On March 2nd, here's the latest in global news. The U.S. and Israel are now in their third day of intense military action against Iran, dubbed Operation Epic Fury by President Trump. U.S. Central Command confirmed three American service members killed and five seriously wounded in recent strikes. Trump warned more casualties are likely, but stressed operations will continue until all goals are met. Israel expanded the fight overnight, wanting strikes on Hezbollah targets in Lebanon after rockets hit Israel. Explosions rock southern Beirut and Iranian missiles killed nine people in the Israeli city of Bait Shamesh, the deadliest attack there so far. Strikes also hit a girl school in Iran, killing at least 153. Civilians in southern Lebanon are fleeing in droves after Israel ordered more than 50 villages to evacuate at least 1,000 meters to safer. President Trump and his team plan to highlight the quick pace of this conflict compared to past wars.
