Nottingham Police Seek Suspects in Tram Driver Chemical Attack

0:00On March 12th, police in Nottingham are trying to identify four young people after a tram driver was attacked with a chemical spray. The incident happened on February 5th at 8 p.m. on Shipstone Street in Heisen Green. The driver had just stepped out of his tram cabin when someone sprayed him with what police suspect was a corrosive cleaning fluid. Some of the liquid got into the driver's eye, causing soreness and discomfort, but thankfully no serious or lasting damage. On Thursday, Nottinghamshire Police shared images of the four suspects, believing they hold key information for the investigation. Officers are urging anyone who recognizes them to come forward right away by contacting Nottinghamshire Police as they were to wrap up this case.
