Officer-Involved Shooting in Alabaster, Alabama

Police in Alabama called in the Alabama Law Enforcement Agency to investigate an officer involved shooting that happened on Tuesday, March 10. It took place around 12.40 pm near Simsville Road, where officers went to serve some outstanding warrants at a home. During the encounter with the person there, one officer fired their weapon, striking the individual. That person suffered non-life-threatening injuries and was rushed to a local hospital, where they remain in stable condition.
