Only five flights managed to take off and reach their destinations that morning. Travelers are feeling the pinch, stuck waiting or scrambling for new plans amid the unexpected winter mix. Some destinations are dealing with their own problems too, like thunderstorms, causing a ground stop at Reagan Washington National Airport in, Washington DC. Things are looking up later in the day. After 3.30 pm, 16 flights are set to depart on time. One late flight to DC remains canceled, but the rest of the afternoon schedule holds steady for now.
