To kickstart a four sport hub for football, rugby, netball, and cricket. This comes right after wrapping up Little Wimbley, the junior training ground, on some overlook land by the car park. Back by the government and greater Manchester combined authority, the whole vision aims to pull in 25,000 visitors a week and boost. The burrows sports scene, netball clubs are hyped, calling it a game changer for women and girls where facilities are scarce. A couple counselors flag traffic worries, but highways experts say it'll only mean 15 to 20 extra trips at peak times, nothing major for that lot.
