One Tree Hill Reboot Update: Sophia Bush on Hold

The project was announced for Netflix back in August 2024, with Bush, Hillary Burton, and Daniel Ackles set to executive produce. Warner Bros. television would handle production, and Bush and Burton were slated to return as Brooke Davis and Peyton Sawyer. She pointed to big changes in the media world, like Paramount buying Warner Bros. after a bidding war with Netflix. Bush said the cast isn't exactly cozy with these new media giants, but she's staying patient about it.
