On March 5th, the 5th seeded Oklahoma Sooners, women's basketball team kicked off the SEC tournament postseason with a strong win over Florida, 82-64 in the second round on Thursday, that victory sends them to the quarterfinals to face 4th seeded LSU on Friday. Florida kept it close early, trailing just 40-38 at halftime. But Oklahoma flipped the script in the second half, starting with a 10-0 run and outscoring the gators 27-7 in the third quarter, alone. Senior center Reagan-Bears led the way with 18 points in 7 rebounds, even sitting out part of the second quarter. She also hit her 2,000th career point milestone, shooting efficiently at 7-10 from the field. Freshman shown 2, with point guard Aelia Chavez dropping 17 points and Ford, Brooklyn Stewart adding 12 points plus 5 assists off the bench. Half-Mores Iavan chipped in 14 points as well. Oklahoma struggled from 3-point range at only 4 of 19, but crushed Florida inside, outscoring
