With the New Year upon us, there's no better time to take control of your finances. Follow and listen to Jill on Money, wherever you get your podcasts. This is like off the clock, Twitch Mitch is ready to go. He's so good at Johnny Cash, they're going, I've never seen him not wearing all black. Yeah, it's true. But it's a little bit more casual, he's got the, just a little bit of a casual Twitch Mitch. Very good. Hang it out here at Jake and Joe's, we'd love to see you stop by, we're here until two o'clock. Taken in the tournament, I'll tell you, Keith, I think, I think Scout gave us a couple of clues there. He said the rest of the league is going to be watching the Celtics like a Hawkeye, Hawkeye. Interesting. I think he's trying to tell us something about the bracket.

Never mind. He said the Celtics went eight, no, sweeping the state of California, that's how I feel about my breath. I feel like I have a perfect, this amount of 63, you know, 63, I think that's how that would work. So I think I have a clean sweep every Thursday at high noon. We go on the clock, still some time before the tournament tips off. We thought it'd be a good time to fill out our brackets in just 60 seconds. Nick, let's put Keith on the clock and let's hear his picks. Go ahead, Keith. And here we go. East region loaded. You have Duke, Yukon, you have Michigan State Kansas, St. John's, all in our tears for best basketball programs. I hate picking chalk and I hate picking one seed. I also rarely win. But this is the one seed I do have going to the final four. The Boozle brothers are too much. Cam Boozle is unbelievable. So I got Duke coming out of this region over to the West region where you have Arizona as the top seed, Purdue as the two seed. This is where I think you're going to get some upsets because I'm going based on best players. I'm going to be in Boston, the 60 BYU. I got them going all the way to the final four. Oh, Darius Akov from Arkansas put him in the elite eight because how good he is.

South region, Florida, Houston, I'm going to take Houston to come out of that region. And then in the Midwest where you have Michigan and Iowa State, Virginia and Alabama, I'm going to take Iowa State not only to come out of this one, but to win the whole thing. Iowa State over BYU, Duke over Houston in the final four. Iowa State over Duke for the whole thing. I also like Miamiville High, into the sweet 16 right under the gun, Keith. There we go. You're going to hear Miamiville High, again. I already had this before I watched them last. Same. I was like, if it ends up being SMU, maybe egg on my face, but I was like, I'm taking these guys. Everybody like ruled them out. They're like, oh, they've been playing, buddy. It's like they want 31 straight game. Look, if you learn anything from the Jones and Keith, March Madness, brackets, sometimes sometimes the committee kind of sets things up a little bit to have a team go on a run. That's possible. I think it is set up for the Red Hawks, rather, of Miami of Ohio. So that is Keith's bracket. We go on the clock here every Thursday. You can do the same on the phone, 617-779-793-7, we'll give you 30 seconds with your bracket

if you want on Jones and Keith live today from Jake and Joe's in Wilbur, Nick, kill me up. Let's go. All right. I'm filling in my bracket in just 60 seconds in the east. I got upsets. South Florida, early over Louisville. I have UCF taken down UCLA. I do have St. John's upsetting Duke in the sweet 16, but I have Michigan State taken out the Johnny's to go to the final four. In the South, I have Troy over Nebraska. VCU, couple of wins over UNC and Illinois. I'm with Keith. I have Houston going back to the final four. They take down top seed in Florida. In the West, I got high point over Wisconsin. I have Mizzou over Miami. I have AJ Demandsta, local kid to the sweet 16, but Arizona beats Purdue to go to the final four. This Akron and Miami of Ohio, both to the sweet 16, number one, Michigan takes out number to Iowa State. So in the final four, I have Michigan State in Houston. Give me the Spartans. I have Arizona and Michigan. Give me the Wildcats and for all the marbles in the national title game, cutting down the

Nets, Arizona, another national title, their first since 1997 over MSU. So I think we only have one overlap final 14 Houston. I have Houston, Michigan State. I don't know if any. So East was my top, my topsy-turvy bracket. Okay. I would say I had Michigan State and the Johnny's in the elite eight. So I have Michigan State, Houston, Arizona, Michigan. So the only overlap is Houston. Yeah. And I forgot to mention Kingston Flemmings, the point guard for Houston. Really fun to watch. Also a guy that might be like a top five pick. Good draft. Everyone's been talking about how good the draft is and why teams are tanking like crazy. I would still take number one overall. You would. I would. But then watching Duke, Cam Boosers, Nassau Booser, I think is going to be like a national player of the year. I wouldn't take him one. Okay. Personally. Yeah. Peterson. Well, I don't like Peterson because he taps out of every other game. So no, I don't like him. So to banster or no? Yeah. But I think it's like process of elimination.

Yeah. I think A.C. I was too tiny. I know, but he is electric. I wouldn't let him slip because he'd be one of those guys that if he's really good and he gets picked like 10th and you're like, why the team 7, 8, 9 didn't take him. You know, sometimes you're just so overwhelmed like what he's doing in the tournament is or I'm sorry, the SEC tournament is crazy. I got him. There are four seats that usually could win at least a couple of games or see more of him. I think he's great. And the kid from Houston's really good too. And he's a little bit bigger. Uh. Like six. Okay. Interesting. Oh, look who just pulled in. Oh. The wives are here. The wives table. The wags are always out. Very good. Uh. When it comes to, uh, uh, Jake and Joe's and Woober and they're not going to miss out on a site like today. Our current wives. So be like, well, yeah, I know your ex-wife. I have not seen here. She's not here. She's not here. She would never. But be like Twitch Mitch. Yeah. Be like the wags of Jones and Keith. Stop by Jake and Joe's in Woober and we're here today until two o'clock. Uh. I think I gave you most of my upsets, Keith. Oh, yeah.

So let me give you a couple more upsets that I'm looking at. We're all hornfrogs. We are all hornfrogs. We are. That's only a nine over an eight. So that's not really an upset. But we'll start. We'll start with a little juice. Plus 130 money line. No, no, no. That's a healthy pay day. Don't get me wrong. Yeah. I actually, I'm with you. I have South Florida over Louisville. I think where it could get a little walkie-talk. I think the whole country, by the way, has South Florida. I think that's one that I think everybody is picking that game. So the South was where I had most of my double digits. I had Troy and McNeese winning. So I have a 12, 13. I have second round. Okay. You have McNeese. I got VCU beating North Carolina, which would be looking upset. Yep. I don't even know if it's a line-up, but A&M over St. Mary's is a 10-7. So VCU is only like a two and a half point dog. That's an 11 over a six, but that's like... So I like that. That's a good, I'm on VCU as well. And then Miami, Ohio, and then High Point. I usually bet against Wisconsin early. Wisconsin's one of two. They're either like, in the final four, they're out in the first round. They're, it's a weird Wisconsin team this year. Yeah. They're like a team that actually can score. They shoot different, which they never were with Bolray, and they've never really been in their history.

So they are. I'm with you. Normally, I fade Wisconsin. I'm fading them again. Yeah. But I wonder if that'll come back to bite me this year. Because I normally, I think it's lame to pick all the one seeds. But then last year, it was all the one seeds. And how many one seeds you got? I got my face. Just one. You only have one. Yeah. I got two. Yeah. I got just one. I did buy the, I was pretty, I was not chalky to start, but by the elite aid. It's pretty chalky in there. Who does everybody? Like, what's the consensus pick? Is everybody picking? I would think Duke. So they might be the number one overall seed in the tournament, but I feel like they're about... They're regions loaded. Yeah. And that's like a blue blood loaded region. Yeah. That's like actual good teams this year. Good coach regions. Good teams. Yeah. No, no. The east, the east is the region for sure. Yeah. So anyway, you got thoughts on the bracket. dial us up. 617-779-793-7. And you can go on the clock with all your bracket thoughts, about five minutes away from tip off of the first game live at Jake and Joe's in WooBurn. Last night, Keith, we had the Celtics. We had Jalen Brown. Uh-huh. And he continues to... On Aspire with Emigread, we talk about mindset and vision and the work that actually moves

the needle. Listen to Aspire with Emigread available where you get your podcasts. Roll with his spectacular season. And now the last couple of games I feel like an actual pecking order where he is above Jason Tatum. I didn't feel that way for four or five games. I did not. When Tatum first returned, the last two... The last two, it feels like the pecking order is working itself out and Tatum to his credit. And it seems content, deferring early in both games to Jalen Brown. He deferred late in the sun's game because it was close. This one last night was not. So it didn't really come into play. But he's been content early to defer to Jalen Brown and I continue to think that's a promising site for this team. Yeah. And I think sort of... I do. Tatum, a lot of credit for that. It's sort of seeing the season that Jalen Brown is having and saying, all right, I'm going to help this. No means going to get in the way of this. And now the team's better. The team's so much better because they were good before. You could make a case that they were the best team in the East before Tatum returned. Now you could make a good case that they weren't, right? You could be like, oh no, give me the Troy, give me the Nick's head to head.

But then with the addition of Tatum, I got to put them over the top. Look at Tatum's shot attempts, though, per game since he's gotten back. 16, 16, 24. No, I was, 24 was when Jalen went out, right? Correct. Yeah. 19, 18, 15. So like the shots are there. He's also averaging eight and a half rebounds. So he's... Tatum, Tatum, double double cash last night, barely. What it did. He's already had three double doubles in the six games that he's played. And that was another thing that I feel like got a little under disgust was when he wasn't playing. They didn't just lose like, horror, and poor thing gets some holiday. And everybody's like, oh, the Tatum scoring. Tatum's turning to like a really good rebounder. And when you play one big, some of the games they've lost this year have come down to offensive rebounds allowed at the very end. Even the Chet Humbgren. I was just going to say even... He recently... Even in that one. Yeah. Which Tatum wasn't playing. So he's doing a lot of the other things. And there's still plenty of shots. But I get your point. Like, there are times where Brown has the ball and you're like, all right, he's... He's going for it. He's not... It's not the other way around.

Where in years past, it's like, get out of Tatum's way. Now it's like, get out of Brown's way. Yeah. But I think... It's working for this year. And who knows how Jalen feels in the off season and Tatum feels in the off season. We'll definitely talk about it when we get there. But I think for this year, it's the right thing for the team. Tarp agrees. We talked to Tarp last week. We talked to Tarp. And for this year, it's the right thing for the team. Tarp agrees. We talked to Tarp last week. We talked to him again yesterday. Pure hoops. Like, he agrees. That's the way to structure the team. That's the way to do it. And for this year, I agree. It's the way to do it. I was skeptical Tatum would buy in. That was... I wanted them to do it this way. Yeah. I didn't think Tatum would do it. And the Tatum's credit. He... These last two games, he's doing it. Yeah. And even when he did it against Phoenix, I'm like, well, was that a one-off, Jalen addict. Clearly going in that game. No, no. I think he's doing it. And what I like about the Celtics right now, Keith. Compared to a year ago, for instance. Number one, they still have a shot at the one seed, which I just dismissed the other day. I was like, why don't I open now? I was like, it's done. But with the news this morning that Kate Cunningham has a collapse lung,

he may not play again in the regular seed. I mean, I might not be coming back, period. I don't know. But he's not probably coming back for the foreseeable future. He's going to be out. Is Detroit catchable? What does that mean for Jalen as a first team all NBA player? If Cunningham doesn't hit the 65 game threshold to qualify? Yeah. I'm intrigued by all of that. What I love about the Celtics this year compared to a year ago. They were not playing their best basketball this time this year. Last year. And we tried to tell you in real time, they're in bad habits. Oh, it doesn't matter. Just get healthy. They're the most talented team. That's all that mattered. And a lot of you felt that way. It was wrong. They weren't playing good basketball this year. They're playing their best basketball. Yeah. Not only that, but they're also like they're re-acclimating Jason Tate. He's playing more minutes. And so it's like you have reason to put your whole team on the floor. Not just chasing the one seed or holding off the mix for the two seed. But it's also like making sure your team is playing together. So it's the opposite of last year where you're like, all right, we know what our team is. Let's kind of rest.

Let's sort of like just be healthy. Now it's like, no, we're ramping this guy up just in time. Tatum gives them some ceiling. Yeah. The potential return of Uchavitch. So like, right, they're playing their best basketball. And there's some leeway to cycle up even a little bit. So I think that is huge compared to a year ago. They didn't beat San Antonio without Jalen for half the game. They didn't beat OKC without Tatum for the entire game. But they were toe-to-toe with the two best teams in the league. And when they've been healthy and had everybody back, they look like by far the best team in the East ready to go to the finals. I didn't feel that way about them last year. I knew they were the most talented team. They weren't playing good basketball. This year they are. There are browns been the leading scorer every game since Tatum has been back with the exception of two. One of them, he got thrown out of the game in the first half and Derek White had the most points. The other was the Wizards game. Yeah, when Tatum was going to go for 83, that's what they were saying in the broadcast. Because it was against the Wizards and that game was over. So Cade Cunningham, the big NBA news today, is he has a collapsed lung.

So I did a quick little Google AI overview. Oh, good. Good, good, good. How long? ChatGP TV on. How long he's going to be out? All I wrote was how long are you out with a collapsed lung? Which it is possible to have a collapsed lung and then have a knock on that. Wow, that is possible. Yeah. Now, this surprised me. Recovery for a collapsed lung. Numa Thorax. Yep. Usually takes one to two weeks for minor cases. I felt like it would be months. No, I thought he was. Look at Terp. Terp's like crap. Oh, no, Terp's. Oh, I see what Terp's looking at. Oh, I was state. Oh, I was state. And that was the three. Yeah. You're going to keep it on. The three is the two is in the free throws for me, Terp. Well, there's the three. Well, crap. I just need all of them. All right. Get a two. No, I don't like our bet already. We're out. Who's in the next game? Who's going to get the next one? Next one's on South Florida. I got money line there. South Florida. I got money line there. Don't worry about it. But looking at this, it's like travel, sir. Sorry. So activity restrictions. Patients must avoid.

This is if you have a collapse long. Must avoid lifting, strenuous work, or flying until cleared by a doctor. It usually takes two to four weeks. So now we're sort of extending it a little bit. I feel like he's out for the rest of the regular season. And therefore, he's not going to qualify for MVP and all NBA. Not that people necessarily care about that. But it's kind of unfair, though, to him. Like he's got an awesome season. Jalen cares, though. You better believe it. Yeah. Yeah. That opens up a spot, though, for everybody. I disagree. I think fans care. How about the MVP stuff? I think they care about him. Yeah. Being first team all NBA and being in the MVP. Yeah. I think they absolutely care. Yeah. But, uh, no, so it's a three and a half game lead right now. The pistons have over the Celtics. And you have to feel like there's a chance to close that gap. 15 games left to go. No, free throws. Come on. John's is out for the rest of the show. So good run though, Nick. We had we get beat until 12, 18. Yeah, I think the game tipped off like two minutes ago. We already lost him. Yeah, we're out. That's it for us. You can replay the Maxine to pre interview. If you want to do that, we'll play Maxine to pre.

We'll play Brad. Brad. Well, he's free throws. What are we fathom for? Just give him a dunk. Well, no easy buckets is a horn fraught motto. That's not what I subscribe to with three to one. That's how that works. All right. Well, we're lots of loads of losers. We're all hornfrogs out for the game on the money line. Next game is at 1240 on true TV. So as soon as impractical jokers wraps up, we'll have Nebraska Troy. Don't worry. During half time, they'll also show impractical. Yeah. The issue with how late they go with their post game covers, because I'm like, where are the jokers? I'm waiting for the jokers. I need somebody to tell somebody else what to do on the street. I think the impractical jokers, it's how I feel about your Dan Cook stance. And you're always like them. Yeah, I just always like the jokers. Just their hijinks. It's so silly. I think one has problem. I believe they were just picked up for season 13. Dude, even 13 years keep they're doing something right. One guy, shady though. Did they cancel the one guy? Oh, did they cancel somebody? No, I just barely just said, hey, tell Keith. Thank you, Billy. On top of it. Better than ever the disrespect. No, you're impractical. No, no, no, no, no. Billy knows company.

617-779-793-7. Good defense there by the Hornfrogs. Billy, with all the latest intrending and when we come back, the Celtics have not missed Porzingus or Horford or Drew Holiday yet. Yeah. Great call. Strikes. There we go. Oh, T-90. Yes. But will they miss some compost season time? We will get to that right after trending with Billy. Hey, everyone. I'm Josh Radner. And I am so excited to tell you about how we made your mother a rewatch podcast looking back at how I met your mother. And I'm here with Craig Thomas, who co-created the show along with Carter Bayes. Hi, Craig. Hey, Josh. Somehow it has been 20 years since the show premiered. I'm going to check the math on that. 10 years since it went off the air. And we thought that made this a perfect time to look back. See what the hell we did and why the show still seems to resonate with fans around the world today. Follow and listen to how we made your mother wherever you get your podcasts.
