What started as thousands of people without power is down to a few hundred, as crews continued to work. Thunderstorms that rolled through the area last night and this morning are to blame for most of the issues. At this time, integrity customers seem to be in the clear. Hydra One has crews out and is estimating that all power in the area should be restored by five this evening. CK police have charged a man with disarming a police officer and resisting arrest. It happened last night outside a home on Old Glass Road in Wallaceburg. Police say officers were talking to the man about entering private properties when he grabbed an officer's gun. After initially struggling to subdue the man, police were able to arrest him and get the fire on back. A regional children's hospital is dispelling myths about the dangers of e-scooters, as more kids and teens are getting seriously hurt. Reporter Natalia Vega says the

1:05children's hospital at London Health Sciences Center recently released an advisory. After 58 e-scooter-related injuries were reported between April and June. Dr. Shina Belyal says while some injuries are relatively minor, they're also seeing patients with broken bones, significant cuts, facial injuries, and concussions. One myth the hospital noted was you don't need a helmet for a short trip. When in reality, many serious injuries happen close to home. Another example of a myth was that e-scooters are just toys, but the hospital says their motorized vehicles capable of causing significant injuries. They've shared a full list of myths versus realities and are encouraging families to talk about road safety and responsible e-scooter use. I'm Natalia Vega.
