So whenever we go live, it'll pop up on your device so you can jump right in to the content. Speaking of content, we're going to be talking about five stars of spring practice. It's been a really good spring as far as just energy, momentum, reports, guys stepping up, guys flashing. It's been really entertaining. So it's been dope to see. We got some more for you today. Also, when you send us wonderful super chats,

helps to go towards the pay of forward, which is our military and our first responders. We're going to look out for them because they always look out for us. And before I bring Nevada in, I forgot to mention, for those who don't always do YouTube, Apple Podcasts, hit us up there, save us there, and spreeker.com. Make sure you do that as well. Let's bring in the brother, Nevada Buck. What's up, good, sir? Dude, great. I can't tell you. I think I've been inundated with more information about Spring Football this year than I've ever been before. Seems like it. I mean, I mean, it's, it's, I feel like we have a front row seat for Spring Football. And I'm just so, I'm so excited about this team, so excited about what I'm hearing. And, because if it wasn't great, you know, I mean, I wouldn't, like this on people, but I wouldn't tell you it was great. But I'm telling you, you know, it's crisp, it's sharp, it's pro style, it's like they're preparing

for games now, not just going to Spring Football. And it's different. I'm just telling you, it's different than it's been. This is a different kind of squad, really good squad, veteran squad. You're going to really like this team in 2026. I'm super excited about it. And, and I'm getting that from multiple, multiple, multiple people, and loving one I'm hearing. Yeah, it's, it's, I like I was saying the other day, they're likable, even when you see them off the field, or in the interview, or clowning in a skit, it's just like, I don't know people like, man, so would you go to win games? Yes, you got to win games. But this team doesn't lack talent, or experience, or coaching ability, but it's just the overall energy. I don't know, there are all that stuff matters. That stuff matters, man, because that goes into the locker room that goes into the field, when you have that continuity, and all the other stuff, man, so it's been fun. It's been a fun spring to cover this team and to get the reports that we're getting.

So, amen to that. Now, speaking of that, let's get right into it. A really good nugget today on the Buckeye Scoop board. Talking about the five stars of spring. We're going to get into that. We're also going to touch on some other things going on. Another black stripe was lost today. We'll touch on that later. But Nevada, let's jump into this five stars of spring nugget, and kind of giving me an introduction to that, and we'll dive right into it. Talking to the fifth wise, man, and you know, one thing that does bear repeating is that when people go to practice, everybody sees different things. So, too, you and I could be at the same practice, and you may think five guys are great, and I may think five other guys are great, and I may think one of your guys thinks, you know, like these are opinions, but these are limited opinions from somebody that I have a lot of trust in, but I have a lot of belief in, and it was, you know, I'd asked them for a series of names, a people that had really stood out to him, and this is what he gave me.

Number one was Christian Allegro. You know, Christian, being a guy that I think a lot of people thought was being brought in his death. You know, obviously, you've got, you know, we've got linebackers. We've got Riley Patajon. We've got Peyton Pierce. You've got Tarrasal. You know, we've got guys that are here, and you know, maybe they're looking at him as like a depth piece, and I don't know how much, well, people remember him, but he was like, I broke his arm against us, and then like taped it up, and came in in the second half with an airplane. I mean, so this is, he's that dude, and they call him four, and he's a guy, and according to the fifth wise, man, he thinks he's one of the five best defensive, defensive players on the team already. He thinks he, he thinks he's an absolute, sure, fire starter for Ohio State, and that's not a knock, um, Pierce, that's not a knock, I'm offered, and certainly not a knock on Petajon, who Petajon, even though Petajon's injured, you know, Petajon's very careful, he's going through the drills,

he's going through this stuff, you know, he's monitoring it, he's not like detached on the team, he's right there, but he's just saying, Allegro looks like an absolute dude, and a guy that, you know, I had always noticed, when we played against Wisconsin, a guy that made plays on a Wisconsin team that was pretty, you know, underband, he was a guy that always stood out, and, um, I, you know, a guy that, we think is going to be a starter for us, they certainly notable, certainly one of the big five, you know, starters, for Ohio State football, 2026. Yeah, I was listening to that story, I put the picture, this is the thumbnail, but that's a picture of Christian Allegro coming back into the game, after, um, breaking his arm against Ohio State. I believe, I'm pretty sure his story was, it was against, it was against Ohio State, and he just got it wrapped up, came right back out, you see it on his arm, and yeah, so he's a tough kid, I mean, he, he sounds like a tough kid,

he looks like a tough kid, you know, I'm saying he looks the part, for sure, and that's, I mean, you know, you can't just breeze past, breaking your arm, and going back in, and playing a linebacker, I mean, that's pretty tough, and that obviously, really got Ryan Day, and James Lairnidas' attention, and James Lairnidas thought he was a good player, on film, tough, physical, he's experienced, but interesting, Nevada, not completely interesting, but still interesting. I heard he was, he said he's been playing mostly outside linebacker, a lot of will in the spring, and, uh, I know they cross-train, but I was thinking he would be playing more green dot, more Mike, um, although I know they're, they're going to try him there. What was your thoughts on that? Well, I think Ohio State could very well be looking at multiple linebacker sets, you know, because they've got guys that are so versatile, and, um, and Christians, particularly, that they're rushing the quarterback. You know, you know,

some guys have a knack for doing that, and not everybody does, not every linebacker is a good pass rusher, but a leg row is, and I think they like what, you know, it brings from that spot as well. So I think for Ohio State, they're seeing the versatility, um, they really like him. Um, he's a guy that, you know, could, could play any, if you play all three positions, you know, on the, uh, for the linebackers, but, you know, we've got a good linebacker. James Lornais has done a heck of a job, because I'm telling you, I don't want to, you know, derail the nugget, but, to our, all fours of dude, as well, all fours really good. And obviously, you know, I feel about Peyton Pierce and Riley Petagion. So we've got some guys that can play, they're all versatile, they can all do different things, but Christian Allegro, a guy, you're just, these are the types of guys you want to add in your room, veterans, tough guys, um, guys are going to, you immediately, uh, integrate into the culture of what you're doing, guys that can help you win right now. It's really, really excited about what he brings to the, uh, the football team this season.

Yup, this man. James Lornais, who I just, again, I love that we have him on the staff, I've told you all that before. Great dude, great coach. He checks all the boxes literally. I mean, he's future head coach material. Honestly, he might low-key be more future head coach material than Brian Heartline. Like real talk. Love this guy, with that said, yes, he mentioned offer today, and said he's gotten so much better, just talked him up. And I mean, we, like you said, we got some guys, man. I know we haven't seen production from some of them, but they look the part. It sounds like they're doing their part. So yeah, very excited about this line, linebacker room. And I also, Allegrio bringing in his experience and toughness to this room. And I want to see Peyton Pierce. Peyton Pierce, to me, was solid to OK last year. He didn't blow me away, but he wasn't, like, bad. He was solid. I want to see him step up and be, like, the leader, like the guy. So I'm looking forward to that, too,

in the bottom. I mean, look, I felt about Peyton Pierce, a lot about how I kind of felt about Arvo Reese in 2024. You know what I'm saying? I thought it was a good player, you know, liked him a lot. You know what I'm saying? But was I looking at him and going, oh, yeah, the surefire top of the draft. No way. You know what I'm saying? No way. No way. No, no way. No, wow. But we've got some really good-looking young blind backers on top of you. You know, Rembert, since they're Johnson. I mean, we've got a lot of guys now. And to your point about Laura Knightis over Heartmine, as they, I think the only thing of Laura Knightis has got that's going against him in terms of being a head coach is he's a defensive guy. And I primarily prefer to have offensive guys as a head coach, just like, oh, that's a personal to your flavor of mine. And when you consider the greatest, you know, coaches of all time, Sabin, Belitech were both defensive guys. It doesn't necessarily need to be that way. Just a personal preference of mine. But in terms of a deportment, and just kind of how he carries

himself, and his demeanor, no comparison between Laura Knightis and, in Heartknight. And Laura Knightis, and he's a plus-plus. Just, he's super, super, super solid. And a guy he's absolutely going to be head coach somewhere in the future. Could it be at Ohio State? Not, that's not the craziest thought in the world. Yeah, I agree. Laura Knightis would have to come in, and he would have to hire a fire offensive coordinator obviously but yeah he has all the chops outside of that what we're used to for sure and there's Peyton Pierce but um yeah so uh what else we got man I know Will Smith Will Smith Jr. I know that really I I told you I love the story of his dad and God rested so Will Smith Sr. who was murdered I believe in New Orleans and like a traffic incident just ridiculous sad and tragic uh and now you have his son who a lot of fans thought was just a legacy throw-in is is turning heads he he made plays last year as a freshman and now he's making

more plays taken on double teams um you know destroying blocks I mean Nevada I don't think this is being talked about enough in my opinion to have a kid like Will Smith Jr. to have the potential to be a record and an actual impact player after what his dad did here for those who are too young Will Smith Sr. his dad was here uh for the 2002 national championship he was a key call on that defense and that defense was full of calls but he was a monster on that defensive line and so to me this is just a fantastic story I'm rooting for Will Smith Jr. to be good because I want my team to be good but man the story Nevada if he really just steps in and does what we think he's going to do well I think people are a lot of people are too young to remember in my opinion and I know this is kind of having these discussions about the greatest of all time and different position you know so it's all your perspective but to me Will Smith Jr. was the greatest defensive end to ever

or Will Smith you know it was the greatest defensive end to ever play at Ohio State. No argument I won't argue you know what I'm saying I mean I mean that's that's how that he is saying better than chase young better than the bosses that I mean I just think that's where he sits on the Mount Rushmore mine so um his son didn't really know a lot about him coming into Ohio State and thought you know early on people were saying yeah he can contribute maybe good player now they're saying he's to do and and to the fifth wiseman he's got him above everybody on the defensive line not named Edgar Houston or Kenyatta Jackson that's that's where he's got Will Smith you know and and uh he just thinks Will's going to be terrific not not a depth piece not an occasional guy not a guy that can contribute but a guy that can like ball out a guy that can like handle you know first team reps for Iowa State and national championship season that's how good Will Smith has been and um again one of the great stories here you know in the season not only

surprising because he did flash some last year but he's certainly taking another step noticeably bigger noticeably thicker and uh absolutely spout at the point of time yeah man you you may get some arguments from some of these young fellas about uh putting Will Smith over the bosses but listen and it's not the bosses were great chase young was great go back and watch Will Smith man not only could he and I might pull his numbers out I don't remember how many career sacks he had but he was a terrorist on that defensive line against the rut a rushing the quarterback and stuffing the run like both he was the elite at both so I don't know get me fired up and that was my guy man that brings back great memories watching Will Smith play for Ohio State so that's kind of move on uh little he still he still gets I mean he's still getting the praises I mean he's just handling his business it's just it's like sometimes a kid comes in and you're just

the dude it's just like everybody just sees it like man as dude is he's just he's just the guy like what do you say to that he's making all the tackles he's hitting cats he's doing because it's one thing Nevada to come in and be physical and aggressive all he can hit but also know where you're supposed to be listen to instructions and follow through the coaching he's doing all of that from what we're hearing Nevada well yeah and I think he says I know some people who thought he'd be in in the in the slot or I think he's I think he's the second starter next to McLean I mean I just think you know the roker story is a great story and maybe maybe he edges them out you know you know who knows but Erlittle's really get you know Erlittle is really good and the players know where the players are and they're like man this this guy's really good player you know obviously coming from the program that he did and he's well credentialed he's experienced he's a veteran he's been there before and I I I was excited about him when we got him I'm really excited about him now

because I've heard it from about four different sources that are all talking about Erlittle like there's like no question in their mind that he's a starter they've got him in starter and ink coming into the fall you know obviously short of injury or some craziness like that but I think he's going to be terrific for us I think he's going to be a key cog and he's the prototype of what you're going after in the portal veteran guys from big schools that been in the games before know how to conduct their business can step right in no he's not Caleb Downs but really good player and a really can be a really productive piece for this 2026 defense right and that's a good point I mean he's not Caleb Downs but we have to we kind of have to get over that and I'm talking to myself we've been so spoiled he may be the best safety elite he's in the Mount Rush more of our state safeties offer it like that's not even a debate we can debate who who was better Mike Dawes or him I still think he's better than Mike Dawes and I love Mike Dawes I don't say that lightly I want you to hear me I'm like I love Mike Dawes

okay you can't tell me nothing about Mike Dawes you talk about smacking a cat coming up in the box and smacking and then also playing pretty pretty solid coverage Caleb Downs is unreal and so yeah man we are still going to be really really good on the back end because I've been saying McLean does not get enough love I keep saying that he's really good and now he needs to take another step okay but what we've seen so far as a true sophomore was very impressive so yes I like it I like it all right Kyle Parker all right now I know your sources are saying they think he's the number two receiver right now which to me makes sense I think seeing him on film and also his production I can understand him put him in front of Ennis being his now we expect Ennis to break out this year and take another step but Kyle Parker I mean go watch his film at LSU I mean he looks

like the second most reliable receiver on this roster if you just look at the film and then honestly McLean Devon McLean is like right there as well some of these other guys we see the potential and the flashes and they're coming but they got to produce and but Kyle Parker has produced at LSU and so I'm excited about this kid and I think he's going to do a lot of damage especially underneath quick screens stuff like that Nevada yeah no and and keep in mind you know when I was asking about the White receivers and this is just full disclosure here like my source loves Brandon it's just thanks Kyle Parker he's going to be a little better yeah it's going to be a little better um I had good things to say I'm out McCune had great things to say about Chris Henry was excited about the Brock Boyd hype but thought it was a little bit of hypey hype on Brock Boyd he's like he's a good player but let's cool our jets a little bit on but this is again

this is what makes it's great is that people have opinions you know right everybody has opinions but everybody's not great everybody's not the best everybody's not ready to contribute but he just like Kyle Parker in his opinion was the clear number two I received right now like they lined him up right now you know obviously you've got the the taradactals James Smith literally the Marma Duke whatever we want to call him but uh you said he had Kyle Parker's too and you know obviously there's a lot of football left to be played but you know I like the the fact that we're faster at that I feel like we've been just lacking some speed on the outside and that's not to say our guys are slow but that you know that we're just you know lacking those boners and um just nice to have them and you know I think that from what I'm getting from everybody it sounds like Chris Henry Chris Henry's trajectory is going to be more kind of Marvin Harrison

which remember like Marvin Harrison waited till the end of his freshman year and then broke out in the Rose Bowl that year when when a lobby and Wilson were out and then kind of went out you know I'm saying I think that's kind of the expectation for Chris Henry it's not like he's going to hit it game one and BJJ Smith you know what I'm saying but that doesn't make him a bust that doesn't make him a disappointment that doesn't make a let's write him off let me it's just everybody's got a different arc and look this is all subject to change but that's kind of the trajectory that they they they they look at Chris Henry they're like Marvin Harrison Junior and if anybody's disappointed by that comparison then I really don't know what to say you know I'm saying you crazy you know that's crazy so um but yeah so Marvin Harrison is only going to be or Chris Henry's only going to be Marvin Harrison Junior that's that's quite a diss isn't it yeah listen let's keep trying to guide Buckeye nation into a safe space mentally because yes okay there's your

source want me to dial back the hype hi should I take away the uh played at a funky music bro should I should I dial that song back now is that too much hype hi but I think I think we lean into that man we just get into that I'm sorry it's in my head it's it's rent free in my head so listen even with the boy thing it's just like we're not expecting him to come out year one and just you know be a monster we just hear and everybody can see that this kid was underrated very skilled he's doing all the right things right now and he he should be really really good does that mean he's going to come out this year and be Anthony Gonzalez or whatever our silence in Buckeye in his third four of year um no I mean look let's be on Anthony Gonzalez was an Anthony Gonzalez just for a year exactly you know what I'm saying Anthony Gonzalez was just a guy buried on the depth chart that frankly nobody really knew a whole heck of a lot about you know what I'm saying so it's like yeah I mean look even Chris Olavi or he was nobody knew Chris

Olavi wasn't he blocked that puning it's mentioned him exactly I mean you went through it you went through 11 games and nobody even knew his name casuals no offense but there are casuals that exist did not know we knew who he was because he made a couple catches during the season like he made some catches like okay the freshman like he made a catch but that Michigan game people was like 17 who is this kid like I mean we you know we follow recruiting but the point is Marvin Harrison broke out and was I stud and the role is about the end of the year his freshman year Olavi became an instant household name and stud against the team up north at the end of the year maybe Chris Henry Jr will you know emerge sooner than that in the season but the point is don't expect JJ Smith arc from Chris Henry Jr he's just JJ Smith is a class five mutant okay all the mutants there's different levels to this and that's all we're saying about him no and um and I said this before but there was one person that predicted Marvin Harrison to have three touchdown catches

in the Rose Bowl bingo that was you buddy that was you remember that I'm like you'll have three touchdown catch people like three touchdown catch you got one three touchdown catches now did you wait you were not did you make anything off of that no I didn't I wish I would have I did I did I did yeah I didn't I didn't have fan duels I didn't have those like props that I could do anything at the time I'm yeah that was 120 what year was it yeah remember when it was they had an hour twenty one twenty two whatever it was but you know those Rose Bowl's always confused me too because it's like it's like the end of one year and the beginning of the year so it's like is it is it this year or do you call it this year it's still confusing yeah I think it was uh I think it was a 2022 year going into 2023 I think it was played in 23 I don't know who cares anyway you nailed it though I wish you would have made some bread off of it but it's all good um so the fifth cat here and this name has been buzzing with us in Buckeye Scoop dominant Kelly

the corner out of Georgia remember Nevada when we did a show weeks ago when we first got him I don't know if I'll put the screenshots on the screen or if I read it off my phone but Georgia fans were salty that he left and went to a house date you know how some guys like oh you could have them even if they're lying and Nevada like they try to play like you know who cares just to save face Georgia fans on their message boards Nevada and everyone was salty they lost this kid dominant Kelly I mean to me like he's already he's turning ahead he's very impressive Devon has interviewed him Devon interviews everybody I mean he he's great at that um you know he's been in contact with his pops so the Kelly family you know and Scoop have linked up but listen this kid is nice man he has that he has the length the size the athletic ability he played in eight games as a freshman at Georgia you know I'm saying at Georgia Kirby smart defense

Georgia so this kid man I think we really got his one Nevada with a dominant Kelly I think he's I think he's our number three cornerback right now it's crazy you know it which is kind of crazy kind of crazy but not really that on it like it's like you said and that's kind of the position you played in Georgia last year yeah Georgia placed they play some defense you know I'm saying so this was a really good get for a house state um one little thing kind of a side nugget not really related to Dominic Devon I'll move it back to Dominic Kelly is I'd say you're asking our number one cornerback is right now it's Devon Sanchez over Jermaine Matthews I can see that there's one for you right there's I think you know and again that's not that remains been bad I think Devon's making a move I mean I think Devon's becoming the guy that we all want him to be the guy that we all thought he would be he's starting to be that and last year I know he had some games where some things happened and it wasn't exactly the way you wanted to happen um but that happens sometimes refreshing I can remember Antoine Winfield giving up a

touchdown pass in the uh in the Rose Bowl against errors on a state and you know that's that's what happens you know I'm saying but I think for uh for you know you know we've got we're blessed that we've got Sanchez and Matthews back but Telly's your third man this cut this kid's going to be good he's going to be really good definitely has the swagger definitely is the it factor um a confidence and a an experience and a maturity that goes way beyond his years so I I I think if you say who was the home run hit of the portal season for a high state I think it's dominant Kelly I think that's you know a lot of great hits you know a lot of guys that are going to do it but I think he's I mean I he's going to be special and and super excited to be having one yeah and when y'all get a chance go check out the interview dev did with dominant Kelly um I'm not sure if it was on both channels book our school and book our boys either way check both and and if a dev if you're out there let us know check out the interview he's very impressive very

impressive kid and so I'm looking forward to hopefully dev am I jumping the gun I'm hoping his pops will get on the show you know I'm saying I want to hear from his dad get his perspective he obviously raised a great young man so I'm very excited and then yes uh I see it was that still he maddened chat uh who said yeah tenmans yeah I mean we got some some young corners who are turning heads and getting real respect from guys like JJ Smith JJ Smith straight up said tenmans was going to be special here JJ Smith said that like I don't know to me that that's that's significant for the best receiver in the country number one overall NFL draft pick probably talking about a freshman corner is going to be special here I thought that was great so yeah we got some we got some young guns man and I'm very excited about it Nevada oh yeah and it's I mean this is a position that you know young guys can play they can come in and do stuff right off the bat and I think you know for a high estate look you need to have you really need to have three

number one corners you know I'm saying like you need to have three guys that can go out there and lock down um you need to have safes for versatility but you got to have those three corners and you can't get away with two and you certainly can't get away with one so I think dominant Kelly in my opinion consider what we lost in the portal might have been our most important addition in terms of doing it and and just because you've got to have you know that third guy man you can get exploited over and over again oh yeah I think he's a guy that he's going to have that can absolutely plot yep that is huge all right so we're going to shift gears to some announcements and some things going on and you know what spring and like strike lost and also some clips some funny clips that I want to share with you but before we do wanted to shout out our good friend Toledo Geo great friend of the show um he is asking for some assistance if for those who want to donate towards his brother's funeral services here is his cash app right there I put it on the screen so you can see listen funny dude always has this cracking that was super

chats constantly here just going back and forth you know doing this thing our condolences are with you Toledo Geo for your loss first and foremost so um we appreciate you and so anybody interested in donating I know I will when I get off of this live I will do that myself but wanted to show love to Toledo Geo we appreciate you and we pray and I know I'm praying for your family brother anything on that Nevada yeah um just you know I'm I'm I'm I'm not I'm not sure if it was his son or his brother oh I'm sorry I'm sorry only son I see it there sorry I think I think it was and just just terrible just you know I'm gonna I'm gonna help out as well and anybody that can we're a family here and anybody that can help out encourage you to do and just just so start for your loss and and uh breaks my heart absolutely and again my apologies for

that Toledo but yes his only son which is I can't even imagine man can't not even imagine but again our hearts are with you Toledo Geo and your family all right and if y'all need me to put this back up later I will um but just let me know all right so we mentioned a black stripe being lost by a player okay for those who don't know I'm gonna show you who that was gonna pull this up so we can take a look and again this black stripe thing is interesting hold on to the quarterback do it's never gonna rush man quay brook I think y'all was lost let me be a part of the family back so you can let my man go dungeon don't keep giving me all but go back all right so that was quay rassal quay rassal who lost his black stripe uh alabama okay so which

is interesting again me and Nevada talked about this the other day with the black stripe so it's funny James Smith has been a buzz in spring camp I mean everybody talking about him how he's you know just killing it doing well whatever but yet quay rassal lost his black stripe before James Smith and it goes back to what we were saying that losing your black stripe I don't think should be minimized as oh just whatever there's just something to it but to me I think it's a strategy eat I was told by someone in the coaching staff the the coaching the actual uh the coaches for each room like they have a big say and who gets their stripe off you know I'm saying like locklin has a big a big say and a legend bay gets his stripe removed because that's his position coach and there's certain things that coaches want to see from their players that they feel like they need to be pushed a little further even if they've been killing it all they've been really flashy they've been doing but there's something else they want to see them do or they feel like

they need to push them a little further before giving them that you know to take the black stripe off because it's going to be beneficial for them not a lot it's just coaching so anyway very interesting but what's your thoughts on quay rassal losing his black stripe number one and then losing it before James Smith it's a something you know something like I always say it's a it's a something I think it you know look they like both those guys from Alabama they they think both those guys can play both those guys can contribute you know I'm quite I'm thrilled about it because I know James Smith is a dude I know he can play I'm not sure if quay rassal can play but this makes you feel better about him his ability to play and I think he's a guy that I think there's mixed reviews on you know formal high state I there's some guys are really high animal ones are like not so sure now I got to say these are the same people that I'm I vividly remember when will cast Merrick came to a high state and I'm like hey what what about this real

cast Merrick came and like just just a guy you know just just a guy you know and then he turns out to be a will to be stopped there you know and one of the most valuable players so yeah you just never know but really glad to hear but he's got to strike remove really excited to because he's a past fresh guy and if we've lacked anything in recent years it's been past fresh and I think one of the keys to this year with Patricia Patricia's going for more chaos he's going for more negative plays more tackles for losses more turnovers more sacks you know and a guy like this he's a guy that can kind of bring it some I was really excited to see him lose his block strike yeah and and here again for those who are new to the show we have a resident Bama fan road tie for life okay he said every night shout out to road tie for life man shout out to to this cat you know just for all you do such a nice do he's a Bama fan but he rocks with his heavy and

I love that he said Rousseau is more talented than Smith I followed both of Alabama Rousseau missed five games last season because of injury he will have a great upcoming season if he could stay healthy now he told us this a few weeks ago about the injuries and how Rousseau was just had a higher ceiling but like Nevada said that's just amazing because James Smith is getting all types of praise from coaches players media everybody and so and then he follows up with Rousseau as a freak athlete who's very versatile so I mean because again a lot of people thought okay well Rousseau okay well we'll take him to and you know he might be all right so this is just this is just great great great news for sure so yeah I'm happy about that who we did who was our guesses our our guesses were James Smith to get the next black strike James we both said James Smith and Chris Henry Jr. Chris Henry Jr. You said Chris Henry Jr. and then I said offensive player did I say McEwen you said Quay Rousseau that's it you said B you said Quay Rousseau

and I'm gonna say Quay Rousseau no but I just wanted to be I wanted to make you feel good I don't think I did that go back and check the archives like am I am I a genius am I getting I forget I think I said McEwen but uh but we were both wrong Quay Rousseau look at that so my next guess let me see let let's try this again we struck out I'm gonna go Chris Henry Jr. now I didn't say that you can't still you can't still you can't still you can't still everything the board said Nevada the board said oh my gosh this is terrible this is oh man but but there's like there's a good one Devon a chat this mentioned somebody who was an obvious guy we just mentioned next you can still that one can you see that that's why you can't see the chat I can't see the chat this is what he said Dom Kelly oh yeah yeah I see I see I see for some of us I forget the guys haven't had their black strip removed yet you know I'm saying yeah I'm gonna steal I'm

gonna steal Devon's answer and move him off the board and go with I'm gonna kill him this one of Devon's got to pick another guy yeah no I like it I like it um be Moses going out on the limb one whatever hey look hey are you all I know is sweet sweet victory when he gets that removed um okay okay all right so look couple more things when we get to these super chats which are starting to come in couple a nice funny things here man like first of all I was very pleased to be able to see the personality well actually I could use this intro for both of these clips I'm gonna show but for this one the personality of the OC from the Pittsburgh Steelers Arthur Smith cannot believe you were tight I mean I just that's important we gotta get this like there's two of the guys with tight like how are you gonna be a pretty nasty physical line and you weren't tights

come off the ball patience little patience there it is that's it back to our cut this is major PhD guy in economics right I mean another guy tights look at this hey that's right then you might go we're a back clapped in my camera he's just a he's just a good guy from Finley Ohio it's all grit you know I mean it's old school other than the fact that he a hundred percent got a spray tan the other day we get the kevans they're tough from your feet yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah yeah just this and curls when we come out here Phil doesn't wear tight you know I'm saying Phil it's a real man's man that's some get to me guys in tight he was awesome good day mate good day mate good to see you buddy look it in look it in I mean next group ready push the ball good we're good no way naturally it was wearing tights I love it man I absolutely love it it's funny because I didn't know nothing about Arthur Smith before he came here and about I'm not a Steelers fan I knew who he was I knew he

existed I just didn't know much about him and so seeing his sit down interviews with the media he really didn't give much he was you know it's like okay I'm fulfilling my obligation he you know he was on some Marshawn Lynch I'm just here so I don't get fine type stuff but in that video I mean that was legit like fun and funny and he was just you know getting aftrum I loved it man Nevada is that your first time seeing that I did you see it earlier I have seen it but it was great and you know I mean Arthur Smith was the offensive alignment himself he played the position you know so he's got an offensive line first mentality and you know I I've got a nugget coming tomorrow but I'll get guys little preview nice our offense lines our offense lines are really good our offense line give it really good and and we'll go through it tomorrow but like our second team offensive line could start for over half the teams in the big time that's that's how deep we are that's how good we are it's going to be the running game is going to be vastly improved this year

vastly night and day compared to launcher yeah I'm I'm excited man I'm so excited about that looking forward to the nugget if y'all have not got a subscription to bucarscoup.com go get you one now go get it now these nuggets are a plenty nuggets galore information galore great discussion galore I'm going to keep using galore till you get annoyed galore galore galore it's a lot okay make sure you do that and I'm excited about this nugget tomorrow in Nevada was you about to jump back in no just yeah again I I do I'm just loving what I'm here and I'm loving what I'm here and and you know I just I'm excited to see the Arthur Smith influence on an offense I think having an adult call the offense is going to make a big difference for our state absolutely all right now for our next clip of someone showing their personality I absolutely loved this this is

your man Jeremiah Smith and his new commercial freaking hilarious hold on it's taken us a little bit of time to adjust since JJ came back into the office man not on your last year are cool but I don't know he's making all weird me for some reason you know what's up boss I know you started game last night in my parlay almost hit now I have to answer to a 12-year-old he just bullies me all the time excuse me Mr. O'rod you mind doing a release for me that is a good release he over works is we haven't been home in over a month and we ask him why he always says because what's our company motto we're always always love it absolutely hilarious well done it reminds you of the old school ESPN

commercials great marketing great commercial I love the tie all of that Nevada push your thoughts bro yeah it's just it's fun to see JJ kind of spread his wings and he's a quiet dude and you know he's a guy that doesn't say much you know that that's why he's so that's why he loves Chris Henry Jr. because Chris Henry Jr. may be quieter than JJ like Chris Henry don't say anything which is kind of funny when you consider you know who his dad was and who he's raised with the Pac-Man you think he'd be like out there chatting like he didn't say anything so those guys have a lot in common from a from a talking standpoint so it's just fun to see JJ do that and kind of coming into his own and I'm already missing him I know he's only got a one-year left here and we got a whole year to go through but it's it's gonna go too fast seems like he just got here yesterday and dropped his first pass remember he's dropped that first pass from from Will Howard could have taken it out so that that tunnel screen and the kid turned out okay turned out okay I

was at that game I was there in the stadium and you know when you see when you see a play from the stadium perspective is much different than in when you're watching on TV because you can see the open space you can see the green I saw the green Nevada's not exaggerating that was lit that was a straight-up tuddy if he catches that easy now you talk about head swollen like you can't get no better than that he would have scored he would have been all right you may live you wise but yep he definitely turned out all right okay let's get to some superchats still he mad things for the one I know Swiss Miss Doppler and chunky buck have you weighed yourself in Nevada have you dropped any pounds so far you just kind of down to 223 down to 223 so making some serious I'm wondering how much that was like water weight from the week you know I'm sorry that's just like you know I mean because I just don't believe you can lose this much weight

this quickly it had to be something I think was stress-eating and water weight and and depression after losing it over time I'm still a little depressed about that not gonna lie but I'm getting I'm about 99% over it so I just thought about that line from I'm a big Austin Powers guy remember when Fat Bastard was like I eat because I'm not happy you know but you don't forget that line and then he farted and then they looked at him like you just go fart after that anyway sorry we're moving people here okay especially comedies anyway all right what we got next geo did thanks for the five at the combine the ass sunny styles it was the next breakout line back of the season he without hesitation set Peyton Pierce yes I have also brought this up absolutely you can't get no more of a stamp of approval than that and so I just want to see it I want to see Peyton Pierce step up and just be a dog he was solid last year but let's see him step up I have full confidence he will especially with James Lordnight is coaching him but yeah Nevada

anything on that well again just just look at the context please look at it and kind of go okay how good and just good talented whatever you want to call loaded was the 2025 defense and you know you could probably you know you can make an argument for being best in school history you know I'm saying I mean you know what one of the best ever and and who played you know who played more Peyton Pierce Riley Patigian Charles it was it was Peyton Pierce yeah so the context clues are there and you know that was Maddie Patricia and James Lordnight is his opinion of who they wanted to put out they chose him for a reason so I think you know he's a good if you're betting on horses that's a good horse to be betting on I mean they're all good but I think you know Peyton you know certainly a guy that uh it's certainly going to be watched because he was certainly the leader in the clubhouse last year in my opinion absolutely yep like you said it's all there this the stage is set he just needs to step on it and take it to another level and I have

confidence he will still he mad thanks for the one I nine Will Smith 2002 and 2003 big 10 defensive player of the year legend yeah if y'all don't know who Will Smith is go watch you to go watch the Miami game the one they're still crying about that they did not atone because they did not raise a national championship trophy yeah you beat us in that game but you didn't win the trophy at the end like we did so you we still broke yeah Miami fans but anyway yeah go check out Will Smith Jr not even just the Miami game we're just all his career he was a monster Nevada I said it before but there is nobody ever in the history of cosplay ball has been held more than Will Smith was he was held he literally was held on every play every single play he was that good he was that impactful for yeah for the younger people go back and and watch him because that was the golden era of Ohio State defense you know 2002 2003 and defensive player you're both years I mean come on it's unbelievable

yep unblockable I mean but listen he was a monster but go I mean he was just manhandling Miami's offensive line and y'all have to understand the context Miami just won a national championship the year before in dominant fashion we were what 13 will we minus 13 Nevada in that game well they had 135 games in a row yeah yes yeah so yeah they were they were they were on quite quite the quite the burner there and they already had flyers remember the whole they had party flyers out to celebrate before the game I mean we were like they like David Goliath like for real our offense it was a trussle offense Claret was cooking but he was a true freshman Krenzel was a you know a tough gritty guy but he wasn't CJ Stroud you know I mean like nobody expected as the win outside of Columbus and our defense just absolutely destroy them dudes and Will Smith was at the lead

shout out to that 2002 defense man C Grant you out there man what up bro Matt Wilhelm just I mean I can go on and on and on just great defense Mike Dawes yeah man good stuff all right still he Matt welcome to massiveville scoop family I like that that might have to be a shirt on the next scoop shirt order welcome to massiveville I kind of like that Nevada what you think yeah I like that a lot that's that's that's that's kind of elegantly simple but that that that definitely has some pop to it I like that a lot that's better than Chubby Chubby Nevada buck Chubby Nevada buck I might have to like blow your face up no what I do is I'll put like a Nevada buck I can stay puffed parts from marshmallow I'll put it on top of the state from marshmallow's body as you're walking through choose your destructor all right all right let's see thoughts and prayers to Toledo Geo absolutely absolutely I see you in a chat responding Toledo look man we

game spring game is April 18th okay that's just a couple weeks away so for those of y'all who are going let's make sure I would love to meet some of y'all as my point so from now until then let's you know in the chat whatever tell me hey I'll be there I know it's tough being on campus and all that traffic and all the people to try to link up with people but you know it might be worth a shot so I wanted to throw that out there but anyway uh any last words before we bang out of here Nevada nah just um look you know if you're looking for kind of an overall grade for spring football so far man it's it's it's an A to an A plus I mean it's really good it's really good and they're not always like this they're not always like and I don't know if it's the veteran kids the new staff the professionalization of what they're doing but this has been a really crisp spring football as an Ohio State fan it should be really excited about 2026 I know I know I am

yep and remember this was the year 2025 was found money where we actually had a shot but a lot of people didn't think so because we lost so much and 2026 was the year to point two where we're here we're here now we're here now and so yep embrace it enjoy it and until next time book our school family we love you go box and peace
