I know you've been busy doing your thing, man. Welcome back, first of all. How was your trip? What's up on everything? Trip was your fun trip a week in Buffalo, New York. For anybody who has never been to Buffalo, I hardly recommend. I went and saw Niagara Falls and I did all the touristy stuff and hit some, I kinda eating places there and Buffalo and the people were great and had a great time, but it's definitely good to be back. But a week is a long time to be gone. And so I'm still tired from the trip, man. It's just grueling to be on the road that long. Yeah, that's the only downside we're traveling.

3:18It's like if you could just snap your fingers and be at your destination, enjoy yourself and snap and be back. I mean, that would be, you talk about when people ask what kind of superpower you would have. You remember that movie, Jumper, Nevada Buck? It has Sam Jackson and in it and the, like if you could just be a jumper, that would be great. But yeah, the travel can be grueling and then of course, it's not being in a comfort of your own home. But anyway, so on the trip, tell us a little bit about the daughter and the performance and catches up on hockey games. Well, I'll give you the quick version. There's so much to talk about, but this was the national championships for hockey for the United States. You have to play six games to get there. So they went through the preliminary round, went to find, got to the quarter finals. And I'll just give you guys a quick thing, but this was just kind of interesting. They play, it's zero, zero, with five minutes to go in the game and my daughter's team scores.

4:20And they score and they dog pile on top of each other. And as they dog pile, the ref rules no goal. And a girl then grabs the puck and goes breaks away to the other end of the ice while they had thought that they had scored. And my daughter was actually turning around drinking out of her water bottle and had to readjust as the girl came in on her and the girl scored to go ahead. It was the darnedest sequence that I've ever seen in my puck that was clearly in that, in and out, the refs blew it off. And so now we're sitting down one nothing with five minutes to go in the game. And we're like, oh my gosh, we're gonna go out in the quarter finals and I was having a heart attack. And with two minutes to go, we score to tie it up, one to one. And then with four seconds to go, we score to win it, two to one.

5:22So that was the court, that was Friday night. So then we go to Saturday night against our big riot. Like the big Bishop Kerney is the big rival of Jada. And this was like thousands of people, every college coach and the thing. And my daughter's goalie partner is going to Ohio State, committed to Ohio State. So I thought they'd play her this game, but they went to my daughter again, they went to her back to back nights, you have to play in the semis. And game tied two to two with two minutes to go in the game, and they give a penalty shot to the other team. And the other team, their players, the best partner we're getting, Nella Luscapova going to Wisconsin, best partner in the world, MVP of the worlds, all time the league score of the worlds, comes in, my daughter stops her on the penalty shot with two minutes to go. They go over time, they go to the penalty shootout. They're up one not the penalty shootout. Luscapova's the last shooter.

6:22She comes in again on my daughter, my daughter stops her again on a penalty shot. And they win in overtime and a shootout on the semi-finals night to go to the finals. Wow. Like, yeah, we're so we're having a heart attack. We go to the finals, play a team, the other team from Minnesota that we played eight times this year, got nine national team players on it. The game goes overtime, we give up a two on one and they score and we lose an overtime to lose the national championship. And so my daughter was just gutted. I mean, absolutely, just, just consoled, would not come out of the locker room. Just would not, just like it was, it was terrible. So to say it was a range of emotions, don't they? Yeah. But that's great anyway. Yeah, so I appreciate you guys indulging me listening to my little story, but it was, it was a three crazy talking if I ever seen it back to back to back. And yeah, so I, you know, it's just, it's hard to do, man, to be that literally went overtime

7:24again, back to back nights and they lose and heartbreaking. So, but I'm back and sports is cruel. You know that B, I'm sure you play the million games and I'm sure there's something that still haunts you. This is gonna be one that's gonna haunt me for a while because it was just, we were better than the other team and should have won and just didn't. And, but life happens, right? It does, that's a heck of a ride. And you did a great job of narrating that. Like I could see it, I was picturing your daughter drinking the water. I was picturing her steak down. They literally yelled at the yelled, they're yelling more again and she turns around as the girls come in the honor and keeps like, what in the world is going to be a nightmare? Oh crazy. No, that's crazy though. That is insane. And yes, that is a heart breaker. And yes, I mean, I've had, like we've talked about before. I've had my share of victories and triumphant moments and game winning shots and plays. And I've had my moments of dang, like,

8:26man, I wish I could have that back. Man, I was like, you know, gut-riching or we blew a team out in spectacular fashion and we got blown out in spectacular fashion. It just happens and it's just, it's tough, man. Sports is one of the most rewarding things that you can participate in, especially as a young person coming up, but it really shapes character. Oh my God, your daughter, that, you know, Nevada. That is going to, that's going to do something for her. You know what I mean? And so because she's a competitor clearly and she's going to use that, but man, my heart hurts for her now because I know how it feels just to come up short when you put so much into something on the court, feel the ice, whatever. So thank you for sharing that, man, because oh boy, that's crazy. So, but you are back. You are back, great to have you back. There's been some things going on, some, you know, some updates, some stuff, you know,

9:26Buckeye football has been great to talk about. And so we're going to dive right back into it, man. And really great nugget from my helping technician today, talking about the pace of play and bringing up Arthur Smith again, man. And all this stuff is very, very intriguing and exciting. And Nevada, I think, little by little, the people who hated the Arthur Smith higher, even if they're not vocally repenting, I can tell, I can fill a shifting. Little by little, people are just starting to open up a little more. Like, hey, this, you know, this might be good, Nevada. But anyway, tell us about this. Let's get started with this nugget. Well, you know, Arthur Smith basically, you know, was talking, you know, about the whole plans for going faster. You can say, well, you know, what does that mean? And how do you implement that? They talked about terminology changes. Going to more one word calls to get plays in to Julian Sand

10:27Quipper, so that Julian Sand can, you know, get them to the line faster, a change in conditioning for the offensive lines so they can play more plays, you know, be able to get the line without making personnel changes and personal grouping changes. So the defense can't change. But one of the things that was the most interesting thing and this is something that I knew kind of notionally, but I didn't really know until I read this in the nugget and just kind of really kind of focused on it, was how Arthur Smith, this seems like such a subtle change, but your image on the found one, is the difference of the size of the hash marks from the NFL to the college game. And in the NFL, the hash marks are lined up directly with the width of the goalposts of the goalpost. So it's 18 feet, six inches from hash mark to hash mark. In college, the hash marks are 40 feet apart.

11:30And so what that means is when you have a, you talk about always talking about a field side and a boundary side, the field side is the wider side of the field, whatever the widest side of the field and the boundaries side would be the field that's closer to the sideline. So we're not going to get caught in this deep terminology. But when you're at one hash mark, as with the other, you have got such a gigantic amount of space on one side of the field, for you to do exotic formations, for you to put four wide receivers, for you to put extra line, I mean, there's all sorts of things that you could do, that you could never do in the NFL because there's simply not enough room to do it. And I think Arthur Smith is, he's really enjoying what he's doing because what they want to do, is they want to make JJ Smith the fulcrum of the offense. They want the offense to revolve around through by, whatever you want to say, through JJ Smith. Much like in Tennessee, the offense of fulcrum was Derek Henry.

12:31And that's how they use it. And obviously, it seems more simplistic to use it through a running back. But if you get creative and you take advantage of these gigantic spaces that you have on the side, and what you can do, I mean, there's so many things that you can do to run other, because when you have other guys out there and they're running patterns, they can basically pick for JJ Smith. And I'm saying, you can block without blocking, or you can actually block for JJ Smith, or you can run him out of the back field, or you can run him out of the slot, or you can run him out of bunch formations, or you can isolate him and put guys on the other side, and get him set up in one on one. I mean, there's so many things that you can do because of these wider hash marks. And I just found that really, really fascinating in terms of that a guy like Arthur Smith would really pick up, and he's really hammering on that in terms of what to do, because you're hamstrung in the NFL just because of field configuration, you have a lot more advantages and a lot more opportunities to do exciting things

13:33on the God's fields, because of the width of the hash marks, I just found that really, really fascinating. And I thought that was one of the more interesting parts of this very, very interesting nugget today. Yep, I agree. And there's something that a lot of people don't talk about, because again, you're coming from the NFL down to the college game. You're going up against elite minds every week in the NFL, and now you're coming down to college, not saying there's not any elite minds in college, but come on, man. I mean, Arthur Smith, this is just another thing that he's salivating over to be able to take advantage of some of our NFL personnel. And so you're right, it's like the hash is like 20 yards from the sideline. That's a lot of room. That's a lot of real estate to work with. And so also with the, you know, it makes, when Defender, Defensive coordinator say make the, I'm sorry, offense coordinator say make the defense, you know, cover the whole 53 yards. This is literally that. And so Nevada, with this nugget

14:34and with this hashtag hashtag hash mark, I got my mind on social media, with this hash mark, you know, I guess situation that we're going to take advantage of, to me, this couple is really well with the emphasis. We talked about Cortez Hankton and Jeremiah Smith talking about yacch yards and improving on yacch yards and how they were not good as a Y receiver room. And Jeremiah Smith specifically said he was not good. And that's the number one thing he's working on. So working to get JJ Smith scheme to open more, using the entire field with the emphasis on yacch to me, sounds video game like, because he Nevada, I don't know if you heard the Hankton interviews, I'm like taking hitches 60 yards. Like that's what's, that's the goal. And they're not just talking about it, they're doing drills, they're working on techniques, specific things to help with this. So to me, I thought about that yacch stuff,

15:34when you, when I read this nugget, I'm like, ooh, that's a nice, you know what I'm saying? You could tell that there's a plan. Jeremiah Smith wants to go out with a bang specifically, because this is for the whole offense, but Jeremiah Smith is the is the linchpin here. And so I'm excited about that combination of Nevada, with this hash mark nugget with Jeremiah Smith and the yacch. Well, I think look, Jeremiah Smith clearly is going to be a guy that's going to put up some gotty numbers. It just was finally year to Ohio State. I think Ohio State wasn't happy with the fact that he didn't take a big jump forward last year, you know what I'm saying? Like you've got a guy who's got a transcendent talent. Like a judge had a great year by any measure, but was it, you know, was it the kind of year you would expect to have it out of a year or two, Jay, just methe, it really wasn't. And I think Arthur Smith is bound and determined, not to repeat the mistakes of the heart line, offense, a quarter in experience. But that doesn't mean the other guys aren't going to, aren't going to feast. That doesn't mean Parker isn't going to feast.

16:36That doesn't mean Brandon, Brandon Innis is a guy that could really feast in his offense as well. You know what I'm saying? Like Brandon Innis, for the first time, is running like he was running his scene. When he was a senior in high school, that was a five star guy, flew it up, and number one guy, and the number one wire receiver in the country, you know, just a dumb guy that was looked down to everybody as highly as Jay, Jay Smith is. Been a little hamster, been a little stiff. We've talked about that in the past, and you know, maybe a little muscle bound, running a lot more fluid this year. I think he's poised for a breakout year for the black guys. And I think in an offense like this, where they're featuring him, where they're doing stuff with Jay, Jay Smith, they're going to have other guys like that that are going to really take advantage of those one on ones. And when they're playing to the wide side of the field, when they're scheming to get stuff out on the open end of the field and play more in space, I think the wide receivers as a group are really going to do well. But I think Brandon, just in particular,

17:37is the guy you should be watching out for, because I think he's going to have a big year in Ohio State. Yeah, I like it. I like how you're, and listen, you know, you always evolve when you get more information, you know, you shift gears, and depending on the information, we all know you weren't that high on in this. But yes, we all agreed, regardless of what we thought, he needed to be a little more explosive, a little more fluid and all that. We saw some things last year. He played really well against Wisconsin, had a great catch in the back of the end zone. He scored against the team up north. Like we saw flashes of Brandon and his being, like making plays. It's like he's a good receiver. He was just a five star. He hasn't lived up to the five star hype yet. So yeah, I mean, him being an Iron Buckeye, and basically taking a leadership role, even more significantly this year, and basically calling his shot. He wants to be a first-rounder. He knows what it's gonna take.

18:37And so, I just wouldn't bet against this dude. I mean, I just, I love his leadership style. He's vocal, he's a fellow Brandon, be in his, and he's a leader. I told you, I went, I went to practice his last year. His leadership on the field was real. Regardless of what fans thought about him, the players and the coaches respect that dude. And so, yeah, I would not be surprised if he breaks out, because if he steps up and eats like that, I mean, Nevada, you know Kyle Parker, while you was in Buffalo, lost his black stripe. And McEwan has been doing well too. And I mean, we already know, we got a really good receiver room. And I believe Hank is going to rotate more than Heartline did. And so, I'm excited, I'm excited, but I'll just kinda dial it back and just say, if Brandon and his, let me see,

19:37I don't know how many yards he has. What do you think will be sufficient realistically for Brandon and his yards and touchdowns for to say, okay, he had a great year for him, because he's not JJ, he's not the number one, but what do you think of the top of the hit? Well, I think it's got to be, I mean, you know, and maybe this is aggressive, but I think he's got to be Karnel Tate, you know what I'm saying? I think, you know, I think that's who he's got to be. I mean, it's, you know, it's his time to step up and doing, he's been there, you've been there a bit, you know, clearly he's a team leader, clearly he's the guy, why not have 600, you know, yards receiving an eight-touch challenger? You know what I'm saying? I mean, you know, be that guy. You know, you're not going to be the bellcat. Now you're, you're not going to be a thousand-year receiver like JJ Smith, but there's no reason you can't be a 600, eight-touch down guy. And I think it's very, I think it's realistic. I think he's a guy that can do it. I think they want him to do it. But let me tell you, you know, we've talked about McCune, we've talked about Parker, you know,

20:40help him take the issue, came out to talk about Brock Boyd. How much he likes Brock Boyd, you know, which I know we're all excited to see him, just to be like, I think that guy was criminally underrated, kind of, I mean, I saw that Carol, but obviously, you know, while we're talking about the wire receivers, I just want to talk about all the transfers in general. This is a really good, I haven't heard on anybody that anybody's like a bust. You know what I'm saying? Like, there's nobody that's going while we got that guy, but, you know, can't play. And then that was kind of stuff that, you know, we've heard that in the past about guys, when the guys have come in and you know, they're like, oh, I'm not sure this guy can play. Richard Cutler, you know, that, that became, that was very obvious, really good and blessed. So, yeah, you know, I'm not hearing that about anybody. And that's a really good thing because I think the story of our success in 2026 is really going to be how good were our portal evaluations, how good were our portal acquisitions.

21:42Because there's such a big part of, you know, reloading this defense, you know, defense that lost so much great time. We're going to see how much great talent here very shortly at the NFL Traft. When we hear all these names called, you know, how much great time we lost off this Ohio State team, specifically on the defense side. But I think, I think they've reloaded really well with portal talent. Obviously, we've rooted well in the past. So we've got guys that have, you know, been on the roster of the captain retained, that have great as well. But it's very, very excited about this. I mean, as excited as I was about having Matt Patricia, on the defense last year, I'm not excited about Arthur Smith running the offense this year, because I think it's going to have a similar type of impact. And it's going to be those little changes where, you know exactly how you can put your finger on it, but you know something's different. I think that's what's going to be like for the, for the offense this year, just like it was for the defense in the previous one. Yeah, I agree. And I was talking to a buddy of mine earlier

22:42about the offense and how the offense may look this year. And we know Arthur Smith wants to run the ball. So I guess, now Nevada, you tell me, do you think a power spread look is sort of the terminology you would use without going into all the weeds of specifics and schematics? Would you say a power spread look is something Arthur Smith is going to basically lean on as far as primarily what we see out there? Before I continue, do you agree with that art? Yes, and I think that's what they ran when they had Tanya Hill and they had Derek Henry. You know what I'm saying? Like that is what they ran at Tennessee. And I, you know, I, I think that's the approach that Ohio State's going to be going to be taking in with the 2026 running game specifically for sure. Yeah, agree, agree. Okay, and that's what I said earlier. And so, you know, we've done well with power spread in the past at Ohio State and done some good things, especially with very good blocking tight ends.

23:43So yeah, man, I'm excited as well. And I know people in the chat, like is it, is it football yet? I think Hulsam and ADA said that, bro, listen, I'm with you. And look, tomorrow's April, the spring game is coming up. I'll be going, probably going to take my family to the spring game and check that out. I'm excited. And then of course, y'all know how it is. We're going to blink. It's going to be June and then we're going to blink. And then it's going to be fall camp by the start. You know what I'm saying? And it's just a beautiful thing. And the great thing is, again, we lost all these players. Some of our fan base just, you know, was ready to just jump off the ledge. But I think, Nevada, I think time will tell that the acquisitions we got in a lot of ways were upgrades or at the very minimum, like, you know, guys you could rely on, right? Because there were some guys that we lost that I wanted to see them. I wanted to see their career to continue.

24:44You know, I wanted to see Quincy Porter to see how good he would be. You know, Aaron Scott, those guys, like, hey, we wanted to see them progress, but things didn't happen that way. But I think the acquisitions we got with the experience and reps and talent and what we've been hearing so far is very, very, you know, just reassuring that things are on the right track, Nevada. Well, yeah, no, first of all, though, you're not on the right track. If you think tomorrow's April 1st, because tomorrow is March 31st. Oh, I'm sorry. Wednesday's April 1st. Yeah, if you're on that count, then you run out there and like, it's April 1st, guys. We're like, April 1st. No, it's April 1st. It's March 31 of March. But no, no, I agree with you. And I think that was one of the big things I was looking for, you know, out of the, you know, the first, because, you know, it's early spring, obviously had the break, you know, and so you, you know, you're just kind of getting into spring football. But you're starting to get a sense for what we have here, you know, you're starting to get a sense for what this team's about.

25:45And there's, there's a reason why they're ranked number one in the, you know, the S&P. You know what I'm saying? Like, this is gonna be a very, very good team. We just happen to have a very, very challenging schedule. But I, but I, from the people that I've talked to you right now, I think this team's ahead of schedule. I think this team's better in their eyes than they thought that it would be. And they thought it was gonna be good. They thought this, this was gonna be a special group here. We've talked about that in the past. But I think that, I think the transfer portal guides has kind of, they've kind of accelerated the development if it good, because you've got guys that are experienced veteran guys, older guys that have been through the wars. I think the teams better than they thought it would be at this point in time. And, you know, Julian St. obviously has not disappointed. You know, we knew he'd, he'd, it's not any breaking news to say, hey, Julian St. it's gonna be better his sophomore year than he was his freshman year. You know, that's not, well, thanks to Vada for that nugget.

26:46But, but he is. You know, he's better. He's noticeably stronger. He's thicker. He certainly has a, you know, a different outlook on playing. And Ryan seems to have a, a different outlook. You know, being willing to use his legs, much like Arthur Smith used Ryan Taneil's legs. They would run Taneil liberally at Tennessee, you know what I'm saying? So I don't think they're going to be afraid to use the quarterback in the running game opportunistically or strategically. And I think that's going to be something that, you know, the opposing teams are going to have to scheme for, because I know that's part of the plan. And I expect the offensive line to be a little leaner so they can, you know, go more play so they can go at a little higher pace. And, you know, they try to tire out those big defensive lines because the story of the season is going to be, run that power spread, get them hard with the running game, force those safeties up, and then hit them over the top of the path.

27:46That, I mean, that is good. That is the, that's the plan. And it sounds basic, but, you know, you've got to make them respect the run to do that, but Ohio State plans to do it. And if they, if they don't bring those guys up, they're going to keep pounding them with the run until they did. So that's kind of expected. We really can spare for Ohio State offense in 2026. For sure. And yes, you are correct when Star's aligned. Julian is now trash per the lunatic fridge. But no, yeah, can't wait to see Julian. Pulled in the trigger back there, spraying it around to all these great receivers. I'm excited to see Kyle Parker and McEwen, you know, just fresh blood, you know, the staff is high on them, they look good on film, they both got speed. And I mean, to me, it's just, I don't know. I didn't, I didn't realize, I'm wondering, Nevada, in hindsight, it almost feels like I'm more excited than I would have been if Graham and Porter stayed.

28:51And that's, I can't prove that. I can't, that's just hindsight. But see, the thing with violent Graham is, my land Graham, you could see talent, speed, explosiveness, but when the coach, the head coach comes out in press conferences and says he needs to be able to catch the ball consistently, especially 50, 50 balls. As a reason why he's not playing more in his what, second year, third year, whatever. You know, it's just like, okay, okay. Some guys progress differently, but, and then Porter was, was quite banged up. But I don't know. I mean, I guess what I'm saying is, I didn't expect to be this excited about this wide receiver room, specifically with the guys we lost. You know what I'm saying? I don't know if that makes sense, but that's just how I feel. And I'm excited about the depth of it, the new coach we have, not saying I'm, I'm happy Heartline is gone, but I'm happy that it seems like we got a really good

29:52replacement who can add a different flavor to the, to that room. And I think we're going to, it's one of those things because one last thing about it, I'm saying this to say that it kind of just flies in the face of the ding dong, the wiki, which is dead when Heartline left. Like, oh, the wide receiver was like, I was like, nah, it does it. There's no evidence that we're, that we're veering off, Nevada. Well, no, there's definitely no evidence that we're veering off, but there's, there's a decided, I mean, when Hank didn't, when Hank didn't came in, the one thing he, if he had one criticism of the Austin receiver room, was he thought that it lacked big speed. You know what I'm saying? He thought that there should be more of an emphasis on speed out of wide receivers. And that's why when they went out there and went out, they got McEwen, they got Parker, they got guys that can run. You know what I'm saying? And ordering Graham, you know, Graham obviously had, you know, a number of different issues

30:52and those issues continue at Notre Dame. I heard, yeah. You know, so, you know, so you've got a situation where, as good as our wide receiver room, you can always improve, you know what I'm saying? You can always improve. You can always get a first set of eyes can do it, but the first set of eyes basically came and said, look, we need to be faster. We need to be faster. We need to be more explosive and that, and that seems to be kind of a theme for the offense this year, the offense. It's all, and you hear this throughout the spring from all the coaches, from all the players we're talking about this more plays, more explosive plays. They believe that they run more plays, it'll lead to more explosive plays. They can wear down the defenses. They can, you know, kind of do things, but they want the explosive. They want the explosive plays on offense. They want the explosive plays on defense. They want the negative plays, the sacks, the turnovers, the tackles for law. You know what I'm saying? That's what they're looking to do with this team. They're looking to be more explosive as a football team in 2026 and they were in 2025. And like they were darn good in 2025. Could have been the national champion really close,

31:55but as I talked about at the beginning of the show, sports is cruel sometimes. Sports is cruel and sometimes you just come up short and that's where the buck is. The buck is just came up short, but that's something you throw everything out, but you do learn from it, you look at it, you see what you can refine. And I think, you know, for Ohio State, they want to be more explosive on both sides of the ball and having guys like the Cune Parker, I like it because I think our, I think our offense will feel different because of that added speed on the outside. No, I agree. I think our offense will be better this year. So Nevada, I want to let you go first. What is the toughest position in football to play in your opinion? Yeah, I mean, toughest is, you know, that's, you know, that means a lot of different things. So I'm going to say I'll give you one position in offense, one position on defense. I'll say on offense, it's quarterback. I mean, the amount of processing that a quarterback has to do, the windows that they have to throw into, the amount of impact that they have on the game is so disproportionate to anything else.

36:01So I'll say quarterback in offense and defense. And this may be the toughest position. It's it's cornerbacks. I don't know how any cornerback, like you said there, you got to guard the best player in the country backwards. You're running backwards, you know what I'm saying? Like, like, I don't know how they do it and not touch them and not use your hands and not touch them. And so yeah, you know, they're all tough in their own ways, but yeah, I'm going to go with quarterback and offensive and quarterback and defense finally answer for Nevada book. Yeah, I hear you corner was always my first quick go to because that's just brutal. But then over time, as the defensive ends I've gotten freakier, my mind's thinking, hey, it might be left tackle. It might be a tackle on the island. I mean, that's tough going against some of these guys, but I would agree corner tackle position against these freaks and then quarterback. Those are the hardest positions, period chat.

You want to say what the ultimate goalie. I mean, that's like quarterback kicker and everything rolled into one. You know, that it's just, it's just, it's just so new. Literally on you. It is literally on you. So yeah, but anyway, yeah. So yeah, 12 pounds, I'm a, I'm fasting buck now, I'm trying to fast. Absolutely, you got to shed that quick before the end day.

Because I feel like he's going to be the one to step up and be the premier blocking tight end this season. Arthur Smith, we're going to run wide zone. We're going to really try to run downhill, okay? The tight ends in 12 personnel. That's huge with that. And I believe Bennett Christian is going to be a key cog in that.

40:09And on defense, I mentioned this before, Jayla McClain is not getting enough love. Earl Little is getting more buzz than Jay Timmons. You know what I'm saying? McClain is a really good silent safety. That's my guy that not many people are talking about on defense. Nevada, did you have to that you would have thought there? Brock Boyd, an offense. And just because nobody's talking about Brock Boyd, you know, when you were talking to the White receivers, it's like J.J. and Ennis and Bacune and Parker. And you know, you know, I just have a feeling this, I think he's going to have a game son to block it up again, not just because he's white, but just because he's going to come in kind of unheralded. And you know, Dane was nobody was expecting much out of Dane. He turned out to be a dog. Man, that guy, he was really good football player. I think, I think Brock's got a similar type of makeup. And I just think, I just think Brock's one of those kids that can really play. On defense, I'm going to go with Leroy Roker. I think, you know, he's a guy that we've mentioned before,

41:10but I don't think a lot of people are talking about him just because we brought guys in, but I'm telling him with good football player, really, really good football player. And the staff loves that kid. So Leroy Roker, Brock Boyd, my two unheralded players. Yeah, we mentioned Boyd earlier, I'm sorry, yesterday. And it's funny, I brought up Sands and Bacher. Whenever I think of Sands and Bacher, I think of Grootan. I don't know if you remember that clip from John Grootan. He's like, Dane Sands and Baka. I used to say like, I don't know who I remember that clip. I remember that. Yeah, but Dane was nice, man. Dane was nice, great route runner, smooth. I mean, Scotty came when he first came in here and end up being a player. So that's a good call out for sure, for sure. All right, we'll be got next. 42:15Well, I remember last year when I said before season that we'd have two guys invited in New York and that kind of got laughed at, you know what I'm saying? And I mean, you know, that was kind of a crazy thought, but no, I think Julian should win it this year. And I think Julian's gonna win it this year. You know, I think he's a guy that's, he's gonna be a great NFL player. You know, I say that he's undervalued by a house they fans, but he won't be by the end of the year. He's gonna be a legend by the time he's done here. I mean, he's so good, he's so talented, he's so polished, and now he's got an adult in the room coaching him. Yes. I think it's gonna make a world of difference for Julian saying his development. Man, that matters. That matters. And the adult in the room, and no shade of Brian Hardly, but we all know we had to make it happen for him as the OC, was he the worst OC in the world as a first year guy? No, but he wasn't up to the standard. He wasn't Chip Kelly in it. You filming, he wasn't Ryan Day in it. And then you mixed that with a freshman quarterback,

43:17and then you mixed that with not finishing the season, like, you know, without distractions, that's something, as Nevada would say. So next year, I mean, another year of experience, and then the season with heartbreak and disappointment, bringing in a NFL guy. I mean, yeah, bro. Go ahead and sleep on Julian if I want to. Dude, I'm mad, thanks for the 10. Nevada, your thoughts on the Goldie coming to a house, stay, apparently she is not as good as your daughter. Wow, this game right out with it. Right. That, I mean, look, the girl named Rowan, and she's great. She's one of my daughter's best friends, and a great kid, Canadian. And I know Muzz likes those Canadian. Muzz is Canadian. She likes those Canadian girls. And Rowan's terrific. Rowan played on Team Canada this year. So, you know, my daughter and her are playing against each other, the world's obviously going to play the game that she had at the last two years. So, Rowan's terrific. 44:20has to, it's tough because they don't usually play you very much early. And so she's got to be patient and wait a turn. And I think that's the big difference for my daughter going to Penn State is I think she's going to get to play early. But no, Rowan's terrific. And she just needs to stick it out and get it done. Yep, I mean, you know, they're both playing at a high level, obviously clearly. So, you know, I'm sure they all got love for each other as teammates and whatnot. That doesn't always happen though. But I'm telling Goldie dynamics are really interesting because you can have Goldies and hate each other. And we've been in those situations and it sucks. And I think that's one of the, that's so nice that these two Goldies, you know, that are both obviously high level Goldies really like genuinely root for each other, genuinely like each other. And I think it's really made the last two years really special. Shaddick so much love for Rowan for sure. Yeah, now I have no insight on hockey stuff like that.

45:21So thank you for that because all I know is the sports I've played, but that's good. That's definitely good then. Do you want to play with anybody you didn't like? No, I'm saying like you say Goldie like specifically. No, no, I'm just saying that he had just like, with Goldies, so it's just, you know, because it's like, you don't want to be out there and have the other person sit not on the bench for you to give up goals, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, like you know, you know what I'm saying? Like you don't want to sit there and he's kind of going, Oh, I'm ready for the team, but secretly in my heart, I'm like, I hope you give up a goal right now. You know, I hope you lose in the coach, like you want something, you want to just, and you know what, when it happens, you know what I'm saying? Yeah, like you just want to feel like that person's really rooting for you and it takes special people to really, you know, even if they're sitting on the bench to root for the other person because it's hard, man, it's hard when that happens, you know, so. Yeah, overall, I've had some pretty good teammates all my life. I mean, there's no one I really hate it. There was just some cat I just didn't trust because they just weren't, they weren't reliable. This is like the talent that they have is like, the little talent you have,

46:24you, we can't trust you because you're going to blow the assignment or you're not going to execute or you're not that type of stuff. But yeah, I mean, listen, I know there's dynamics in the locker room and every sport, it's always good to have that type of sisterhood, you know, in this, in this situation. I have trouble like watching like the beginning of the games, because I just want to get it to the end of the game so I can kind of walk even in that not Ohio state. So again, you know what I'm talking about, like when you're watching a tip, like a regular season NBA game and you're kind of like, okay, it's two to two. Can we just get to 96, 96, and that's what playing, you know what I'm saying? But football, man, I don't want to miss a freaking minute. You know what I'm saying? Like I, you know, I'm saying, like I do not want to miss a minute of a football game. And they don't last long enough for me. There's six but eight goalies. I mean, obviously, you know, it's spatial relations. So bigger goalies are the bigger advantage because they can fill up more than that. And yeah, you know, the interesting thing is that, you know, the net is regulation size. So my daughter has to cover the same net that a grown man, you know, six foot six man in the NHL guards, you know what I'm saying? Even though, you know, you know, I'm saying it's just, it's a, so I look, I've always had the idea. I'm not, the salt tell you to start really quick. So when the Columbus Blue Jackets were an expansion team, I met with the president of the Columbus Blue Jackets who I've known for a long time when we were talking, we're having dinner. And I said, I got an idea for you, you're an expansion team, but go out and get that big fat guy, that 1200 pound guy and just stuff them into the net. And no, no team will ever be able to score on you guys.

49:28And I, I sure if it was pitching this idea to him, and I think he thought about it for a little bit, but I don't think he could ever pull it off. But yeah, can you imagine you get like a big fat guy and just stuff them into the net? Like when they had that thing with the whale, they had the guy cook them or whatever they had like the whale or whatever it was, or whatever that thing was, like the big wall wrist or the big wall. Yeah. I mean, it sounds logical. I mean, yeah, you fill that, right? That makes sense. Yeah. I mean, leave a, leave a little crack for the, you know, the shooter to get it in there. But, but yeah, I guess from the height standpoint, your knees and, and being able to be flexible to get down quick.
