At Sin Fein's annual conference last Friday, members voted by a slim edge to support a ban, though some worry it'll hit their role support hard. Party leader Mary Lou McDonald backs it too, saying grassroots voices shaped their stance. They haven't spelled out their play for this round yet. The bill dropped formally on Monday with no debate so far.
