For six years, she's been slinging unique eats like Ramen Barrier, Barrier Tacos, Hot Chito Barrier Balls, Barrier Pizza, Funnel Cakes, Aguachile and ceviche from her two-go window at the original Kansas City Kansas location on North 18th Street, that original spot stays open as renovations wrap up on the new place. In the meantime, Nunez parks her food truck right outside, teasing the neighborhood with samples of her bold flavors. Nunez says she thrives on seeing folks enjoy her food more than any spotlight.
