Now, the now-closed nursery has admitted corporate manslaughter and worker Kimberly Cookson pleaded guilty to gross negligence manslaughter. Staff there had risky habits like covering baby's heads to make them sleep, which could cause overheating or suffocation. Cookson, who was 20 at the time, even used her leg to hold Noah still for about seven minutes, as caught on CCTV. These were way below safe standards for infants. Noah's parents shared heartbreaking statements in court. His mom called him an answered prayer who brought calm to her life, but said she handed him to people who killed him and can't forgive. His dad said the loss hits every corner of their world, Noah deserved to grow up safe.
