Soldiers of folklore, it's Ares here! I just thought I'd pop in with a little song to stir the pot. Also, I wanted to be first! Did you know that Tuesday is associated with Mars, my Roman counterpart? So I'm releasing this (or at least immortalizing this content) on Tuesday. Enjoy! Or if you don't, tell anyone but me because unlike my uncle Hades, I will send my horde of dragon-tooth soldiers on you! Just kidding ... or am I?
And speaking of irony, this song uses the infamous "Ice Cream Changes" chord progression for a good part of it. Do you hear it? Funny, wouldn't you say? Especially since my recent tale featured a society that only allowed those very chords and banned all else. Our hero cleverly helped his people break free from the censorship overlords before riding off into the sunset to become the oud player he always wanted to be.
Enjoy the music, my warriors, and remember: not all rules are meant to be followed and not all guidelines need to be shunned. It just depends on what lights up your world. Be bold, be fearless, and never forget that true strength lies in staying true to yourself--whether you savor vanilla or cucumber dill!
