Sophomore Guard Dayton Forsythe underwent surgery this week to fix two ankle injuries that plagued him all season. He steps away after a solid role off the bench, averaging 5.3 points, 1.8 assists, and 1.4 rebounds across. 28 games for the Sooners. Forsythe gutted it out most of the year, but limited minutes in January lined up with the team's rough 9-game losing streak. Sooners' group broke the news first on the procedure, leaving the Sooners' short-handed in the back court for the big event. The team now gears up to push forward without him and Vegas.
