In the true spirit of India’s upcoming series against England, we’re one-upping the London busses: no podcast for two years, then two episodes in two weeks.

In the meantime, we have a new third man, better than the old third man in so many ways, but most importantly because he brings us inside info from Chennai, venue of the first two Tests of the India-England series. The lowdown: while they attempt to avoid blundering their way to more humiliating defeats, England might like how the Chepauk pitch looks. Of course, we are not shallow people, overly obsessed with looks, and we’re certain that a shade of green on the pitch won’t save England from the horrors that lie underneath the surface.
