The hijackers target was probably the US Capitol building or the White House. Congress and the president have designated today September 11th this patriot day. The flag should be flown at half staff today. And Americans are asked to observe observe a moment of silence to honor the innocent victims who perish during the worst acts of terrorism ever carried out against the United States. And yet we have young people that are that are entering college this fall on this the 25th anniversary

4:11of the 9-11 attacks. The young people entering college who don't know why the attacks were perpetrated upon us and they don't know who attacked us. And that's a shame. And the only reason that that is is because the lens has changed. We are no longer educating students to look through the lens of life from the perspective of the victim. Instead, instead we are we are told that the the the perpetrator, the villain in the story is misunderstood. It's the villain in the story is he's not at fault. He's merely misunderstood. Here she.

5:14Mamdani has taken has taken to the airwaves has taken to video as you know taken to press conferences and and made statements in regard to the the aftermath of 9-11. The effect that it is you know he's talked about relatives that on that the day is following 9-11 were afraid to wear their hijabs on the subway. And that's who that's who he references. I'm not saying his relatives were were evil. I'm not saying that at all. I'm not saying that that his relatives shouldn't be concerned. But that's not the focus here. The focus is the lives

6:15that were lost. That's the focus. Those are the people that matter today on this day. Those are the people that matter the most. Our culture cares more about understanding the villain than condemning evil. Stories once gave us moral clarity. Think about this. Traditionally there was a hero there was a villain and the hero triumphed. Good always triumphed over evil. And the stories we told gave us that moral clarity. But today today we're getting the villains backstory and a culture sympathetic to evil. Think about it. We we got the Joker movie and we got the Joker's backstory. We understand now why the Joker's evil. Krull and Deville wasn't evil. She was just misunderstood. We got her story.

7:21Maleficent wasn't evil. She was betrayed. We got Maleficent story. The wicked witch wasn't wicked. She was wounded. And of course we got her her backstory. We once admired the hero for their courage, for their honor, for their sacrifice. Now the hero is deconstructed and the villain, well the villain is the one who garners sympathy. Our culture explains the villain and questions the hero. That's the culture we're living. We no longer get the heroes backstory. It's now the villain's backstory. The villain becomes the victim while the hero becomes morally suspect. We seem uncomfortable with goodness. Virtue is portrayed as outdated. Conviction is portrayed as dangerous and morality is intolerant.

8:23We once condemned Deville. Now we excuse it and we call it empathy. Our kids don't need stories that explain human brokenness. They see human brokenness all around them. They need stories that inspire moral courage. Our kids need to know that good is worth choosing. Even when it's hard, even when it's difficult. It's worth choosing. And our kids need to know that good will always prevail in the end. Good will always triumph over evil. Good is always the victor. That's what our kids need to know. That's what our kids need to hear. Our kids need to hear why evil exists. Our kids need to know what evil perpetrated the attacks on 9-11-2001 and our kids need to know why. Why the attacks were perpetrated?

9:25Unfortunately, they don't because we're too busy. Steering a culture that is more interested in helping and the villain. In an understanding that the villain, the villain just needs to be understood. That's all. We need to be sympathetic to what brought the villain here. Oh yeah, it's interesting. It's an interesting story of what brought the villain to the villain's place of action. Oh, it's very interesting. But it shouldn't garner our our sympathy. It shouldn't claim our sympathy. It should make us want to stop the villain. And it should make us want

10:28to punish the villain. This is why we have laws. Laws that are are just laws that are wholesome and laws that are necessary for the public good. This is why we have a constitution. This is why in this country, we operate under the rule of law. And everybody knows everybody knows what the law is. Everybody knows what the consequences of breaking the law become. And therefore, we we are a society that operates under laws. And this is this is how our children should be raised. This is how our children should be should be trained. This is how they they should be educated. And Connecticut saw this news report the other day in Connecticut, a city council mid-sized city in Connecticut sparked anger from the Trump

11:33administration after it city council decided to let potentially violent illegal aliens service cops. Did you see this story? I didn't read the story. I just saw the headline. I don't even know the name of the city. I just saw the headline that that the Trump ad men responded to this small mid-city in Connecticut after the city council overwhelmingly voted to allow illegal aliens to service police officers. The word illegal describes that that one is breaking the law. Illegal it means doing something that goes against the legality of our culture. We have laws for a reason. And would you want someone who's breaking the law to be an officer of that law operating in the peace that that the law is to bring? Is this

12:39an oxymoron or is this just moronic? It's a little bit of both probably a lot of the latter. You cannot have an illegal alien. I'm sorry you can't you cannot have an illegal alien operating as an officer of the law. It is, it doesn't make sense my friends. You know it. I know it. Why doesn't this this city council here in Connecticut? Why don't they know it? Why don't they understand it? Why are they completely clueless? We are a nation of laws. And we have those laws for a reason. And this is how our young people need to be educated. They need to be educated that we should love and fear our laws that we should love and respect

13:41them. And we should love and respect the heroes who defend them. Not the villains who break them. This isn't about the villains who break the law. This is about the heroes who defend it. The New York Police Department that the commission are there. Jessica Tish. She in a speech the other day she demanded some some moral clarity on 9-11. And there's mom mom Donnie right there at her side while she's demanding moral clarity. I want to play a clip from her speech because I think we all need to hear it. I think our young people need to hear it. The words that she said right there in the presence of the mayor. I mean this is important. Roll the clip. The scale of the loss and the devastation that day was unfathomable and so too was the

14:45heroism that we witnessed in response. Preserving that history also means preserving its moral clarity. The men who attacked this city were terrorists. The men and women who ran into the towers to save innocent lives were heroes. Twenty-five years cannot be allowed to blur that distinction and shame on those who do. The courage we remember from September 11th was not confined to a single morning. It was there in the members who moved toward the World Trade Center while thousands of people were desperately trying to escape. It remained. And those who returned to ground zero afterward even while they were grieving friends and colleagues of their own they kept working while families waited for answers and a devastated city depended on them. That service came at a terrible cost and today these names ask something of us in return. They ask us to remember these men and women is more than names or numbers from one of the darkest chapters in our city's

15:50history. To preserve who they were and the extraordinary standard of service they left to those who followed them. Moral clarity. We need some moral clarity on the subject and we can get moral clarity by calling the heroes who they are, the brave men and women of the New York City Fire Department and police department and the medical teams, the first responders that rushed into and around ground zero. Those are the heroes and that's moral clarity. And also issuing and describing and giving moral clarity. We have to call out the villains, speak to the villains and declare the villains so people know who the villains are. And the villains that day were evil radical Islamic terrorists.

16:52This doesn't mean that every member of Islam is an evil terrorists. But those men who attacked that day were radical, radicalized by this version, this evil version that calls for death to America. Those villains need to be called out, not sympathized with, not understood, not placated to not held in a steam, but called out. That's moral clarity. And moral clarity is severely lacking, severely lacking. We care more about the villain than condemning evil. And really the stories that Hollywood has given us over the past, I don't know, decade

Angel or Raphael Nunez just purchased new refrigeration display shelves for fresh produce and the meat counter at his seetown supermarket in the South Bronx. His clean orderly supermarket has been feeding the community for four decades but that's about to come to screeching halt because Nunez is concerned that he might not be able to pay back the loan he took

24:24out to buy the new shelves. Nunez is worried he will lose the business in which he has invested more than 40 years of his life and does Nunez sound like a white man do you? Nunez does not sound like a white man so we're you know my my my my dining and the other communists want to create a class warfare amongst the races. It's the evil white man. Nunez here and others are paying the price you don't have to be white to pay the price. Everybody who lives in and the in the realm of a communist dictator is going to be paying the price. Nunez is full service grocery store on the southern avenue is just four blocks from La Peninsula. La Peninsula is an old juvenile detention center where the New York City economic development

25:29corporation plans to open its first of five city-owned grocery stores all in 2027. Of course the city-owned grocery stores are part of Mayor Zoran Mamdani's plan to fight rising food prices. I mean he's convinced everybody that food prices are rising and we have to we have to fight it. The only way to fight it be victorious is through city-run grocery stores. Yes because it's the city-run grocery stores that will offer a list of staple food items at 30% off. 30% off the going market rate although Nunez really sure how the market price will be calculated that's not been disclosed. That'll be interesting though. The city is searching for a private operator to run the store all five stores. Neither the proposed site here in Manhattan nor the site in the

26:32Bronx could be considered a food desert according to this piece. So the city-owned stores will draw customers from local independent markets. The Bronx location at La Peninsula has at least three full-service supermarkets within half a mile of of of of its planned location. Three. Nunez said that if he had known in advance the city would open a grocery store so close to him he would not have made the investment. I feel extremely upset about what New York is doing he said because they are number one responsible for the reason that the prices in New York City are not lower for food and for the retail industry in general. Nunez said. So it's their fault. Nunez is claiming and yet they're going to sweep in and they're going to plant themselves a grocery store with

27:33three other grocery stores within a mile and they're going to undercut those three other grocery stores by 30% all because food prices are too high we've got to bring them down but in the process and the process they will destroy business in the community. They're going to destroy it. They're going to destroy Nunez's grocery store and the other two that are just down the road because that's what communism does. Nunez said the city is is portraying the situation as if groceries have a monopoly on prices and the city has to step in to break it up by competing against them. Well that's their thing or we're against monopolies. I mean El Sayed keeps saying that I'm not a democratic socialist. I'm just against monopolies. And so these three grocers here and the Bronx have a monopoly. Are they in are they in cahoots?

28:35Is it one corporation that is see they don't understand the definition of a monopoly. Three small family owned individual grocers do not represent a monopoly and this is how the city's presenting it. This is how mom Donnie and the gang are presenting it that there's a monopoly here in the city has to step in and break it up. Nunez said the city has failed to address one to mental cost drivers for retailers which contribute to higher consumer prices. He lists some for example high real estate taxes. The real estate taxes are through the roof in the city of New York and you think mom Donnie could bring those down. If he brought those down don't you think that retailers and grocers would be in a position then to lower their prices.

29:35High energy costs. He lists high insurance. He lists. He said instead of instead of having the tools to go after those problems they come after me. That's what Nunez said. They're coming after me. He said New York is an extremely competitive market. He displayed his weekly promotional coupons here in this article with the Epoch Times. He pointed out items marked down so low that he said he would make no profit and recover only his costs. 30:40Nunez opened his store in 1984 after Bronx grocery store chain Fedko went bankrupt. Nunez said he saw it needed in the community and he decided he would work to meet it. How can I imagine in my life that New York City is one day going to try to compete against my business? He said, well this is unimaginable. You couldn't expect you to imagine that. You would have never dreamed that New York City would be controlled by communists. Nobody dreamed that. On the 25th anniversary here honoring 9-11 and to think that the mayor of the city is a blooming communist just 25 years later. Nunez is on the board of directors of the National Supermarket Association. It's a coalition of independent Grochvers who lobby for the interest of independent store operators. Of course mom Donnie would say it's a monopoly. They've got him

31:46in monopoly. The organization is critical of mom Donnie's approach and has met with the mayor and his team to recommend alternative ways to reduce food prices across the city. Well, yeah you can offer alternatives but the mayor is not interested in your alternatives. He's not going to hear it because his goal is not to reduce food prices across the city. That's not his goal. His goal is to have the city on the grocery stores. His goal is to have the city on the food prices. He's a communist. His goal is to have the government run their production. Not the individual people that they don't matter. They're going to own nothing and they're going to like it. That's his goal. And you're approaching this all wrong. They're all approaching this wrong.

32:47They've got to understand what the goal of the communist is. It's not to reduce food prices. So giving him alternatives is not the answer. You want to know what the answer is? The answer is a recall. That's the answer. The answer is recall the communist and get somebody in there who's a capitalist. That's the answer. That's not the goal. The goal is that he controls the groceries. He controls the grocery stores. And you guess what he's coming for next? He's coming for the retail stores. He's coming for the gas stations. He's coming for the liquor stores. He's coming for all of it. The movie theaters, because ticket prices are too high for the movie. So we're going to, I'm telling you, Pena said the mayor's plan will help only a few neighborhoods rather than all New Yorkers. It's not even going to help a few neighborhoods. In the end, it's going to destroy all neighborhoods. Pena said he wishes the city would support independent groceries and help them find ways to lower the end. They're not going to do it. The National Supermarket Association proposed a plan to the mayor's office, but Pena said the

34:56independent groceries could only agree to hold static prices on fresh, perishable food items for 15 days. If they held them longer and prices rose over those 30 days, they could lose a lot of money on an item by the end of the month. But you know, the, the economy is doing understand that. What Mamdani has called for a setting prices on a list of basics for 30 days. In a July 27th statement in Brooklyn, has he announced 30% discount to be offered at the city on Stores, Mamdani said, no exceptions, no gimmicks. The savings will last for the entire month. And then what happens at the end of the month? I'm just, I'm telling you what, New York City, they're in trouble. My friends, the mayor's approach here at a variety of press, press conferences,

35:57press events has been to make it clear that his aim is to stabilize prices for low-income families and seniors in order to reduce food insecurity. Listen to this, this direct quote here from the mayor, we are not looking to compete with grocery stores when it comes to their ability to survive. What we're looking to do is to provide affordability that is guaranteed to New Yorkers. All right, so the language here is important. We got to pay attention to what they're saying. We are not looking, he says, to compete with grocery stores. We're not looking to do this. I mean, it's, but regardless of the fact that we're actually competing with grocery stores, we're not looking to compete with grocery stores. Even though that's exactly what they're doing, they're competing with grocery stores and they know up, but they're not looking to compete with

37:00grocery stores when it comes to their ability to to to to survive. So that makes it okay. It makes it all right. We're not looking to do this. But yet it's exactly what you're doing. What we're looking to do, he said, is to provide affordability that is guaranteed to New Yorkers. And yet they're not going to provide affordability that's guaranteed. Because eventually this scheme is going to fail. So what they're looking to do and what they're not looking to do is is flipped. Whatever they're not looking to do, they're doing it. And whatever they're looking to do, they're not doing it. And they say that the language is specific. I'm telling you, it's it's on purpose. We are not looking to compete. I mean, we are though competing. That is.

38:04The mayor said the grocery market is big enough for the more than 1000 existing grocery stores in the five city groceries. Then if you've got 1000 existing grocery stores, what's the point? What are five grocery stores going to do? Are five city run grocery stores really going to reduce prices that much in the city? You've got 1000 grocery stores. Are five going to do it? Really truly? No, they're not. They're not going to put a dent in rising food costs. What they're going to do is debilitate the grocery store market. That's what they're intended to do. And that's what they're going to do. The city owned grocery stores, according to a mandami, are intended to be a novelty and a destination for people from other neighborhoods. Well, if they're intended to be a destination and a novelty, then you're going to

39:13hurt the 1000 existing grocery stores. You're going to hurt them. If you want this to be a destination, you want people leaving other neighborhoods to come to your grocery store. And then you say we're not looking to compete with grocery stores. Ideally, he says strengthening the neighborhood, including existing supermarkets, because this is going to be a novelty and a destination. Some people say the novelty is going to wear off. I mean, it will, but to what extent? And at what point will the damage already be done? No studies have been done to evaluate the impact on the local business community. And they're not going to be done. Because the communists don't want to know what the impact is going to be on the local business community. So that's the gist of a lawsuit that's been filed. It was filed on August 24th by the multicultural

The citizens of New York City are just going to roll over and let a communist mayor steamroll them. Two lawsuits have been filed against New York City by the Multicultural Business Coalition. This is a group representing roughly a thousand minority-owned delis, supermarkets, bedegas, and they argue that the mayor's plan to open city run grocery stores will drive them out of business rather than help their neighborhoods. They're arguing correctly, by the way. The Coalition filed a class action complaint in New York County Supreme Court in August 24th alleging anti-trust violations in predatory

43:26pricing and a second suit filed the same day alleging that the city retaliated against members after they began organizing against the mayor's plans. The mayor's office wouldn't do that. They wouldn't retaliate. And why they're good communists? Not those evil communists. Only the evil ones retaliate. Together the two suits mark one of the most direct legal challenges yet to one of mom Donnie's marquee policies. So here's the first complaint. It states that the defendant's municipal grocery stores deny the class members hundreds of grocers, many small grocers. It's denying them equal protection as they are not able to offer discounts that markedly depart from globalized commerce thereby violating New York City civil rights law.

44:26That's a direct quote. The second suit states the following. At the opening of the underlying municipal grocery stores is diametrically opposed to the city's longstanding reasons for refusing to allow Walmart to operate grocery stores in the city. At the fallout from allowing Walmart to operate deep discount business while bringing affordability further enriching a multi-billion dollar business would eliminate an untold amount of opportunity for minority businesses and small businesses at large. Bum bum bum bum. Mom Donnie responded to the suits the same day they were filed. In an August 24th news conference he said I'm confident in both the legality of this that will stand up court and the importance of delivering it. 45:32chambers of commerce said the mayor's confidence misses what's actually at stake for the coalition members. Here's what he told the epoch times.
