. If he can come in and start or be in the rotation. And then you got more talented kids, highly ranked kids that are still coming up with their talent. That's just, that just makes the team deeper, Dev. Yeah, it, it, that is definitely right. This is 100% of surprise to everybody. I haven't seen anybody, Rick bringing his name up. The only context in which people brought up, Lee Roy Roker is when we spoke about him. For him, he played in front of for him, Delane.
We really only got to see him come in and that Miami game. That's not much of a, you know, it's not a lot to go on there. But another reason why we haven't heard about him is because we got Terry Moore from Duke, the, you know, all American safety who really a lot of people had him really up high on the transfer portal list. But he was out for an entire season. So we had some concerns on whether he was healthy, coming in healthy, which he is. But a lot that didn't get talked about is okay. What does missing an entire year of football do to somebody, right? So remember that as well. We're kind of early in Terry Moore getting back involved in this thing. But man, I heard this same thing. The first person I heard it from was not a player. So I kind of took it like a grain of salt. And then I got told this, you know, when you hear things from players, you should probably listen. And then when I got told this and then I saw funky's update as well.
I was like, dang, man, Lee Roy Roker must be really turning heads here and just goes to speak to the developmental process at Ohio State because he didn't transfer out. This is he's going in his third year now. So he's had plenty of opportunity to transfer out. This is his third year or fourth year, third year, yeah, third year. So hearing really good things, you know, as far as the leadership aspect, he's really taking charge as a leader. You know, he was the first player at the first spring practice to give the team a speech. It wasn't Julian saying, wasn't Jeremiah Smith. It was Lee Roy Roker who did that. So, you know, that speaks a lot. And it also just, you know, speaks to the depth that we could possibly have. We'll see who wins out this starting role. I kind of expected Terry Moore to start a little slow here because he didn't play for a year. But still, the fact that Lee Roy Roker is in this conversation with an all-American safety who's already got the job done before.
I mean, speaks to the pedigree of player that he could potentially be. And we should get excited. Whether he wins a starting role or not, he's going to make an impact on this year's team already. So that's exciting. Yep, I definitely agree. All right, before we ask Nevada any update, is it still three to two? Still three to two, I think it is. It is still three to 90 seconds to go. Yeah, three to two, but Ohio says it's got the puck moving around, looking to try to get the equalizer. It's tax season. And by now, I know we're all a bit tired of numbers. But here's an important one you need to hear. $16 billion. That's how much money and refunds the IRS flagged for possible identity fraud. Here's another one. I've got Dan Morgan here on the pod. Say hi, Dan. Hey, how's it going today? It's going good, man. Tell us who you are and what you do. I'm Dan Morgan. I'm an attorney and a managing partner at Morgan Morgan, which is America's largest injury law firm. That's pretty awesome. Um, I think I saw Billboard years recently that said that $20 billion won. $20 billion in a sane number. Yeah, $20 billion recovered. It's actually, I think, somewhere north probably closer to $22, $23 after this year. And each year we get bigger and better and our army grows. So the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on. Awesome. So how does someone get in contact with Morgan and Morgan? What would I do if I got into an accident? Probably the easiest way is dialing pound law. That's pound 529 from your cell phone. We are always open. Our call center is always waiting to take your call. 24, 7365. Wow, Dan Morgan. From Morgan and Morgan, America's largest injury law firm. Thanks for coming by the show. Thanks for having me. Visit forthepeople.com for an office near you. I think they've proven that emptying that emptying that now.
Uh-oh. Okay. Oh, shot. Don't keep that in. Keep it in. Oh, Dan. Come on. I love it. Come on. Dev, Dev, being ahead of me there with his, Dev spent the extra 50 cents for the use of the Bruce thing. I should have gone with it, man. I should have gone with it. Did you say 90 seconds left in the game or the quarter? No, that's the game. What a period. What was the game? It's a third period. Yeah, it's a third period. Oh, we might as well ride this out. Yeah. Dan, what's your response is I'm trying to read your face. It got intense. It got intense. It looked like we were about to get the job done. Something has happened right in front of the goal right now. I don't watch hockey enough to know, but there's some people that are upset. Looks like there's sticks flying around. That puck is. Did it go in? No. No, no, they're complaining about something.
They're complaining that she covered her hand on the puck. Kind of like the last year that's what happened. All the house they covered the puck with her hand. Got a penalty shot called late and they were hoping that would happen. But Wisconsin, you can't cover your putt. If you're the unless you're the goalie, another player can't cover the puck with their hand in the crease, but I don't think that happened. Do they review that? They can. They can. That's what they did last year. They reviewed it and got the penalty call. So I mean, if you try for it and you miss it, then they get a power play the other way. So it's not like it's just no harm, no foul on the year. So it's a big, it literally would end the game if they did that. Okay. So basically it's in limbo right now. It's a lot of talk going on right now. A lot of talking. Okay, so did you want to jump in and then just interrupt? Yeah, if something changes, we'll just let's just keep on keep on truck.
Okay, review that. She 100% grabbed the puck with her hand. So you can do it out of it. You can do it out of the crease. You can't do it in the crease. That's the whole. Okay. So if it goes our way, then, uh, then, uh, I was going to get a penalty. I'll ask that we get a penalty shot. Okay, okay, okay. Which is what we want. So keep us updated on that. So real quick, promise next item on the, um, the funky nugget. What other position battle are you intrigued by the motion about it? Well, I think what's interesting to me is just because it's the spring is the running back spot. You know, I'm saying like, like, what's going on at the running back spot? You know, you've got, you know, Isaiah West, you've got Bo Jackson out. So you've got a wide open room. And so you just keep hearing things. Um, you know, obviously the legend bay stuff is, is pretty, pretty crazy and, you know, going full steam. But what's the, Deb, why don't you, I'll let you bake it because you're one, but what are you hearing about the Florida transfer and what, what, what are people saying about him?
Well, you know, at the running back position, there's a lot of things that first off, it's a young running back room, right? So at Ohio State running backs are asked to do a lot of things, you know, protect. Um, we saw CJ Donalds have come in the Miami games specifically for that reason. Um, so I think when you're looking here, you know you got Bo Jackson, you know he got Isaiah West, you know they can get the yards for you. You need a back to come in that's going to be, you know, uh, protect your quarterback, be a veteran presence in the room. Um, and I'm hearing like Jacobi Decton isn't only just that. He is turning heads. He's electric. He's very, um, quick, big and he's healthy now. He's healthy is the thing that when I first spoke about him with the coach here at Florida, that's what he told me. He's like, man, people are, are kind of missing this here because he hasn't been healthy for quite some time. But he's healthy now. Um, and people are talking about Legend Bay rightfully. So because I think he has the highest ceiling, right?
And he has the versatility to go out and play wide receiver. So you're, you're talking, I think possibly about two different, you know, positions there. Ohio State's not going to use Jacobi Jackson, like they're going to use Legend Bay. But Jacobi Jackson is looking, you know, really early right now, but he is passing the eye test, passing the early spring test as a guy that can come in here and be RB two or RB three, um, is what I was told. Um, and that wasn't by some onlooker either. That was by Nevada. I think you always say that players know players, right? So I mean, that's something to keep an eye on there. Jacobi Jackson, um, I like what I'm hearing so far. Hey, real quick. Uh, well, first of all, Nevada, any update? Are they done talking? They're talking to come out to rule right now. They got communication. They're, they're discussing. I, let's see what they say after review.
Unsuccessful, un-successful challenge. So that, I mean, Ohio State gets a Benchminer for delay a game. So literally now, I mean, that, I'm not saying that's the end of the game, but it really, that, they're playing a man down with 42 seconds to go down a goal. And, um, got a score. So they have to score short-handed with 42 seconds to go. That's, that's a lot to ask. So real quick, how long does that last, um, well, that'll be the end of the game. Like the game will end is only 42 seconds. That's a two-minute Benchminer. Two minutes, okay. So typically it's, okay, no, okay, I got you. I was just wondering how long that lasted in normal time, but I guess that's, it doesn't matter now. I'm just going to score, to score short-handed with 42 seconds to go is it's, it's, it's going to be hard. Not impossible, but, but hard. Now real quick, real quick, because I'm still learning this. Do you think in hindsight it was worth going after that, uh, that review? Risky? I, I think she, she was listening to her players who told me they thought they'd
covered it. I didn't see it ever get covered. So I, but I had the benefit of maybe better angles than they did. And I think she was just thinking back last year, what it worked for was constant that way. And maybe she'd get the same luck. But, and, and, and again, in hindsight, no. Got you. Got you. All right. So, um, so real quick, I wanted to respond to the Jacobi Jackson stuff. And again, jump in if necessary, fellas. Um, Devon, wasn't it you who said early on as you were getting stuff from your contact? That he's a really good past pro guy, right? Yes. Jacobi Jackson. Yeah. So that is key and that is very, very important. Because that's the type of stuff that's going to get you on the field more. We learn that we learn that every single year, guys who are better runners will get on the field sooner if you can protect the quarterback on third down. So that's going to be interesting to see. And then of course, um, you know, he, he looks pretty built physical. He has speed. I don't know how elusive he is. I don't know if he's going to make guys miss, but he does get north quick from what I saw in film.
So, hey, if he can do that and move the chains, I'm cool with it. Um, all right, fellas. What's the update? What's the update? I want to be sensitive to it. Oh, I just got called for another penalty because she was about to shoot into an empty net. And so was constant. It's going to win national championship like guys go down. Yeah. Oh, well, that sucks, man. I know they're going to be really, um, hindsight thinking about that, about that review and about it. That's going to be the big story you think. Yeah, that's definitely going to be a story. I mean, it was a tall, tall thing anyway. They had only had 40 something seconds of score. So, um, yeah, but, you know, hey, maybe it was worth a chance because, you know, you get that preview and you obviously get a penalty shot and maybe you win and blah, blah, blah, but, you know, very hard, very hard to do. Yeah, I get the temptation for sure, um, for the opportunity. But sad, you know, it is what it is. They got all the way to the championship gang came up short.
So shout out to that coaching staff and those, uh, young ladies, um, you know, great season. So we kept you off the date real time. That's never happened on the pop before. That was, that was pretty good. You guys got to, uh, live updates. Well, four minutes behind from Nevada until the fast forwarded it. Exactly. I'm still watching the cotton ball right now against all my winning them right now. And we're only down three at the ballback. So I think we got a chance for boys. Who's going to tell us what's all this negativity about the season, man, to see the games, not over to the games over. Oh, man, oh, yeah. I was at the, I was at the Miami-House Take Game with Nevada. And he was on a delay there too. I was at the weight a little bit to him. Oh man. That is hilarious. Listen. Hey, can I say my, uh, my nugget that I got? Yes. Yes. Yes. I'm trying to blow a lot of people's minds. But I was told today that in fact,
Julian saying does have a slight lead over Tavine St. Clair in the quarterback battle. Yep. Let's go. Let's go to Nevada. I don't know. You drop it on that. If you're here, drop a gang, but you're dropping bombs that either dev. You're dropping bombs, man. You know, I'm telling you, this is unbelievable. I don't know. I can't believe this is a, this is a free podcast. We should be charging admission for this thing here when you drop in nuggets like that. But never at all. All kidding aside, like the go back to Jacobi Jackson thing. I had heard from my Florida guy that they thought that he was a heck of a player when we got him. And I, you know, I wasn't quite sure if that was just like whatever, you know, it was being nice or whatever. But I've heard that from a number of people talking about it. So, you know, and he flashed, he'd flop. You know, when he was healthy, therefore, he had done some things. So it's going to be really interesting to see how he does. I'm an attorney and a managing partner at Morgan and Morgan, which is America's largest injury law firm. That's pretty awesome. I think I saw Billboard years recently that said 20 billion one. 20 billion is an insane number. Yeah, 20 billion recovered. It's actually, I think, somewhere north probably closer to 22, 23 after this year. And each year we get bigger and better and our army grows. So the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on. Awesome. So how does someone
get in contact with Morgan and Morgan? What would I do if I got into an accident? Probably the easiest way is dialing pound law. It's pound 529 from your cell phone. We are always open. Our call center is always waiting to take your call. 247-365. Wow, Dan Morgan from Morgan and Morgan and America's largest injury law firm. Thanks for coming by the show. Thanks for having me. Visit forthepeople.com for an office near you. Yeah, no, he's number 24 going through those drills right there. Look how big he is, bro. He was right there. Yeah, look at that. Go call out. I was going to say, I just saw him go through the drill. I'm like, man, he looks you. I mean, he looks physically impressive. I mean, listen, that doesn't mean anything to his to feel. But look, I'll just, I'll say this when we got him, I was like, okay, cool. We need depth, right? But so I just kind of like, okay, whatever. He, you know, we lost some guys. I watched his film. I was like, okay, he's better than I thought. And then dev star hitting us with the information Nevada, you know, from his people.
And it's like, you know, fighting through injuries. I saw him here on this clip. And I was like, man, this dude looks physically put together. And then you got the pass pro prowess. Yeah, I mean, again, every running back doesn't necessarily have to be a Zika Elliott. Can you help the team? Can you pick up yards? Can you break tackles? You know what I'm saying? Like, can you pass pro? Can you be a leader or that stuff? So I'm excited about his potential to help this team. Period. I mean, that's just how I see it, fellas. Uh, Nevada, you got anything on that? Boom, boom, boom, boom, you. There you go. I'll just say in this era of NIL, you know, when you, when you see guys that that stay on the roster, like Roker did, or you see the guys that are brought in from other schools like Jacob Jackson, I mean, I'll have to say things they can help because everything is about immediate help. Everything is about can you help the team this year? So no one, let me brought them in. It's definitely got my attention. I don't think you can afford
just to bring in fifth and sixth running backs and, you know, or development pieces for the future. Like you got to have guys that can try to help you in 2026 is one of those years where they're going for it. And I think Jackson's going to be a part of it. I really do. Now that's good. That's good. So let me, I was going to ask you your next sort of battle, but I know which one I'm intrigued by. I'm about to share my screen. I created a little graphic real quick, you know, while I was on here. It's funny how I be creating little memes real quick. All right. So here we go. Here is the battle. I am looking for Quarersol and Zion Grady. So listen, to me, when I say battle, I'm more so excited about the potential of these two. Zion Grady has been, and listen, Dev, I know you've been getting information on Zion for a while. Like you noticed, Kat, you got, you got the goods. We saw him flash last season.
He's even bigger now. Like his potential to really break through this year is great. And then of course, we've heard about Quarersol and him being injured, but also being twitchy and kind of a freaky little athlete. Not little, but you know what I mean? And then of course, our resident Bama fan, Roe Tai has also backed that up. So to me, the battle between these two is great, but they're both going to play. They're both going to play. And the potential of these two really coming out and being speed demons off the edge excites me. Dev, how do you feel about this? This is one that jumped off the screen for me when I was reading that nugget. Yeah, it is a very interesting one, man. But you know, and I've heard the same type of dynamic with the battle that's going on between these guys. But I think you're looking at two different types of defensive events here. You're looking at a 260 pounder and a 240 pounder, 62, 246, 5,
260. So I think I'm not so sure there, you know, I think it just depends on, you know, what type of front we're going to be running. I know that Maddie P's probably going to do a lot of penny fronts this year, five down and having to stand up lineback from curious to see if that's just Quarersol, or if it's Christian Aliegro. But all signs are pointing towards Zion Grady right now who has just took it up a notch. He played as a freshman. He was the number three defensive in at the end of the season last year coming off the bench. People are trying to throw a bow-acquoton's name in there. He gained a lot of weight in the all season as well. But I mean, the conversation I have had is, you know, Zion Grady is up there as well. Epi is also in this battle as well. But Zion Grady just seems to be, you know, leading to charge there. But Quarersol at the same time is just an actual healthy athletic
freak right now. And that can't go unnoticed. So very intrigued about how you use these guys. And if you see these two players on the field at the same time this year, I'm intrigued about that. Yeah, and real quick, that a question and a comment, and I'll make the comment after my question, you can answer. Do you know how much weight Zion Grady gained from last season to now? That's the question. And number two, with his weight, even with the weight that you gave, because I'm wanting to see what's their increase. Because to me, I saw speed out of Zion Grady last year. I remember he got, he ran down. I think it was a running back in the flat, and I was surprised at how fast he got out there, because I know he's not a, like, a smaller twitchy guy. So I guess my question is based off the speed I saw in film, how much weight did he gain if any? And I'm wondering if that's going to slow him down and just make him a strong side defensive
end type of guy, because I saw some good quickness out of him off the edge, Dev. Yeah, I mean, what I was told, he's one of those players that you might look at him and see these different, but there wasn't that much weight added, because he was playing at 255 to 60 last year. So we're talking about, I think I was told he gained eight pounds, you know, but you're not talking about a epi gained, I think 15 to 20 pounds, you know what I'm saying, like epi's into 40 something, and now he's closer to 260. Zion was kind of already there. So I think they just worked on his body kind of like it can y'all to Jackson, what they did with him. So, you know, I don't think he gained much weight at all. Got you, Nevada. I want you to weigh in on this, this battle between these two. Well, first of all, on the weight issue, like yesterday, I had like care at kick for lunch, you know what I'm saying? And then I had dinner and then my boys were like, late, it's like midnight, and they're like, hey, it's good to stay in shake, and I went there and I had a shake on top of that. So I think I gained four pounds in this whole
weight thing just in a single day or something like that. There's this eight pounds or in the off season, 15 pounds. Dude, this guy's got this guy's got nothing on me, man. I'm telling you, you want to gain some weight and do some over a chamber? Hey, you got to get in there. We got to get you in there with Mick. He needs to know your strategy, man. Well, my strategy is to eat whatever I feel like eating and, um, yeah, those shakes at midnight, those were bad though. You should never do those. I think that's the bad kind of way to think. But I digress. Let me, let me go on. Look, the Alabama kids, James Smith and Claire's all have both been terrific. And I mean, just thinking about our history with Alabama transfers in general, it's been very positive. And I just think these are going to be another two kids that, um, you know, I don't know how excited people are about them. But I think they should be very excited because I think they can, they both absolutely look the part. And they certainly have opened eyes and, you know, people are talking about them at Ohio State. And I think they're
going to be big contributors in 2026, but it should be no surprise because it's Alabama, man. And those kids that out, you know, they've got players there just like we do. They've got players that I think these, these are two really good gifts for Ohio State. And I, I, I know, map nutrition staff are very excited about them. And Zion Grady's in Alabama got two. That's three of them. There you go. Yeah. Yeah. Good reminder. Strawberry shake sounds good. Um, yeah, so it is. I'm just good. It's like me. No, I just told my wife the other day, um, that I haven't had a shake in a while. Like I'm like, I need a shake. Oh, I think we lost Nevada. We'll get them back in a second. Maybe you went to go get a shake real quick. Um, and, and another steak, you know, he likes to eat ribeye steaks during the podcast. But, um, but yeah, I need to get me a steak, and a shake, but not from steak and shake because that wouldn't meet up to the standards. But, yeah, you know what I mean. Um, but, but we'll get Nevada back in a second. But there was at least one
more. I wanted to bring up in this position battle a couple of names that kept popping up. And let me stop sharing my screen. And then, um, we'll get Nevada back when he theory is hold on. Nevada, are you back, sir? Nevada, are you there? I was steak and shake calling, man. They wanted to come back for another strawberry shake. And I'm like, okay, I'll do that. I'll be there. I'll be there in 30 minutes guys. So I got like 30 minutes left. And then I got to go have another shake. It's like, they're so good. They need to start paying us for talking about them on this, uh, YouTube. They're so good. Man, they're so, they're so tasty. Hey, real quick. Do you guys, uh, in your, in your, um, areas of where you live, do you have a place called Shake Shack? Yeah. Okay. That's a national. I don't think the shakes are very good at Shake Shack. That's my personal opinion. But I know it might be a minority of you. But like, you know, when your name is Shake Shack, you think you're shakes. You better get shakes. But like, your shakes better,
just like be fantastic. And I like Johnny Rockets better than that. I like, um, Johnny Rockets is good. I, Johnny Rockets has got some great shakes. But the burgers and stuff, maybe, yeah. But the shakes are outstanding. Yeah. I have a head. Johnny Rockets in the mid. I think we got one Johnny Rockets here over by, uh, um, what's the movie theater by, um, by campus? I used to go Linux. Linux theater. We got one over there. But Nevada, we just got a Shake Shack. What's up, baby? It's Bretsky. And I'm here to tell you that spinquest.com is giving out three sweet coins. All you got to do is purchase a $10 coin pack. And guess what? They're going to give you the coins from a $30 coin pack. I think I saw Billboard years recently that said 20 billion won. 20 billion is insane number. Yeah, 20 billion recovered. It's actually, I think, somewhere north probably closer to 22, 23 after this year. And each year we get bigger and better and our army grows. So the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on. Awesome. So how does someone get in contact with Morgan Morgan? What would I do if I got into an accident? Probably the easiest way is dialing pound law. It's pound 529 from your cell phone. We are always open or call centers, always waiting to take your call. 24, 7, 365. Wow. Dan Morgan. From Morgan and Morgan, America's largest injury law firm. Thanks for coming by the show. Thanks for having me. Visit forthepeople.com for an office near you. What has it been four years? It's still new-ish to Columbus.
So that's why I'm wondering if y'all had it because I've never had her. Actually, have I heard of them before that? I don't think I heard of them before they came to Columbus. They actually came in 2019. So it's year seven. But that's still new. But anyway, listen, again, y'all got me talking about food. I want some diagonal. I want a shake now. I've had them. I thought good at Del Taco, man. You can get chased. I still haven't worked my way. They got shakes at Del Taco too. Anne Fry's and burgers and yeah, yeah. Wow. I know. It's really all sorts of goodness all in one place, man. I'm not going to lie, man. I make milkshakes. Not a lot. But when when I eat milkshakes, I make them here at the house. They're great. They're great. You guys want to send you on or you want to try it? How do they want to do that? They don't have that the gator the gator shakes. It's something like that. The first gator eggs that are going to that like what do you anything secret that you put in beyond the normal stuff to make your shake?
Okay. No, I now I do do this. I I freeze milk like an ice cube tray and then I put chocolate chocolate ice cream in with a little bit of liquid milk and the frozen ice cubes milk ice cubes and I blend it up and it gives you like chunky like it's like a chunk of frozen milk. I love milk though. So I'm okay. That's definitely different. I wouldn't have made it that way. So I might have to steal that and see what's up. Yeah. You know, um, but again, uh, you know, it's just funny with I'm looking at the chat now. Some some people are going after you we're not after you Nevada, but they're saying Del Taco is yuck and nasty dude. Oh, yes. There's the same people that like, Oh, I don't like it. An outburger. An outburger socks. Yeah. Yeah. No, man, Del Taco rocks, man. They'll talk. It was so good. It's it's a Christmas people. Yeah,
there's the same Christmas people together. Yeah. It's the people that do stuff. It's the same like it is like in and out of slander, man. The people that don't have it, they slander it because they're like, Oh, I don't like it because it's not around. Well, don't listen. Don't talk to them. I'm gonna try Del Taco regardless. I'm regardless. I'm going to try. It's on my list. But you mentioned in and out. I've had in and out. I think in and out is really good. I don't I don't know if I might do five guys over in and out depending on how my appetite. But I like in and out. But here's the thing with in and out though in five days, but you got to compare. You can get two hamburgers at in and out for the price of one. Sure. I'm in five guys. So like you got there's a there's a value thing that kind of goes into the equation too because like a double double in and out is like seven bucks or something like that. And you get that at five guys, it's $15, $16. So every time I get a five guys, I feel like somebody's going in my wallet and is ripping money out of my wallet and doing I feel like I'm being ripped off. So I think I think
you got to equate. You got to put the value thing in there too. And real quick, you know how good in and out burger is to a lot of people. Guess who just went to in and out burger after winning an Oscar? Michael B Jordan. See? He could have went anywhere and he went to in and out. And it's all over social media. So it can't be that bad. I mean, you know, no, no. So all right. So we are in and out of the topic. So let's jump back in. You like that? That was beautiful. Chef's kids. So listen, I want to talk about these two names and we can move on and to something else. But these names keep coming up, especially this one name. And this young man right here with the golden smile. Look at that hair, right? He's much more meaner on the field than he did looks in his picture. Trust me, this is Peyton Pierce. So in the nugget, he's talking about
first of all, shout out to Raleigh Petty John, talks about how sources continue to bring him up being out most of the spring, you know, with his injury, you know, but other guys have been able to step in. Raleigh Petty John is not going to be talked about as much right now because he's injured. He is one of the top guys. He he flashed last year. He hit somebody with a captain in St. Old Power Drive tackle last year. You know, Captain in St. Old, he'll know mercy. That captain in St. Old. So he's going to be really good, but he's injured right now. Peyton Pierce, he played a lot, you know, considering he wasn't a starter, but he he was in the rotation. So fellas, Nevada, let's start with you. What you hear about Peyton Pierce? What you think about that update? And do you think he is going to get the green dot? For those who don't know, green dot is the guy with the mic in his helmet, calling the defense, talking to the coaches, lining everybody up, Nevada. Well, I just look at the, I mean, if you just look at recent history and you look at a guy like Arville Reese, who kind of like the year before last, you know, played a bunch, but, you know,
wasn't the starter per se, you know what I'm saying? But played a bunch, flash when he played did his thing. And then this year has gone on to become like he's from Krypton or something like that and going to make, you know, $100 million in the NFL. I mean, I think there's a reason why Peyton got as much time as it did last year on that great defense. And that was a great defense, make no mistake. They played him a ton. So to me, that's all that I need to know about Peyton Pierce, you know, on top of, you know, hearing the good things from people and everything. Just if you played that much on that team, you're a baller. And so I fully expect him to have a break out in that move from being kind of a novelty item to a household name. I think he's going to be a household name by the end of 2026. And real quick, dev sunny styles called him out at the NFL combined. Y'all, he was asked who is next and sunny style set Peyton Pierce. So you can't get a more of an endorsement from a from a class five mutant like sunny styles, right? So I mean,
I'm going to be looking out for him, Dev. What you got? Yeah, I mean, I think Nevada brought up a good point. Remember, Arville Reese didn't play much, but then came out and now he's going to be a top 10 draft pick Peyton Pierce. So a lot of people, for some reason, want to act like he's not that athletic, not that fast, all those things. But it's just like, well, yeah, when you compare him to Arville Reese and sunny styles, I'm pretty sure every linebacker on this roster, you're going to is lacking in that regard. If you're going to compare into those two guys, but Peyton Pierce is going to be 100% starting linebacker. And I think he's green dot worthy for sure. This linebacker room isn't a drinking part of that nugget was talking about Christian and the Wisconsin transfer and Riley Petty John. Yeah, that's the first thing I heard in these winter workouts because as winter workouts, not football still, the players know, right? Linebackers coming in, Riley and TJ both know he's coming in. There's only one spot there. Peyton Pierce has the other spot. So are there
some very intense battles between those two? I mean, winter workouts as much as you can battle and workouts, they push that competition in those workouts. That's why I think you see a lot of these guys coming out, looking the way they look. I mean, look with Riley Petty John. I mean, just looks like an absolute monster right now. And he was injured. So his injury is not that wild. People are like, write him off, but it does hinder his ability. Obviously in the spring, can't do everything everybody's done. But, you know, another one hiding right behind those guys, not far at all as TJ Alfred. I just love what, you know, Coach Lawrence is done with this linebacker room, man. You can't replace Sonny and Orville individually. But when you combine Peyton Pierce, Christian Ali Egro, TJ Alfred, Riley Petty John, all on by the way, Garrett Stover got iron buck high. I don't know what that means. I'm very curious to see how this linebacker room looks as
well. But based off workouts, I test what we're hearing, we got some dogs in the linebacker room. Curious how it shakes out. Yeah, Alfred looks department. He's fat. Again, I know, I know it's early, but he looks Jerome Baker is to me, man. He just does. I don't know if he's quite as fast as Jerome Baker, but he don't look slow. I mean, he looks like a silo to silo line fast, twitchy, run down heel, hit you with bad intentions, type of dude. And so, yeah, I cannot wait to see how these guys blossom and who steps up. But I definitely believe James Laird Knight has definitely got some dogs in this room. And it's just only a matter of time for them to step up. Nevada, any response to that? Well, no, I just, look, I think it's one of those, it's a situation where, you know, the best players are going to play. You know that whether it be young guy, whether it be transfer guys or whatever
it is. And I'm just, I think that the spring, this spring, you've got, you've had more guys out. So more guys are going to have an opportunity to play and you've got more stuff in the transfers. So I think it's just going to be, you know, we're going to take it one thing at a time, but the, with these, you know, the practices, with the strategies, with what's going on here, but we're going to learn a lot. And we're going to know a lot going to the fall. But I think our teams going to look a lot different in the fall because we have so many different guys are out this spring. You know what I'm saying? Like it's one of those things where I'm not even sure, you know, you know, I think the young guys are going to give a chance to shine. The new guys are going to get chance to come in and do the thing. But for Ohio State, you know, I mean, how do you evaluate that against a guy like a Riley Petagion who's not going to play, you know, this spring ball because of injury, you know, like, you know, how does that affect him in the fall? I don't know it's going to be that much. I think they know what they have in Riley. But I just think, you know, this spring, this is, this might be the most interesting spring that we've ever had for me just because of the number of transfer guys and the number of guys out, you know, from the fall.
So I think it's wide open and it's going to, it's certainly going to be exciting to see. It is. It is. And so, you know, I'm going to be at the spring game and all that. I'm going to be at the practices soon. So I want to see these guys in person. I have not seen Alfred in person. I'm Dan Morgan. I'm an attorney and a managing partner at Morgan Morgan, which is America's largest injury law firm. That's pretty awesome. I think I saw Billboard years recently that said 20 billion one. 20 billion is an insane number. Yeah, 20 billion recovered. It's actually, I think, somewhere north probably closer to 22, 23 after this year. And each year, we get bigger and better and our army grows. So the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on. Awesome. So how does someone do in contact with Morgan and Morgan? What would I do if I got into an accident? Probably the easiest way is dialing pound law. It's pound 529 from your cell phone. We are always open or call centers, always waiting to take your call. 24, 7365. Wow, Dan Morgan from Morgan and Morgan, America's largest injury law firm. Thanks for coming by the show. Thanks for having me. Visit forthepeople.com for an office near you. I think I have been out of close. Trying to remember last year when I went. I've seen some guys up like up close, like shook their dapped them up and some I didn't.
I want to try to see Dev try to make it happen. Is Duke is Duke going to be at the spring game? This year, do you know? He'll probably be at the spring game. He's not going to be at any of the scrimmages they have beforehand. But I imagine, yeah, he'll be at the spring game. Yeah, if he's going to be there, I want to link up with him. I want to meet him if possible. You will, for sure. Yeah. Yeah. So that's cool. Anyway, I'm saying I have to say, some of these guys, seeing them in person is a whole different animal. When you consider their speed, their ability, and you see them in person, oh, wow, he's bigger than I thought or he's, you know, Christian, been a Christian was one of those guys who I was like, yo, this dude is a massive beast. He's really six six. Is he six six? Listen, I am all of six four. Some people think I'm six five. Okay. Yeah. Yes. He is. And he's strong. I didn't know that either. Yes. Even when they were doing blocking drills, his punch was very lineman-like. I mean, you know, he's, he just looks like a
monster out there. Now, hopefully, he takes another step of production this year. Claire is gone. He'll have an opportunity, but I'm saying that's just one of the many examples of seeing him up close and being able to say, dang, this dude is huge. So anyway, anyway, anything else on son of position battles before we kind of close out with a quick little story slash update, fellas. Well, I just don't need to look. They think, you know, we talked about linebackers. Obviously, we talked about the running back position, you know, wide receive, you know, tight end. We have a little bit there on what Hunter, Hunter Welching, being a guy that is an angel. Look out for I don't know how excited people are about the tight ends, but, you know, tight ends, I keep hearing it's going to be a primary to tight end set for our state. This is going to be a pro style more like the Rams, not not 13 personnel, not 14 personnel. But I think
they like the versatility they can get with with two tight ends. And I think Hunter Welching to guy that could play and play early. Yeah, I like it. I mean, we have a history of success with 12 personnel. I mean, go back and look at our tight ends from a higher men and Vanette. And I keep, I always forget the other kids name. I went to Jacksonville, but he was a really good. Was it Horseman? Jake, like, what was his name? Somebody helped me, but he was a really good blocking tight end back when we had JK Dobbins. And, but anyway, 12 personnel has worked well for us with just our attack, helping the, you know, to block, especially if we're going to run more wide zone this year, which it sounds like we will. Silling the edge with your tight ends, stud blocking tight ends is critical. Think about, think about the national championship against Oregon in 2015. Remember, Nevada, I know you remember the WAM block. We had higher men coming in
in WAM block. And I believe he was WAM blocking the linebacker. I believe I got to go back and watch the film. It's fuzzy. That was almost 10 years ago. But the point is having stud tight ends who could come in and help in the run game is massive. And so, and then of course, if they can catch two, then that's, that's obviously great. But I think Arthur Smith wants to really utilize our tight ends in the run game, open the run game up. And, and just from there unleashed him at an opportune time to be threats downfield as well. But anyway, anything on that day before we move on to the last thing. No, yeah. Hunter Welcing is the name. He's a friend of the channel man, had him on here. But he's one that caught a lot of people's eye, especially route running, catching passes. So kind of replacing that max clear type of threat. A lot of people talk about Nate Roberts. Hunter Welcing is the name right now anyway. And the wide receiver position, I was told, if you had to pick who's going to play beside JJ and Brandon in this right now, the answer is Devon McQuinn, the UTSA transfer very fast, looking the part very comfortable.
And then the final name I'm going to throw out there is we got two corner transfers, Cam Calhoun and Dominic Kelly. Obviously got germane Matthews and Devon Sanchez as the starters, but Dominic Kelly. And that goes against kind of what I've been reading everywhere. I've been reading Cam Calhoun's looking like the number three corner super early. But it's not what I'm being told. I'm being told Dominic Kelly is looking like a player that they're going to have to find a role for in some way on this team this year. So we'll see. Yeah, we shall. All right, let me pull this up real quick. Just a little bit. We going to touch on this real quick. I thought it was funny, but it's also facts. Shout out to the homie in Trenzig. He posted this. It says, Michigan senior citizen had to coach wanted to stay at Utah, but they stripped his responsibilities. Essentially phasing Calhoun winning him out and pushing him to a lesser program,
recovering from a slew of crimes, cheating and cover-ups. I love that caption. So this is from Yahoo Sports. And it says, but before winning him resigned from Utah, and long before he accepted a Michigan job, he attempted to remain as coach in Salt Lake City. However, in the week following the end of Utah's regular season, a string of emails between winning him's agent Bruce Toner and school administrators outlines start. So the article talks about how winning him wanted to stay. And Utah was like, no, we'll buy you out so you can bang out. Peace we've done here. And so I made a meme, of course, for in Trenzig. And this is a Michigan fan grabbing the trash can that they're scraping the the food off of. Yeah, go blew our first choice, baby. Was it your first choice? Listen, we like Calhoun winning him, but he's a little, little far in his career. If this was Calhoun winning him 10 years ago, mean about that say, yo, okay, you might have you won. But this is a transition coach in our opinion,
this because of where he's at in his career. Great guy, really good coach in general as far as his overall resume. But Utah, they had a chance to keep him and they said, now we good. So Nevada, what's your thoughts on this? Well, I've already heard from people, you know, close to winning him that, you know, the whole discipline thing at Michigan kind of isn't what, you know, like they won't allow him to discipline the players the way that he wants to. And so it's a whole different thing. So I do not believe he'll be long for the job. Obviously, that's not a hot tick for a guy that's 87 years old or whatever it is. But, you know, yeah, no, I mean, clearly he's a guy who'd lost his fastball. He's a guy that, you know, was was really well thought of, you know, for a long time. It was very revered up there at Utah. Not the same guy. So the guy, you know, it's kind of like looking at, you know, Reckhull Wilch when she was like 21 and you look at her when she's like 65 and you're like, you know, this is not, this is the same person, but it's not the same person, you know,
I'm saying, that's kind of how it is with, with, with Kyle winning him. He's not the same guy that he was before and, and now he can't even discipline the Michigan players the way he wants to. So this is going to be a very interesting experiment. Indeed, Devon, what you got, bro? Yeah, I mean, Kyle was a coach when the, you know, I thought it was a good hire, good coach, all those things, but the one aspect to this that threw me off is that story of him retiring or him getting fired and, and whatever it was, there was a little bit of confusion there, right? And of course, when it all was said and done, you know, they were like, well, he just, he wanted to go coach at Michigan, you know what I'm saying? But I feel, I didn't believe that when the first came out. So to hear this, not too surprising to me, honestly, I mean, but that was the intriguing part where this could go an opposite direction for them is if he was a guy that was losing a little bit, Utah didn't want him or he was at the end, kind of the end of it here and all these
changes in college football or just kind of overwhelming to him. You know, it kind of had an inkling that could also be in the cards, but we'll have to see, you know, it's a, it would take a very special coach to walk into a program like that and to, and succeed. So I'm not sure how many coaches there are in the nation that could with what they got going on there. I wanted to mention one more thing, a little bit off topic B. Let me know when I can do that. Go ahead. I want to shout out RJ Dayman. RJ Day played for SFE at OT7 with CJ Cipher, CJ Cipher's probably going to be number one overall player in the 2029 class quarterback from Georgia. But RJ Dayman lightened it up seven on seven. I did just seven on seven Ryan Day was there in Miami for the OT7 event. I went to it last year couldn't go this year, but RJ Day was killing it man, lighten it
up. So I wanted to give him a shout out. So real quick, I have a prediction Nevada, dev, chat, world. I have a prediction. You're ready to hear it? Let's go. Here's my prediction, okay. RJ Day and two years were portal to a house date. You heard it here first. GMOs is dropping. Oh man. He's going to kill it. He's going to kill it at his respective school he commits to and he's going to transfer to a house date. Play with Papa. Play with Papa. The day boys out there are just cooking. You're just trying. You're just trying to up my Julian saying, nugget I had earlier. That's all you're trying. I had to one up you. Is that a one up or not? I think that's pretty pretty. It is. No idea. That's up there. Yeah. Because because the thing is is yes still he met. He's improving a lot. Like the trajectory he's on. He has he has a chance to be a really good quarterback. I'm just saying you just never know. You never know. All right. Let's
get to these super chats, man. Let's get to these super chats. I'm an attorney and a managing partner at Morgan Morgan, which is America's largest injury law firm. That's pretty awesome. I think I saw Billboard years recently that said $20 billion won. $20 billion is insane number. Yeah, $20 billion recovered. It's actually, I think, somewhere north probably closer to $22,
$23 after this year. And each year, we get bigger and better and our army grows. So the number will hopefully keep getting bigger and bigger as time goes on. Awesome. So how does someone do in contact with Morgan Morgan? What would I do if I got into an accident? Probably the easiest way is dialing pound law. It's pound 529 from your cell phone. We are always open. Our call center is always waiting to take your call 24, 7365. Wow, Dan Morgan from Morgan and Morgan and America's largest injury law firm. Thanks for coming by the show. Thanks for having me. Visit forthepeople.com for an office near you. Um, Stilly Matt, thanks for the 199 Swiss Miss Moses golf. I like that with two pro dev and Nova Scotia Buck. Stilly Matt is the goat with nicknames on the spot. Nicknames on the spot. Nobody does it better than Stilly Matt. I like it. What you got, Deb? You like that? I like it, man. I like the little golf symbol there. I'm all of a sudden a pro. No, I'm not. But compared to me, you are. Okay.
What you got, Nevada, you, uh, well, you always, you know, the Nova Scotia buck. That's, that's the thing. I am that, that's definitely one of that, that's old school. I like it. And I like the fact that the Swiss Miss thing is going to hung with you there because you are kind of a, you're kind of a Swiss Miss kind of guy, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, it definitely has hung with me. But again, I was rebuked by Ryan Day himself or those who have not seen this, this is live footage of me out in the snowstorm drinking my hot cocoa, um, with way too much whipped cream for the average person. No, no, that, that, that was, that's a perfect amount of whipped cream. So, and this is something else I want y'all to notice about this picture. Can y'all zoom in? Do y'all see the cup I'm holding? Can y'all see the people on this cup? Can anybody see that? This little fun fact, Deb or Nevada? Can y'all see that? Yes. Yep. I can. Yeah. Who, who's on the cup? Oh, I don't, I can't answer that question. Okay. It looks like it looks like Gandalf or something like that. So, so listen, quick story. That is DJ Jazzy Jeff, you see what the glass is on.
Oh, DJ Jazzy. Yes. And that is Ashley next to him. And that is me Photoshopped at the bottom. So, listen, real quick, I posted, you know, I edit and Photoshop and do stuff. I've remember a few years ago with a Fresh Prince, they had their reunion show. Anybody remember that? They had a reunion show. And they had a picture on, on, on, online where all of them were together for the reunion. And I loved Fresh Prince. So, I went and I edited it and put myself on the picture. And it kind of went many viral, got a lot of lives on my Facebook. My mother-in-law, who's very thoughtful, for Christmas, got me a cup made with that Photoshopped picture. So, that's me drinking out of that cup. I love that cup as my favorite cup. But I wanted to share that story because I just love the whole story. But anyway, again, I know that was like crazy, like whatever, but y'all, whatever, you're just going to listen to my stories.
Anyway, it was a great story. It was great. Thank you. Okay. That's the one where Will was being hustled by the, the, the pool hustler. And then the, the dad came and pulled out his stick and did the pool thing and won the pool game. I mean, that's one of my favorite episodes because Uncle Phil, he said, he said, uh, Jeff from Los Angeles. Give me a little seal. Yeah. Give me a little seal. And dude, look, there's like what? And just start putting body and do. That was a great episode. But I love fresh prints. I'm a fresh prince guy. So anyway, anyway, let's get back on topic. Another in and out burger right there. We got to get back on it. All right. We'll be gotten next. Okay, still a mat. Thanks for the one and nine. What's worse, the hammer or the axe? Let's ask Thor. I think about Thor. Like when you saw what I saw that comment, I thought about Thor and, um, it wasn't in game. It was, uh, um, the one before in game. What's it called?
Infinity Wars. Remember, uh, bring me Thanos. And he had the axe and came now with it. That axe was fire. I don't know. Dad, what's your response to that? What's worse? Ham or axe? I immediately, this is the way my brain works. I immediately thought if I put my hand down on the table, when I weather somebody smash it with a hammer or hit it with an axe. I think I'm going to go with the axe. It'd be a nice clean cut. It'd be a nice clean cut. You know what I mean? The smash. Dude, that would hurt. You know, I don't think you repair that. You know, a big old sledge hammer just smashed down. They'd have to cut it off anyway. So just yeah. Cut it off now. So you want the Jamie Lannister work then. That's what you want. You want the Jamie Lannister and Nevada. That's what he wants. Yeah. A clean cut. Yeah. Just a nice clean cut. Nevada, what'd you got? I, I don't understand why they didn't just let Captain Marvel, who's got the power of the sun, just take out all that stuff, you know, I'm saying that. I mean, you got Hawkeye out there shooting arrows and doing a bunch of different stuff like
that. And I'm like, you got Captain Marvel's got the power of the sun. And he was just like raking fools like they get it all sat back and I kept him. I will do the work, right? That's a, that's a good point. Well, he's the magic guy who can just freeze time. And who's that guy? You're so much strange. Yeah. I don't know. Yeah. No, it's Marvel. See, you know, these riders, they can do whatever they want to do. And they can emit whatever they want. Like, they can just leave stuff out for the sake of their narrative and they can add stuff. Oh, they didn't die because in this, in this galaxy, they were alive. You don't be like whatever, but it's, it was entertaining. That's all that matters, I guess. But fair question, Nevada, I think that's very fair. Stilly Matt, thanks again for the one and a nine. Lady Buckeye's played Notre Dame Monday at the shot. Yep. I definitely saw that. So go Lady Buckeye's. I saw a highlight from, I forget the young lady's name, but she did a nice little year old step in the paint like Duke this way and then came back with the shot. Okay. All right,
then. So yeah, go Lady Buckeye's. Hopefully they can make the sweet 16 anything on that dev, or Nevada. Now excited. If you were a woman's basketball player at your age right now, how good would you be? Would you be like best woman's basketball player in the world right now? Would you be like a WNBA player? Would you be like Olympian? I'm talking right now. Be Moses, just drinking your Swiss fish, hot chocolate, heading right off the bench, going out there. How good of a wins basketball player are you right now? I've said this before, I would be Joanna man. Has anybody seen the movie Joanna man? I mean, just unstoppable buckets. I mean, just ridiculous. I'm sorry. I'm sorry, ladies, but it just wouldn't be fair. So, so there's that. I feel the same way and I'm only 511. I feel the same way. Maybe I shouldn't say that. Never mind. I mean, bro, I'm talking about like coming down court, throwing it off the backboard and dunking it. I mean, just like crazy clown and like, I'm sorry,
Susie and Katie. I got to kill you right now. Sorry. But yeah, that's what it would be. That's my final answer. Final answer, final answer. Be Moses, the biggest wins basketball player. We've settled it. That's settled five as far as I'm concerned. Now, my email is already blowing up right now Complaints of you know, but would you have to do any training first because for me, dude, I would just be so wore out after like three or four times down the court. You think you just run out there right now? No, no, I wouldn't need I wouldn't need to get in shape to be fair. Yeah, okay. But okay, put like this. If I just ran out there now, it wouldn't be 35 and 8. It would be more like 27 and 6. You know what I'm saying? But we're going to get trouble. We're going to get trouble. All right, I'll stop. Let's move on because I'm already going to get okay. Dear Mr. Moses, this podcast, the misogynistic course.
What would your wife and your daughter think? Okay, listen, let's move on. All right, can't smell misogyny without be Moses. Moses. Oh, Jesus, I'll get myself in trouble. I love you. This is just entertainment. Okay. Entertainment. The people, the people are enjoying it. So anyway, speaking of entertainment, Nevada's going to actually know let's do this first. Nevada loves strawberry Oreo shakes. Is that true? That's my favorite shake. That's why Johnny Rockets, you know, they do the strawberry and the Oreo. I had that. That is the best, man. I'm going to have to try that. Yeah, absolutely, absolutely the best. I'm going to have to try that. What's your favorite shake, Dave? I'm chocolate straight up chocolate. Yeah, I'm a Oreo. I'm just straight Oreo. I love Oreo shakes, but I'm going to try to strawberry Oreo. Yeah, that sounds fantastic. So good.
All right. So I would not tolerate this land or geodit. Thanks for the five. Today is Sunday and pixels is still bad. It is not so bad. It is phenomenal. It is a five star family movie. It is the best movie. Did you, did you, Terry and Lancaster's and pixels? How can you not like a movie with Terry and Lancaster? I just say this just I totally agree with you there being. I mean, he's clever. I mean, he's just confounding. I'm guilty of being your son. Remember, he challenged Pac-Man to trial by combat. Excellent movie. No, passed down whatever stood up for him and I would have fought him. I would have fought him. Oh, man, that is crazy. And then of course, still he met geodit off the top row with the pixel slander. It is what it is, man, whatever, y'all can hate all you want. pixels is almost as good as snakes on a plane. Almost.
Hey, Snakes on a plane was hilarious. Snakes on a plane is one of those movies, Nevada, that you that wasn't supposed to be your comedy, but ends up being a comedy like baby boy. Has anybody seen baby boy? Okay. Have you seen baby boy? I saw baby boss. I didn't see baby. Boss baby. I did see baby. Listen, baby boy is one of those hood classic movies. Okay, it is not a great movie, but it's a great hood classic movie. It's a movie that BET, you know, black entertainment television. Okay, BET, BET, they're famously known for overplaying baby boy. Like they literally would play it every day. It's been some years since they done it, but it would be like on rerun. Anyway, it has Snoop Dogg in it. It has Cuba getting juniors brother in it. It has Tyrese Gibson in it and Teraji in it. And it's like it was supposed to be a serious movie, but to be there's some hilarious parts. Anyway, if you want to kill time one day,
watch baby boy. I think you might like it. There you go. All right. What we got? Last super chat here. Geo did thanks for the five. When JJ singles out Legend Bay for being impressive, you know Legend Bay has a lot of juice. Definitely. And we talked about that last week. Geo did. What's up, baby? It's Bretsky. And I'm here to tell you that SpinQuest.com is giving out three sweet coins. All you got to do is purchase a $10 coin pack. And guess what? They're going to give you the coins from a $30 coin pack. That lets you play all your favorite games like Blackjack, Wanted Denner Wild and we're talking real cash prizes, baby. SpinQuest.com. SpinQuest is a free to play social casino. Boydware prohibited. Visit SpinQuest.com for more details. That's pretty
awesome. We are always open. Our call center is always waiting to take your call. 247 365. Wow, Dan Morgan. From Morgan and Morgan, America's largest injury law firm. Thanks for coming by the show. Thanks for having me. Visit forthepeople.com for an office near you. I mean, listen, I know some people are like, yo, pump the brakes, pump the brakes. We don't want to, you know, but listen, we can't control it. Jeremiah Smith, the thing about it is, fellas, and you can tell me how you feel about this. When it comes to hype,
where does hype come from? Hype maybe comes from, you know, scouts, recruiting agencies, maybe film, maybe a guy leaps over somebody and buzz keeps going. But it's one thing to have hype coming into high school. And then the hype continuing when you get on the field with other monsters and the head coaches come comparing you to Tyrick Hill. And then Jeremiah, you see what I'm saying? So to me, it's getting to another level of just hype. Now he asked the cash in and live it out. But it's just like, it's just is what it is, man. And I'm excited. I think barring he stays healthy, he's we're going to see some things this year that like, yo, this kid is nice at the very minimum, Dev. Do you agree what you think about my explanation on hype? Yeah. No, I agree to. And on top of the players, I mean, you got Ryan Day calling him a poor man's Tyrick Hill. You know what I'm saying? Ryan Day, you know, there's select few players that he,
you know, the JJ stuff. I mean, there's a few Dev and Sanchez comments. There's, you know, there's select players that they say things like this about. And I would say that, you know, just based off those two, one played it both them playing as freshmen. I'd probably listen, especially when players and coaches, and he's wearing the number two, you know, there's a long way to go. We know that, but the physical ability is all the way there. What you got on that, Devata? No, I agree. Like, you know, it's, it's kind of, you know, any more, I just listen to who the players are talking about. And when the players are talking about them, then that's definitely, you know, somebody you got to pay attention to. And, you know, offensively, it's, it's been a lot about legend. And so, you know, to me, that's not recruiting hype because, frankly, it wasn't the highest recruited guy we had or I mean, he had a neat recruiting story, but I mean, he's done it since he's been in pressure since he's been on the field out there with Ohio State. He's been in pressure,
you know, since you set foot on the campus. So he's definitely a guy. I absolutely believe the hype is real. And I know Ohio State is reevaluating how they're going to approach things in offense to fit his unique abilities. And that really says something to me. Absolutely. Another excuse for me to pull up Legend Bay clips. I love it mentioned Legend Bay. I'm going, I'm pulling it up immediately. So yeah, again, he's the closest thing to Braxton Miller that we've had since Braxton Miller, in my opinion, his twitchiness, his breakaway speed, his, his ability to even break tackles. Braxton didn't get enough credit for breaking tackles sometimes. And what else was I was going to say about Legend? Yeah, I mean, I guess that's it. I mean, I'm excited about the kid. Yes, that's what I was going to say. My only concern is, is he going to prove to his position coach, the maniacal in a good way. Carlos Lackling that he can have
ball security. High and tight young fella. High and tight. Now, Deb, I heard you mentioned this. I think on a post or something. And I agree with you as far as him being able to pass pro stuff like that. But I think they can he'll have to work on that. But if his die, if his dynamic ability along with ball security is so great, they'll work him in there to where he won't be exposed. If he's not good at that, just to get him on a field. But obviously he'll need to keep improving at that to take one on a bigger role down the line. But if he's just so dynamic, they'll get him in regardless. But yes, ball security pass pro, he has to excel at that to really be where he needs to be. And so the past pro thing that I'm like, right now, I don't know how good he would be at that because he's playing quarterback in high school. Bo Jackson, Bo Jackson wasn't the
best at pass pro either. He was a thousand yard back. You know what I'm saying? Like he had to be taken out and CJ Donald to put in because he was getting destroyed in pass protection. So obviously that's not the end all do all here. Fledging Bay can't pass protect. But he's really dynamic. He's going to be on the field in some way, shape or form for sure for sure. So that'll be a balance. But so ball security will be number one to get him on the field and he'll chip away at the past probe. Listen, let's go ahead and wrap her up. This was a great show. I was looking forward to this show. I'm always looking forward to the show, but we got dev back today. I was been a great weekend. I mean, you know, we we didn't win on Thursday, but that's done it over with. But still a great weekend. And so we got spring ball popping back up again this week. Nevada, any last thoughts before we bang out of here? Yeah, spring ball coming up first. Trimage going up. So lots of exciting things are going to go on and we'll have we'll give you a front row seat here. Like a scoop. For sure, real quick. Let me slide this in. Sack 374. Thanks for the five. As far as speed,
I believe legend is the next rocket isch mail. Wow, that's a name. I haven't heard in a long time. But for those who witnessed it, he was fast, fast, fast, dev. Do you remember rocket isch mail? Or how do you heard of him? Okay. Yeah. Google him YouTube. When do you get a second? Real speed. Nevada, real quick. What do you think about that comparison? It's an interesting one. That is not a name that I've heard for a bit. So lovely comparison. And they they certainly have similar, similar jatsome. And I hope that legend may get the chance for turn kicks like like the Austin. Yes, me too, man. I hope so. Dev, any final thoughts before we get out of here? Man, I hope I don't say this every spring, but I can't remember being this excited for spring ball because of all these new players coming in, you know, transfer portal and freshman and also a lot of second year players. And I'm just excited. Got a lot of turn over. 51 new faces, new coaches, NCAA, by the way, I think change the rule to now 16 coaches can go
on the road. Figure out third that in there. I think that's a new rule. I probably should have not done that at the end of the show. But anyway, excited about spring ball here. And we'll see. Keep you guys updated like Nevada said. Got you. Yep. For sure. For sure. For sure. But anyway, listen, Buckeye Scoot family. As always, we appreciate you. We love you. You make this show great in the chat. If you are watching this show live, jump in the chat, man. It's a lot of fun. As you can see, I'm just I'm just laughing to myself. I had to keep myself from busting out laps sometimes from the hilarity. But yeah, good stuff. But anyway, we'll see y'all next time. Until then, go Bucs and peace.
