I love days like these at the pool, but my moderate to severe plaque rise is can sometimes take me out of the moment. I'm ready to make a splash with clear skin thanks to SkyRizzy, Rizzenkizm Ab Rizza. SkyRizzy is a prescription only injection for adults who are candidates for systemic or phototherapy. At four months most people saw 90% clear skin when measured from head to toe and many were even 100% plaque free. People also saw significant improvement in psoriasis symptoms of pain, redness, itching and burning. Don't use if allergic to SkyRizzy. Serious allergic reactions increased infections or lower ability to fight that may occur. Before treatment get checked for infections and tuberculosis tell your doctor about any flu-like symptoms or vaccines. Now there's nothing on my skin thanks to SkyRizzy and that means everything. Ask your doctor about SkyRizzy. The number one dermatologist prescribed biologic in psoriasis. Visit SkyRizzy.com or call 1-866 SkyRizzy to learn more. three RIP Demetrius Stanley and Michael Thomas Days until a house they place football again. Man, but for real, let's just say one quick word about Demetrius Stanley. Underrated receiver here, great personality. He was on the local sports channels here with Anthony Rothman, making me laugh every week because he would always get under Anthony Rothman's skin. I met him in person. Great dude. He passed away three years ago. Number three, go watch the Rose Bowl against Arizona State. He made some great plays. God bless you, Demetrius Stanley and the family. But three days until a house they place again. Listen, do me a favor, hit the like button, then that subscribe button, and then hit the bell notification so you're notified whenever we go live. All right, we're going to be talking about how this or how a state team feels different in 2026. We're going to talk about that examin' that.

Also, Coach Day, hit the mic again tonight along with a few players, got some quotes, got some updates, and some confirmations about Saturday, which is very exciting. We're going to get into that. We're going to look out for them because they always look out for us. Nevada Buck, what's up, man? How you feeling? Happy Wednesday evening. I was feeling good until I just realized and remembered that the major family is no longer with us. And that makes me sad. I mean, that really makes me sad. I mean, he was a terrific player and always such a nice guy and I have such fond memories of him, playing out there

and that does remind you to never take anything from granted, enjoy every day, hug your loved ones and rest in peace, though, the meters you're great by time. Absolutely. Big smile. He was just, he was just a fun dude and a really good player. So, yeah, definitely wanted to shout him out. Obviously, Michael Thomas was really good here, but wanted to show him some love. But yeah, man. So how are you feeling? More player interviews today? Some interesting quotes, updates, all that good stuff. We'll get into the depths of that in a moment, but how you feel in initially right now, Nevada, about everything? Well, you know, this week's been smooth. You know, it's been a smooth week and it's always nice to hear in these interviews confirmation of what we've been told and what we've been saying. And yeah, I think, you know, not not a lot of surprises. I think this time of year, you don't want surprises. You don't want anything out of the blue. You don't want anything out of the ordinary. You don't want you just want boring. I just want boring and nothing

eventful and this fall camp's been nothing amazing. You know, no, for a standpoint of no big injuries knock on wood, you know, no big crash outs, no big, you know, issues with players. And so, man, it's been about a smooth sailing as you could possibly hope heading into the 2026 season, probably more so than you can hope. So that's been nothing but great means all the way around. I would agree. And something else that's pretty smooth, is this apparel from our great partner, Backer. Look at this clean quarter zip jacket. The young lady is rocking and this young man, Backer. I even like the hoodie. I like the like to me, let me just go on a 10 second rant. I'm a hoodie person. Y'all, I love hoodies. But sometimes depending on the company, the hoodie can mess it up. Like actual hood, I like this hood. It's like shaped to your head.

And the the jackets and apparel are top notch as far as quality and everything. But Nevada, what's up, brother? How you feeling about Backer? Because now as I keep clicking through here, I want more stuff. Because I got the coat. I got the big coat here that I can't wear yet. I have the same feeling. And for some people, you go to bckr.com. If you want to buy something, it's you scoop 10 at checkout. But I'm saying it literally is the we wouldn't have taken them as a sponsor. We've been really selective about who we're going to. We're looking for either interesting technology, national brands or some sort of premium outdoor apparel. And we found it with this company. And they're just it's the really, really good stuff. It's the best looking Ohio State apparel that I've ever I've ever owned. And I love this stuff. It's going to be unbelievable when the winter starts getting a little bit colder. And if you want to wear something for cold weather and repble how to say stuff, this is the best of bckr.com. Don't forget scoop 10

at checkout. Get you 10% more off. And that's good because this stuff isn't cheap. But you know, in life, the one thing I've learned in life b is sometimes expensive is worth it. And in this case, this stuff is this stuff is definitely worth it. Yep, definitely clean apparel can't wait to rock mine. But it was 96 today in Columbus. Oh my goodness. Yes, it's yeah. So but the other thing real quick, I told y'all how weather to me is is crazier than most regions. And you know, because it's right now it's supposed to rain on Saturday. Now I'm hoping it moves out. I don't want nothing to turn from this offense. You know, scoring scoring points. But right now it's looking to rain all this heat and humidity. Obviously, you know, rain is going to come. So we'll see things may change but it is blazing hot here in Columbus today. Nevada. Well, man, if rain comes in, you know,

spend this hot, it could be like real rain. Like it could be serious rain. Man, you know what I'm saying? Yeah. So yeah, that'll be interesting. Well, you're you're you're doctor boy. You're supposed to be all over this stuff. You know what I'm saying like that. I depend upon you for for dependable weather reporting. So what what are you calling for for game dance Saturday? That's that's the report. Like I'm telling you what happens right now. So you want me to make a prediction on what's going to happen? Oh, are you calling for rain? Is being Moses calling for rain on Saturday? I'm saying right now it looks like there's going to be rain. But I'm listening, I'm Moses. I'm lifting my staff in the air and I'm asking the good Lord to part the clouds. So there's no rain on Saturday or at least let it rain in a morning and then move out in the afternoon. Or how about rain at night? It could rain Saturday night, right? Yeah, that's too. Just not during the game. You know what I'm saying? Like, you know, it's opening weeks week one. I want a

beautiful pristine day in a shoe with that beautiful new turf. Those beautiful new uniforms with the you know stripes. That's what I want. So we're gonna see we're gonna see man. Friday I'll make a final call on the show. How about that? I'll be looking forward to it. All right, so let's get into the topic at hand. Nevada. We got HT with another great post the helping technician talking about how this OSU feel. Team feels different in 2026. And we've kind of been. That's a summary of what we've kind of been alluding to based off of what we've been hearing and what we've been seeing with this team after this point. And it just feels special. So Nevada, you want to kick this off HT when he was talking about and we can just kind of discuss it. Well, yeah, he was talking. You know, he's talking about, you know, how every team has a unique field to it. Every team, you know, when you've been around on how's their football for, you know,

as long as he has you get kind of a sense for what kind of a squad you're gonna have and and that doesn't necessarily foot to good, bad, successful, not successful, but each team has a it's own identity as it were. And he used to talking about how how unique the feeling has been around this camp and how he was putting his fingers on, you know, he's like, it's been a number of different things. But one of the first things that he had identified is how this isn't a team of stars in 2026. And he talked about how JJ Smith, you know, JJ, you know, while in our opinion, is one of the finest fighters he was ever played the game. Maybe the best fighters he would have ever played on his day. Never want to bullet Nick off. Not really a holler guy doesn't really say a lot. You know, I'm saying doesn't have a huge personality. So this is not a team that's really defined by its star players. And you know, for Ohio State, Ohio State, no one for having a lot of

star power, you know, it's Ohio State football. But this team as good as it is, as number one is it is, it's really kind of devoid of a lot of stars, you know, it's just got a lot of really, really good players. And that's kind of a unique item. And I think that's, you know, that's why you end up in a situation where you have as many captains as they have, you know, I'm saying that, you know, you've got, it's a bunch of different guys kind of representing. We've talked about in the past, how you've got so many new faces between the transfer portal guys in the transfer portal kids that went out, the new freshmen that are coming in, you know, such a game ready bunch of freshmen. So it's really just a unique feel in terms of you've got this number one on Ohio State team that a lot of people are picking them in the national championship and sort of make noise and and coach up all, but it really, it's really devoid of stars. And I found, I just found that

a really kind of interesting observation. And then, you know, he moved on to how close the group is. And the ocean delights us as playful otters restore coastal kill forest. The ocean teaches us how our choices impact even the deepest places. The ocean connects us. Visit monoraybayacorium.org slash connects. Football is back. Yep, you heard correctly. Football is back. CalShi's own CEO says it himself. Any of the few thirds of people on CalShi lose money. So what does it take to be in the other third? You have to do extensive amount of research to be good. There are people that spend copious amount of money, time, resources, energy, dedicated their lives to basically becoming good at this. All that and still. Any of the few thirds of people on CalShi lose money. That's CalShi in their own CEOs words. Go to www.fairpredics.com to learn more. How tight the group is, you know, people asked about the 2024 group and you know the 2024 group of current NHG was, you know, like great kids, you know, the guys that came back, the 15, 16 guys that came back for one last swing were incredibly tight

in that group, but had never really connected with a younger one. You know, and they were kind of two camps. And again, not necessarily a bad thing, just a thing. That's just going to what it was. You had a situation where you had, you know, not competing things for the intention, but it was just two different groups. And he's just talking about how tight this group is and how it's kind of a seamless integration between everybody. And I think it is a tribute to the fact that the freshman have come and you talked about Jay Timmin's coming in saying, I'm going to start off the rip. Chris Hennett Jr., I'm going to be a player right off the Brock Boy. I'm going to play, you know, right? You know what I'm saying? Like I think it's, these guys are also game ready. I think they've kind of garnered the respect of the older guys. And you know, they've really made a point to kind of embrace these transfer portal guys as well. And what you've ended up with is just an incredibly tight knit group that's really about the team. And I think, you know, he used

these, it's palpable how close this group is and I can feel that. And that's the kind of stuff that's, you know, it's going to, you know, it's going to sustain you and carry you through such a difficult schedule that they seem to really be embracing and leaning in the fact that they've got, you know, they're not shying away from the fact that they've got a difficult schedule. You know, they're not going into the old, you know, coach, peak, we're going to play it one game at a time and we're going to do one week at a time. We're not going to look at that. They know they've got tough schedule. And they're leaning into it. And I think when you've got such a tight group, you know, when you face some adversity, which you inevitably will play in a schedule as hard as this, that this, it can get you through. And that tightness can, you know, it can, you know, smooth out some rough spots and can really help you kind of overcome and, and you know, lead you some great success. But he just talked about how tight the group is. And, you know, he talked about how different it is to have two NFL coaches that have complete control of their groups because it really thrust Ryan Day into a CEO role, which is he's really most

comfortable in that. But Ryan Day does at this point in his career does not want to be coaching quarterbacks. He doesn't want to be the offensive coordinator. Not that he's not capable. He doesn't want to be doing that. And right now Ryan is, you can tell this is one relaxed dude. I mean, if you can be sitting or sipping him a mosa during these interviews, he would do it because like, he is just, he's relaxed. And he's kind of really, you know, it's soaking in the fact that he's got these two, you know, former NFL head coaches running his offensive different. He's got a special teams coach for the first time in every, you know what I'm saying? So he had to worry about it. He can sit back and just be, you know, the big dog. And it just, you know, again, different feelings all the way. Now, I feel like I'm talking so much. So I'm going to throw it to you for a little bit. Then I'll go back for more. But what do you think about that, that, be when you read it for the first time for the help of technician? Yeah. I mean, it's funny when

I read it, not, not long after I saw the interview today with Ryan Day, when one of the reporters said, Hey, Ryan Day or Coach Day, you look, you seem to be so relaxed. But then he kind of changed his comment to, you know, because you know, coach, I'm not relaxed. I'm not happy, you know, but he said you look relaxed. And I thought about the HT nugget. But what Ryan Day said is he has more energy because as a coach, you know, even if you are relaxed, you don't want to say your relaxed because that that's bad wording, right? That's not a good way of saying things because people are going to take that the wrong way. But he said, I've got, he said I certainly have more energy because I have these two head coaches at my disposal. I don't have to like, I'm not being poured on so much. I just need to just govern and make, you know, so that's just great to me. Again, we've been talking about yesterday. We talked about the glee. And I was, I was chuckling when you said glee because I just, I told you why yesterday, but it's so true. Coach Day, have we,

have we seen Coach Day be this calm, relaxed and confident leading into a season opener? I can't, I can't remember him being this cool. And that's not to mean that he's just like kind of just sitting back and just not doing what he's supposed to do. No, it's a lot different. You know, Nevada, you've said you, you know, you own restaurants and things like that. How confident and comfortable are you when you know you got a great staff managing your restaurant as opposed to a terrible staff? I don't know if that's a good comparison. But I mean, right? No, it is a great great. It's, it's, look, when you've got, when you, when you, when you know your holding aces, man, you can be really cool at the table, you know, and you're sitting like he knows these old and aces, he can sit back and do it. And I've never seen him like this. I'm that usually Ryan kind of gives off a kind of frenetic kind of, I'm not saying nervous energy because nervous energy would be like John Cooper, but definitely kind of high strung kind of tents that has hurt

kind of, you know, surly kind of edgy kind of guy. He ain't that guy. This should have been. Yeah. He ain't, you know, and, and part of that's being the elder statesman part of that's being the fact he's got a national championship under his belt. He's not worried about playing for his job every week. You know, but that's going to be a great comfort to him because the Ohio State is, you know, it's a tough place to coach. And the worst thing you can have is when you're insecure in any way about your standing, your future, the present, anything like that because, you know, you know, that if you go out there and you lose that, you know, people could start calling for your head. Well, Ryan's at the point in his life, professional life, whatever, where he's like, you know, you're not really, you're going to call for my head like really, you know, I'm saying, like he knows. And that's a good thing. That's not a bad thing. He doesn't need, nobody needs to be coaching me that kind of pressure man. Nobody, nobody needs to be operating into that kind of pressure. You know yourself, you when you're working, you don't need to be working thinking, oh,

if I don't do good, today, I'm going to get fired. Right. And I'm saying, like, that who works well in that environment? Nobody. Yeah. No, for sure, for sure. And so, you know, I mean, we're a few days away from the hit in the field. And so all this build up, all these things we're observing, I just can't wait to see it in action. So which leads me to an update from today, which correlates with this nugget from HD is that Arthur Smith, and I see some debate in the chat, will be on the sideline. He will be calling plays on the sideline, which begs the question, who will be in the booth? I have a few guesses who'll be in a booth. But Nevada, we should talk to that. Now just caveat, he's an NFL coach. From my understanding, he's always been on the sidelines, calling plays. So wish your thoughts on Arthur Smith on the sidelines. Well, I know that was an open item of debate. They had talked about this for a long time going back and forth. And you know, you're right.

You know, he's always been on the sidelines. He prefers to be on the sidelines. But, you know, they even tried it a couple of practices where he just doesn't like it up in the booth. I personally do not understand any off its accordion or cannot be in the booth first more because when I'm on the sideline at a football game, it looks like a mosh pit to me. It looks like I get like you can't see the guys on the other end. You don't have the over review. So you better trust the people that do have that to get that information you quickly and, you know, completely so you can understand in real time what's going on because you've got to play call due in 15 seconds. So when it's like whatever it is and you got to go up and make this thing happen. So I've heard that I'm not sure I'm excited about that news. But at the end of the day, I don't care. I just want to put points to the board. I don't care how they do it. Put points on the board. But from my money, I prefer he be up in the box. So that's just my humble opinion.

No, I feel you to me, it's the safest bet. You know, you want the guy that's pulling a trigger on the plays to be the eye in the sky, right? I mean, that just makes sense. However, obviously they feel comfortable with him being on the field. Somebody in the chat said he can look his quarterback in the eye. That's a sage Ohio. He can talk to his QB face to face. He can get after that online along with Boeing. I mean, I get it. I definitely get it, especially if you were successful in the NFL doing that. But yes, I mean, for my money, I would want my old coordinator in the booth. But I'm fine with it. I'm sure they have a system. He's very experienced. So it doesn't matter to me either way. But there's some other updates I want to talk about from tonight. Okay. And I'm going to pull up a little visual. But the punt returners and kick returners have been announced. Okay. At punt return. And you know what?

It's funny. Two things. I didn't think about this person on punt return because I was just so fixated on another person. But I'm going to have to alter my prediction slightly based off this breaking news. So Brandon and it's at punt return. That's no surprise. We knew that was going to happen. Devon McEwen at punt return and then Philip Bell. So those are the three at punt return at kick return. Legend Bay, baby. Legend Bay will be back there kick return. How many opportunities will he have? Maybe just one after the has. If we defer or if we take the ball for whatever, he'll have at least one opportunity to to return kicks. So what's your thoughts on that Nevada? You know, with the with the punt return kick return lineup? Well, you know, the punt return, you know, obviously like they've got a big cadre of

wide receivers that can all catch the ball. And then clearly they want somebody who can catch the ball back in a punt return. And that's the number one priority for them is, you know, with these high kicks that everybody does, make sure you catch the ball because nothing can flip a game quicker. As you remember, even for your old heads, remember back the the Clemson bowl game and we lost when Philly Brown dropped that punt. And when we were like, we were just getting ready to put it on Clemson and the a little bit of a cool against those guys. But now, now I'm kick returns. You know, look, we've been telling you guys how dangerous Legend Bay is, you know, and how fun Legend Bay is with us. So now on a team of alphas on a team of fast guys, high school, five stars, great, whatever they're putting Legend Bay on the kickoff. And kickoff, you know, that's the time when you actually have a chance to return it because you're back the other teams want 60, 70 yards

away. And you get the ball, but that that's as much open field as anybody gets in the entire game by design. You get on a kickoff front. And who are they picking to put back there? Legend Bay. So when we tell you about his game breaking ability, when we talk about his open field ability, no, it's not just hype or it's not just home PM or whatever, Ohio State sees it just the same way we do. And that's why they're putting him back there as the kick returner. It's great. He's like, like you said, we hope we only see him back there one time, but when we do, it's going to be fine. He'll take it back to why. If Adam Carey's five yards deep in the end zone, he's taking that thing back. You watch. Oh, yeah, for sure. So, so yesterday, my prediction was for Legend Bay to return a punt return for a touchdown. Well, I have to alter my prediction to a kick return for a touchdown slight alteration, but I'm going to stick with that. And I said 150 all perpish yards. And so there's that now also real quick about Legend Bay. Luke Montgomery,

because we have we have all these comparisons and descriptions about legend Bay, right? This whole off season, we heard, you know, coach, Locklin say it was like art watching him run. Ryan Day caught him a poor man's Thai reg Williams, a Thai re kill. What do I think about? And then Luke Montgomery, today said he saw Antonio Brown in person in like NFL camp. And he said he compared Legend Bay's speed to Antonio Brown. Now, I listen, Antonio Brown is a crazy person, okay? But on the field, that dude was a dog and he was fast, fast. And so all of these, you know, superlatives and descriptions of this young man has been to no end. And now he's at kick return and not only kick return, he's going to get some some snaps into game on some level. I'm not exactly sure what they're going to roll out on Saturday as far as any packages,

but he's going to play. And so this is why he was my number two on our list of, you know, most excited to see play. This is why he was my number two. Bo Jackson was my number one. But because he's going to get a lot of touches and he's just getting slept on. But I'm excited about Legend Bay, Nevada. And this just made me even more excited with this kick return news. I can't believe you said that he's a crazy person like Antonio Brown, man. That's like, I'm like, man, this guy's just, he's just an 18 year old kid. They're being, you know, even say, nobody is crazy as Antonio Brown. Not too many. That can't is, is yeah, he's out there. But he was a dog on that field. There's just no denying that. Yeah, you can't deny his talent. There's no question about that. Now legend's going to be so much, he's going to be so much fun. You know, we're, we've talked about what we're looking forward to most. And he, him, him getting the, him with the ball in his hands is going to be something that's going to be so much fun to watch. I can't wait to see it.

Yeah, so, so let me ask before we move off from Legend Bay. So let's, let's put it out there and, and kind of guess and predict. The ocean moves us. Outside of kick return. What is the first snap or how is he going to be used? Is he going to get a hand off from the backfield? Is he going to get a jet sweep? Is he going to get like a screen? Are they going to motion him out from the backfield to the slot and throw it to him? What is your prediction chat? I want you all to predict what is legend-based first touch going to be outside of kick return. What you got in the bottle? I'm just going to be a screen pass. I'm saying it's going to be a screen pass. I'm going to go with jet sweep or end-around. I think they're going to do something like line him up in the backfield and then motion him to the slot and then bring him on a jet and give it to him around the edge. That is my prediction. But we'll see. Either way, I cannot wait. If he gets one just any opening, I think he's going to kill it. He's going to kill it, man. They're going to try

to get him in space as much as possible to let him work, man. We're going to see. Look at it. Look at Lacklund. It's like art when he runs. I'm like, we've got to see this, man, because they pumped this kid up something crazy. Speaking of pumping up, and I want to move on to the next thing here, as far as hype and you know, superlatives and just adoration. That's Jay Timins. You mentioned earlier, Nevada, because we were talking backstage. Devon Sanchez, the corner, was talking about how Jay Timins was on his recruiting visit. He made a prediction. I'm going to pull it up, Nevada. But as a matter of fact, let me pull it up and play it first. It's a short clip. So just just the heads up. Nevada with the clips. I know sometimes the clips give you a sound issues, but here it comes just a second. Here we go.

Physicality wise. Jay's done a lot to the first, you know, everybody. Not just us, but also the offensive coaches too. He's still out there, physicality wise, physical. You know, just going out there and touching the ball, making plays on the ball. You know, just as a freshman, you know, that's what you got to do to be felt. You know, and if you want to be on the field, that's what you got to do. That's what you're doing. He's making it known that, you know, that he's going to be on the field. And you know, we got a lot of trust in him. We caught him in a lot. You know, we got to come up and make some big plays along with myself and I was your main. So just go out there and just compete. Did you get the sense from him that he was going to do that right away? Like, when he got on the campus, did you realize this guy is going to push a plane? I knew when I was his host on his recruiting that, you know, he was going to come here, you know, make a difference. He also told me when he was recruiting, like, hey, damn, you know, I'm going to start a high state my first year. I'm like, bro, it's hard, but you know, you can come here and do it. And that's what he's doing. He's making it known. I just told him that like last week, I'm like, baby, you're telling me that when he was

recruiting, he's like, yeah, and I'm like, man, he is true now. So it's like, let's go out here and do it. See, that's what I'm talking about, man. That right there, Nevada is a dog mentality. These are the type of kids that we attract. Okay. Yard heard Devon Sanjay saying on his visit, he hosted Jay Timons on his visit and Jay Timons told him he was going to start as a freshman. And that's what he's about to do. Start as a freshman, which obviously is extremely hard to do, especially at that position. And so dog mentality, and this is why I love the standard that Ryan Day has set when he talked about, hey, you know, and people took it the wrong way. He said, you know, if you don't have a first round, you know, basically, he was saying, if you don't have a mentality of you want to be a first-rounder, this is not the place for you. And so that's the mentality I have. And by the way, just to remind people and shout out to Dev, the Jay Timons is going to start

information we had that in the beginning a long time ago. I noticed some folk trying to know. We had that Jay Timons information. Before I saw anybody talking about him starting, just FYI for y'all. But anyway, yeah, he's a dog. I cannot wait to see him play. There's so much respect in Nevada from the players and coaches for this young man. It's just it's amazing how much respect he's commanding as a true freshman at that position. Nevada. Well, you just think about, you mean, like every position on the field requires a certain level of confidence, you know, I'm saying, but none more so than defensive back, you know, I'm saying, like you better have the swagger, you better have the aura, you better have the confidence when you're out there. Because frankly, I've talked about this before, but I don't know how anybody plays that position. Yeah. Okay, here you go cover, you go cover, Jay, Jay, spiff, he's going to run a four three. He knows where he's going and you can't touch him. You know what I'm saying? Oh, okay, you know, good luck and you got to order back the door.

But don't touch him. Otherwise, that's a penalty. I mean, like, I don't know how these guys do it, but yeah, Jay is a guy. I don't think just because the way his recruiting recruitment came down, I think people were kind of like, oh, yeah, okay, let's create. We got the AT&T. Yeah, you know, but like, I don't think they realized how big it was. I mean, this was a, he was the ground jewel of that force that reporting class and the imprinted come over here, do his thing. Team that's preseason number one calls his shot and now whether he's starting first guys out there, whatever it is, I mean he's up there. You know, HT talked about how on defense, we have like 20 starters. Depending on situationally, are we in the nickel? Are we in the big nickel? Are we in the three linebacker? Are we in the bear front? What are we in? We've literally got 20 kids who could be out there at the beginning when it was happening. So that's certainly unique and Jay has certainly put himself into the rear rear of a freshman that can come in Ohio State

and do it right away. And he's a special one. Yeah, definitely. You're right. I mean, he definitely wasn't getting the praise and you know, big old celebration as some others got when he committed, but huge pickup for sure. So definitely exciting. And I'm trying to think there was some other little tidbits and things from the interviews. And I'll take a look at my notes, but we can always get to that. I wanted to, before we get to super chats, I wanted to mention something. We've been talking about this for weeks now. And it just seems like the drum beat is just getting louder with the Julian saying slander. Nevada. I just wanted to take a few moments to discuss this. And you know what? Let me play. I'm going to play a clip. I'm about to play a short clip from Ryan Day to kind of set the tone for what I'm about to say or about to talk about. Because to me,

it's just, it's just beyond ridiculous. But on the other hand, I kind of like it because now it's like, okay, he can have a real chip on his shoulder. I think his movement's been better. I think this is Ryan Day on what's how Julian has got better. Jim on this play on the field. Where did you see man in a lot of areas? I think his movement's been better. I think his accuracy is even improved. More of the balls coming out faster. His understanding of the offense, his ability in the huddle to you know, communicate his ability to communicate on a lannis crimage. He's done a lot of good things for us. I think, you know, probably like if you just said, is there one thing I'd say no, it's probably like make incremental improvements across the board is probably the best way to put it. All right. So that's Ryan Day talking about Julian saying to say he's even more accurate as wild to me Nevada. First of all, but I'm bringing this up again because again, there's, I keep seeing more

pundits and more lists and more is Julian saying overrated, you know, content and things like that. And I'm just like I was watching to do the the backs up that takes over for the hurt when he's out. He was just, you know, down on them. People keep pointing back to the last two games and basically saying, well, that's that's why he's overrated. So let me ask you, let me ask something to you, Nevada and everybody watching. Let's just kind of just do a little, little quick, little question answer game. What all goes into a offense being successful? Can we name a few things? Right? Obviously, let's get the quarterback out of the way quarterback. Obviously Julian saying as a quarterback. That's important. What else is important for an offense to be successful, Nevada? Any other thoughts? Well, I mean, your play calling needs to be like your coaching, your coordination, your offensive line needs to protect you. Your receivers need to catch the ball

and do well. I mean, there's a multitude of things that have to go right. And they all have to go right and off the defense is just about blowing stuff up and causing havoc. But offense is about precision. Like all loving guys got to be on the same page doing exactly the thing for you to play that any any chance to be successful. So there's a lot of things that are going to do it for sure. Yeah. So I agree. So you're in short, it's not just on one thing to get an offense to be successful. That everyone has to work together. Right? So I'm asking this question because to me, it seems like the critics of Julian saying are just laying all the blame or most of the blame at Julian saying's feet. Now listen, we've both said on here, me and Nevada, yes, Julian saying needs to get better in this area or that area. He needs to use his feet more. He needs to know when to take off his scramble to move the chains like Carson Beck did, who's not known for running.

Okay. He needs to make sure he's keeping his eyes down filled with pressure in his face, which is a natural progression and growth of any quarterback. He was a first year starter last year. And you know, even we've brought this up so many times. And I've got it pulled up right now the Indiana versus Ohio State stats for the game. Julian versus Mendoza, almost identical stats, almost identical. And we've said this so many times, if Ohio State wins that game by a few bounces of the ball, lost by three, Julian saying wins the Heisman. This is why this is just one data point of why this is so ridiculous with the Julian saying slander. So I just wanted to point this out because the offensive line, Nevada and everybody listening, because offensive line was one of the things mentioned as as what you need to be successful for an offense. They gave up 10 sacks in those last two games. 10 sacks. That is difficult for any quarterback to overcome.

So this is how I see it. You got a pie, right? And you got slices of the pie. You can debate or argue who gets the bigger slice, the bigger piece of the blame. But Julian saying doesn't deserve the whole pie. He has a slice, but so does the offensive line. So does Brian Hartline, having one foot out the door and that whole situation, that was a problem. I mean, the opponent was very good. I get that. But go back and watch the games overall. Julian saying was not terrible in those games. He wasn't at his best. He could have done some things better. He showed his youth. But those games were not all on Julian. And then even specifically with the interception, that that was not all on Julian. And I would even argue it's not on Julian based off of the design of the play, but I'm not going to get into that. So anyway, Nevada, I just wanted to touch on that because the Julian saying slander is just crazy. Instead of asking, is he overrated? How about you

ask, is he underrated? Because at this point, it seems like most of these people don't believe in him. They're stuck in 2025 or early 2026 or whenever the game was. No, it was 2025. And they're, they're, is like, is he not able to get better? Can he not progress from what year one and year two? Or do you expect him to be that same guy? And do you expect the old line to be that same online? And do you expect our offensive coordinator to be freaking Brian Hartline? It's not. Things have changed. Things have improved. Players get better. So anyway, Nevada, just wanted to rant about that because it's just ridiculous. Your thoughts. Well, I just, you know, I just think it's funny that you know, one point in time, people talk about how, you know, the Michigan game is more important than in a national championship. He gets to end it now. And he gets no credit for going up to Ann Arbor into shredding Michigan, in a snowstorm, planet, you know, a fantastic game. But that just, that just doesn't count.

There's just kind of go to the next two games and look, he outperformed a fourth year for Fernando Mendoza, went number one in the draft. And he outperformed a six year Carson Beck, who went in the third round of the NFL draft. So, you know, I know they didn't win the games, but it's not like those guys played better than he did. They didn't, you know, they didn't. And those guys are really experienced, really good players that went highly in the NFL. And, Julian was a first year. He was a red shirt freshman starting his first, you know, his first season of a playing quarterback. And guys like that, they get better. It's scary to think that he could hit better because he was so darn good last year. But yeah, I think cherry picking the games, not giving him credit for the other big games. And then just, you know, it's a, it's a really whether it be a pundit or an Ohio State fan thing. But we do like to do that when we, I've said this for years, when we win a game, be then those don't count. But that

was the team wasn't good or didn't matter or whatever it is. But if we lose, oh, that's the only game that that, oh, that, that game right there, that's the game that matters. Your league in the matters. It's like, come on. Let's at least be fair. Winning up an Ann Arbor. I don't care for who is not easy. It's never been easy. It's never been easy, especially coming off a time when we've lost three in a row to Michigan. That game was huge last year. Yep. Yep. That game was huge on the road. That game excercised a lot of demons. And he was really good. And that you threw the early pick came back and was flawless the rest of the way. So yeah, I don't get it. But frankly, I love it. I mean, I think we need to have some disrespect. I think we, you know, right now I, I'm not gonna, I hate the fact that we're number one. I rather we'd be coming from behind, but we are. So it is what it is. But disrespect, JJ, disrespect, Julian, disrespect. You know, I'm glad JJ didn't win the, the Blitnikov for the last couple of years.

Let's, uh, let's have those guys ready to go and fire it up for, uh, 2026. And I think that can only help us. That's a good point about JJ and that Blitnikov. Yeah, give him a chip. All the successes he's had, he already has a natty that I love it. And so that's the flip side of the annoying, you know, Julian saying slander as if he can't get better is that he can use that as motivation as a chip and to remain focused. So that's good stuff. Talk about another one of our great partners. And it is ramble. Let me pull this up Nevada. And you can kind of jump into this as I pull this up. Here we go right here. Ramble. So anybody, first of all, in the chat, tell me in the chat, have you heard of ramble? And we're going to talk about it. Here is the page right here in Nevada. You want to kick it off and I can jump in. Well, yeah, we just looked at this. They came to us. We really looked at this long and hard.

And we just thought that was a really cool idea. Basically what it is is it's like a pinned group chat where you can do it with like content creators, entertainers. And in your case, a lot of Ohio's the exo-house state football players. And so whether it be boom, heron or Terrell prior or DeVir Posey or whatever it is, you can interact directly with those guys as part of this group chat. And the best thing about this, it's free. It's a free app that not charge any money. And if you want to help out the scoop, click the link and download the app. That's all we ask you to do. Click the link, download the app. Even if you just do that, that helps out the scoop. But it's a lot of fun. It's a really like I said, it's a really unique way to connect with some of your people that you rooted for growing up or earlier in life or whatever it might be. I just think it's a really interesting chat platform. And yeah, Ramble, they came to us

and we're like, you know, this is really unique. I don't know if anybody else is doing something quite like this before. But we love the fact that it's free. We love the fact that it's easy. So just click on the link, join Ramble and check it out. And what do you got to believe? It's like 15 seconds of your time. It takes no time at all. And it helps the scoop. Yeah, yeah, this is definitely very interesting when I heard about this. And I thought about for those for comparison, if you're on X or Twitter, it reminds me of spaces where basically you can respond via text. On spaces you have, you know, your favorite person you follow or your celebrity, and you can join their spaces and listen along and leave reactions. But on this one, you can actually respond and ask questions and comment. That's pretty dope, man, especially for some of the Xbox I players that we talked about. So this is good. Man, we got some really good partners, man.

And this is really cool. I already downloaded it at myself. So I'm going to join in and just kind of observe and just kind of have fun with it. You know, a couple of these cats, I know we already got their number. So you know what I'm saying? But it's just to have some fun. But anyway, anyway, good stuff. All right. So let's get to these wonderful, super chats. All right. We got Jim Jackson, my guy, your guy, our guy. Love this brother. Good, dude. He says, be flight and air BNB secured for L.A. And about to buy these USC tickets tonight, looking forward to connecting with you, Dev, Nevada, and Jessica, our book for a pick. Keep doing your thing, my brothers. That's dope, man. That is great, Jim. I cannot wait to get out to L.A. What is it? September 2nd. You know, it's coming up. It's coming up quick, man. So Nevada, Jim Jackson, man, he got his

stuff getting his stuff booked up, man. I'm excited. We're going to have so much fun to be a great trip. We're going to be running around Manhattan Beach on Friday night before the game. And Saturday, we're going to be going out the route. Now the buck has to victory. And I'm going to be taking B Moses to in and out burger and all sorts of great places. And it's we're going to have big fun and we're going to have a great steak. I front end, so like I said, I don't want you to eat for the next eight weeks in preparation for this thing. So you're lean, mean, and hungry when you get there on Friday night. Oh, yeah. Oh, for sure. I'm going to be ready. Now, here's my question. What is the chances? And I know a funky believes it's not going to be. But what are the chances? This is a night game in USC at USC. I mean, I have they know how they announce who's televised in it? I don't even know. I was confused with the things and the bids and the changes. And you know,

it can't be a big noon out there because that would be like in the morning, you know, I'm saying like that. So like, I'm thinking it's going to be like a five o'clock L.A. time, like eight o'clock Eastern game. Okay. Okay. And that's what I'm that's that's kind of what I've got in my head. Don't know that for a fact, but that's that's kind of what I'm thinking. Okay. I mean, it is cool. I just don't want it. I don't want it to be a noon L.A. time. It wouldn't be a noon L.A. time because what they're three hours behind us, right? Yeah. No, it couldn't. It couldn't. I mean, I guess it could be 1230 if it was a 330 Eastern game. It could be 1230. I don't want it to be that, though. I want it to be to where we can have a ramp up at least a 330 or 4 p.m. or something like that. I'll ramp up to the game in L.A. You know what I'm saying? But we'll see. We'll see. Either way, I'm definitely excited for sure. Mark from WC. Ramble is an awesome app joined today. Yep. I'm just now getting hit to it, but it's definitely a great idea and I downloaded it at myself. So I'm definitely

on it for sure. All right. And we got Kent Curry. Thanks for being a scoop. I'll show you a member. Thanks for the 99 and I. He says, sorry guys. I can't stay. We'll finish watching it later. Say a prayer for David Taylor, 38 years old, a wildlife officer that took in a call to help a family escape and pay the ultimate price hit me pray for fam. Oh wow. So yeah. So that's definitely always hard to hear. It just especially in light of the fact that this man risked basically gave his life for these people to save them. That's just sad. Man, that's tough. I'm so sorry to hear that Kent. Definitely praying. I'm a praying man. If you're a praying person out there, please lift up David Taylor. Call the name out. Pray for the family. And we would appreciate that. Thank you, Kent, for doing that. We're always game for that Nevada. Yeah. I mean, we have a lot of fun here. We talk about fun and games with that man. That's real life and

that's that's real stuff. And yeah, be a prayer for the family. Pray for all involved. For sure. For sure. Yep. It's a constant reminder. We have fun here. Like Nevada says, we talk about different things and we talk about stuff like this. You know, we lift each other up. We support each other. Pray for each other. We got real lives. You know, I know this is a getaway and escape for us. But life is real. So, you know, we're definitely going to be having them in our hearts and in prayers for sure. Kent. But yeah, I see a few people in the chat. Who's who's all talking about LA? Never been to LA. Look forward to. I'm wondering how many scoop people will be out in LA, Nevada. Wouldn't that be cool to meet with a few of them, you know, before the game or something? I don't know. Like I said, Friday night, man, happy to see you walking around with a six foot 11 block. That's B Moses right there. He's really seven one. He's seven one. I'm very handsome. But very handsome. And yeah, we're going to be we're going to be moving around

there and yeah, I think we're going to run into a lot of scoop people. I think we're going to run because be your famous man. Your famous very handsome. Look at Billy D Williams, very handsome. And people are going to be coming up and saying, be kind of a photograph of you man. Listen, just don't call me Idris Elba anymore. I got nasty emails from from women across the country. Just I got all types of strays and hateful comments. I don't just like dang, I thought I was at least decent looking. Y'all killing me. I know I'm not Idris, but I'm not I'm not top liver. But you got me in a lot of trouble with that comparison about it. But I'm telling you, it's like looking in the mirror, man. I'm like, I get to look at you like an hour every night. I'm like, man, I'm looking to eat yourself every time I look at you. Oh my goodness. So handsome. Is is job being the chat? She was the first time you said that she was like, I love bemo's. I don't know about it. I was like, damn it is dudes getting me all types of trouble. But anyway,

anyway, anyway. So listen, we like I said, we got three days, three days until the buck eyes play. And then also reminder, next week, we have confirmed once again, Nevada, Tate from Barstool. You're a guy. Our guy. That's the year. Oh wow. Friday to preview that at Texas Longhorn game, baby. We love that brother's content. He loves. He has is the mutual love. And he's coming on the show. He'll also be on Thursday with Dev. So it's going to be like a ESPN car wash, a buck ice scoop car wash Thursday night to talk about reaction from the offseason leading into ball state. And then Friday night to preview the Texas game with me in Nevada. I cannot wait. So any final thoughts before we bang out of here in Nevada? Yeah. And just a great week for Ohio State Smooth Week of practice. Everything's kind of coming to a head now, man. It's all all these months and months and months

of waiting. And now, like I said, we're three days away. But things are looking good. Bucket land. I expect a big effort. And hopefully, bemo's is going to get on the Doppler and start, you know, rain, rain, go away. Be just none of that rain. It's just not a picket. I've seen it's earlier in the day. But it's only like a couple hours, man, she's cutting it close on this thing, man. Okay. See, I got to update my pick, man. All I got is a winter storm warning. Ryan Day scouting me about the Swiss miss. This is going to, yeah, I got to upload my Doppler pick or make a new one. So I got you. I'm on it, man. But we're going to park this guy's for Saturday. So we have a nice clear day for the book. I gained y'all. But listen, listen, listen, as always, man, we love y'all. We appreciate y'all. We have a ton of fun and clearly y'all do too in the chat. So we appreciate y'all. But until next time, go bucks and peace.
