When we decided to do a podcast, having Om on as an early guest was a no-brainer. He's probably best known to most people as the founder of GigaOm, one of the original tech blogs, but he's also written for nearly every outlet of note you can imagine, including the Wall Street Journal, the New Yorker, Forbes, and more. The guy is incredibly smart and thoughtful, without an ounce of pretension. But at the same time, he's got killer taste and a good sense of humor to balance everything out.
