Welcome to the Take the Point NFL Player Prop Show. For week number two, I am your host, EC. It is great to have you with us. Before we bring in the starts of the show, let's see how we did last week on the recap screen in eight and eight week one. Hey, it's better than losing. We were one Malik Willis rushing yard away from having a positive week. Let's see if we can get back on track this week. Let's bring in the stars of the show. We have Professor Prop stars. We have Professor Siena Shahad and we have, as I like to call him, Professor Emeritus, the Hall of Famer, Uncle Dave, Dave Richard. Uncle Dave, you don't have any picks this week, but you're going to do something a little different on this program. Yeah, I'm going to be more of an evaluator. This is a one week only thing. I had a really rough week. I had some family stuff come up. Nothing bad actually. Good family stuff that came up, but it took me away from doing my primary job, which
is fantasy football analysis for CBS sports. And I also might be a little guilty of watching too much film and may have dug into that a little bit more than I should have. But here I am. I didn't want to half-ass it and give a bunch of picks that weren't thoroughly researched. I think that would have been a disservice to you guys out there watching. Certainly would have been a disservice to our record as a collective. So no picks for me. Instead here's what I'm going to do. I will evaluate all of your picks, EC, Propy, SEA. And if I feel a certain way, I will give it a rating like maybe a .25 unit rating or a .5 unit rating or a 1 unit rating or the best rating that you can have, a 2 unit superstar rating. I will do that for any pick that I have a feeling about. Love it Uncle Dave. We're always glad to have you on the show. Even if you don't make picks, you will provide a bunch of expert insight for us. And by the way, for those of you in the chat, make sure to submit your questions.
We will all answer them throughout the show. Propy, I know you want to talk about a guy that we saw last night. Dalton Kincai. I know you're a big fan. What do you make of his performance throughout the first two weeks? Yeah, I've been extremely impressed with Dalton Kincai, who has long been one of the most efficient tight ends in the NFL. But now that a snap share has significantly increased, we're seeing the fruits of that really come to fruition here. Dalton Kincai again with another monster week two performance firmly in trench. Looks to be Josh Allen's top target in the passing game. And with DJ Moore potentially out for week three, I think his receiving prop could raise as high as I think it might fall somewhere between 58 and 62 yards. Obviously, we don't know. DJ Moore's status, yes. Yet looks like he avoided a significant injury. But Dalton Kincai continues to show out. Looks extremely impressive. He's on the field. The snap share is basically doubled.
Even despite playing limited snaps last season and the season prior, he was still one of the most efficient tight ends in the NFL. His underlying metrics has always been impressive. It's always kind of befuddled me why this guy wasn't on the field more. So it's really nice to see new head coach Joe Brady, unlocked Dalton Kincai. He made a couple of good blocks last night too. So highly, highly impressed with Dalton Kincai. I also backed him last night over his receiving yards and his receptions. So we doubled dipped with Dalton Kincai and got rewarded in a week two. We'll see if you go back to the well next week in week three. You know, you've known me for, you know, what, three, four years now. And you know that I kind of panic in the early season. I don't want to admit, Uncle Dave, but I'm one of my fantasy teams. I literally traded the whole team away after week one because I panicked. See, after I, you don't even want to know Dave what I did. See, regarding props though, how do you feel about guys who disappointed in week one?
Are we out? Are you somebody who is, okay, just hold the line? Like there's some players that we're going to talk about today that maybe weren't as good in week one. Are you selling? Are you just, are we in a hold pattern? It's funny. You should ask that and we did not discuss this ahead of time. I would say of my four player props. Every single one of them is a guy who disappointed people in fantasy or maybe in the prop market week one. And for the record, I'm not necessarily taking them because their stock is so low and like I've got to take it situationally. I think they're in a better spot. And also, you also have to look at box scores versus utilization and game script and things of that nature. Sometimes, there might be like a like bucket yearning for example or even a Marian Hampton, for example, the game scripts there were very, very odd to just to put it lightly. So I don't want to overreact. I don't want to under react. But I'm certainly going to jump on guys where the stock is maybe a little too low because people are box score watching from week one. All right, Dave, you get the last word before we get to props. What do you think about over reacting to week one? I'll know what this guy did right here.
I don't know if you want to hear what I have to say, but it's a bad idea to overact to week one. And it's especially, it's important to stay level headed just about everything involving sports because think about it. There are weeks that aren't week one where a player under performs and we expect them to do well. We say over, they go under, we start them in fantasy, they give us five fantasy points. And it's frustrating and it comes out of nowhere. It's the nature of humanity and the nature of athletics. It happens. When it happens the first week though, we go bonkers over it. Or I shouldn't say we, you EC go bonkers over it because I don't. I really think it depends on the player in the situation. Most players that under one for fantasy and week one, I'm not sweating it. But there are a few and one of them is like Drake May as an example. Really didn't like the way that he came out and played on the first three quarters against Seattle. Really don't like the idea of him putting up big numbers without AJ Brown on the field.
I am real curious to see how the next month goes for Drake May. And if I have him on my fantasy teams and I do have him on quite a few of my fantasy teams, I'm looking for another quarterback. Now is that panicking? Maybe a little bit, but it's also reality. He doesn't have a stopper seer. He looked like crap. Schedules going to be tough for him. I think it's rational to make pivots based on offseason and preseason beliefs, but it's got to be based on something very significant in order to do it. I panicked. I made some awful trades, but that's for another story. Let's get to picks at his time for wide receiver picks. We're going to start with the bang guys. Propy has a two unit play. Now Propy the last time you and I, when we had a two unit play involved, it was the Super Bowl a couple of years ago. And I gave out Samashe P. Ryan and you yelled at me on the show saying it was a horrible play and guess what? You were right about that. You're two unit play as a much bigger player. Let's hear who it is and why. Today's episode is brought to you by Alma. What if the small things actually felt small, like getting out of bed when you said you would?

Get started now at helloalma.com. That's helloalma.com. Yeah, it's Justin Jefferson. I would also craft this by stating this is my first unit play of the season. This is a multi-position for me. So the extreme level of confidence in Justin Jefferson.
I was so impressed with Justin Jefferson. Week one really displayed all of the traits that have made him arguably the most productive wide receiver in NFL history through his career from a yardage standpoint. He looked awesome week one. And I expect that to carry over in week two and what is a very soft match up against the Chicago defense that just got torched by Bryce Young and company, Jalen Coker, etc. So love this spot for Justin Jefferson who was the clear focal point of the Minnesota passing attack. I really like this match up again against Chicago for its twofold. One hand because Chicago is certainly capable of pushing Minnesota and then also because Chicago's defense, particularly on the back end, is not good at all. So I love this match up for him. And then Carson wins a quarterback. This is a six starter. This will be his seventh start with Justin Jefferson under center.
And Carson Wenz has not only looked good throwing the football in a Kevin O'Connell offense. I would argue that every quarterback besides JJ McCarthy inside of a Kevin O'Connell offense has thrived. But he really locks on to Justin Jefferson. So this line opened at 71 and a half receiving yards. I bounced on it, made it a two unit play, specifically said I expect this line to close upwards of 80 and a half. It's currently sitting at 77 and a half on most major books right now. And I do anticipate this one's going to close in the neighborhood of 80 yards. But in every single start with Carson Wenz under center, he's had at least 75 receiving yards. He's averaged 11 targets per game, seven receptions and 90 receiving yards. So this is a spot in my opinion that Justin Jefferson can go absolutely thermo nuclear. This one checks all the boxes. It's a great match up. I view Carson Wenz close to an upgrade or at least similarly a decrylamory as far as his
chemistry is concerned with Justin Jefferson and his willingness to feed the rock. All the underlying metrics were just as equally as impressive as the I test with Justin Jefferson. So I think this match up has massive upside for Jefferson, the easily clear 100 yards. But this line had no business opening as low as 71 and a half, which it did. And hopefully everyone watching this was able to pounce on this with me. We had three propi adjectives in his dictionary or phrases should I say massive upside extreme level of confidence in thermo nuclear. There's the pick that you can see on sports line. But you do change lines. I have mentioned this when you and I are on shows, I always say this and I waited to say it a little bit later today. You change lines when you put something out and this one did it. Uncle David, come to you. Do you agree with propi's confidence in a two unit play for this Justin Jefferson prop? I'm there. I'm with him on it. I think two units is a lot, but I totally understand why he likes it.
Let me give you a couple of other pointers. Why I think this match up is favorable. Number one, propi talked about it. The Carson Wentz, Justin Jefferson connection. There were plays on film where Jordan Addison was wide open and Justin Jefferson was not open. And guess who got the ball from Carson Wentz? It was Justin Jefferson. So that's the first thing. The second thing is this Vikings team last week, they wound up playing with obviously with the lead, but they ran the ball at the fifth highest rate of any team in football in week one. They just lost Jordan Mason. Aaron Jones is their running back. Even if they did have the lead against Chicago, I'd be surprised if they had a run rate north of 50% this week. I think they throw it more. I agree 100% that Chicago's offense will push the Vikings into a high scoring game. I also agree that the Chicago pass rush is a problem for the Bears. And we know that when Carson Wentz is under pressure, like most quarterbacks, he falls
apart. When he's not under pressure, he can make those tight window throws, Justin Jefferson. I like this play a lot. And I think there's even a case made to ladder it. If you can get it at decent number at 80, at 85 and at 90. Let's throw 100 in there. What the heck, Uncle Dave? We want to make some big money on this. Oh, boy. You're right. When propi's using three phrases in one explanation, that's when you know you got to go big. See, you're next play. There you go. Properties. There it is right there. Graphic on the screen. See, I love this, this next play for you. And this was a player that I actually looked at and I was going to give out. And I'm glad you're going to talk about George Pickens, which way do you lean this week? Okay. First of all, I got to go back to Minnesota just for a second. That game's in Chicago. Jason here. It's pointing out that there might be some rain. I don't really think that affects any of the plays that we just talked about. But I do want to say there is going to be rain along the East Coast. It might be something to check in on Sunday morning. With that said, speaking of laddering, Jordan Addison was on the field the entire game last
week. Now, he only got two targets. But don't forget Carson Wentz entered that game, not expecting to play. They've had an entire week. They go against a very bad defense. If you want to ladder somebody, feel free to ladder Jordan Addison. And by the way, what what a, I was going to say Justin Jefferson. Oh, by the way, the 71 and a half that that propi got on sports line. That is such a good reason to become a member of sports line. Let me just put that out there because that line has obviously changed. But I think Jordan Addison is going to get way more looks in this game, especially if Minnesota is trailing. And Jordan Addison is a good receiver. So if you want to ladder somebody, I think that's also a very good candidate to ladder. Let's go to this Washington game, but we're not going to have to worry about whether in Dallas. George Pickens over 62 and a half receiving yards. First of all, I like a lot in this game. We'll talk about it later. This is not my only prop in this game. People were tweeting at us about receivers they like in this game, like Stefan Diggs. Antonio Williams, we can get to that later in the show. But I really like George Pickens here against the Washington secondary. That's not really going to be able to hold them back. Now this Washington defense is a little bit better than they were last year. They made some additions.
We saw those additions pay off in week one against the Eagles. But the secondary is still a huge problem. What we see from this Washington defense against the Eagles is they blitzed a lot. They came after Jaylen Hertz and it worked in large part. I don't think that's going to work against Dallas. I think they're going to be okay against Javante Williams and the running game. But I think they're going to take some swings and misses when it comes to coming after Dach. That means CDLAM is going to have a nice game. George Pickens is going to have a nice game. You look at George Pickens last week. Very bad game. You only have what was it? Three catches on six targets. Don't forget he drew a PI and don't forget he dropped a ball that he doesn't normally drop way down the field. I think Pickens is going to be featured just as much or maybe a little less so than CDLAM. That should get them there. Let's go over 62 and a half receiving yards. I'd play this up to probably 64, maybe even 65 and a half. Go ahead, Propy. I would also add regarding Pickens. He did have three 20 plus yard passing attempts from Dach, which you absolutely love to see. Really, that's his bread and butter. He gets targeted down field, drawing that many valuable targets.
This is always a great thing for George Pickens. Those would have made a massive difference in his box score. Ultimately failed to catch all three of those passes. That's what you want to see. Dach also played well in that football game. I do like the spot for George Pickens as well. That was a prop. I strongly have considered here. I was encouraged by Dach's performance. The Cowboys willingness to throw the football. Pickens also still getting targeted down the field. He's a little boom bust because of his role and because his A dot is routinely so deep. He looks up at one of those deep shots. We're looking at a much different George Pickens line. Pickens line from week one. This is definitely a more advantageous matchup heading in a week two in my opinion as well. See ya. Go ahead. Yeah, real quick follow up. One thing when you look at the Dallas box, who were especially on offense, we know Javante had that big game and there really wasn't much else. Part of the reason for that is because the Giants offense was on the field almost the entire game. There was only a couple of drives for Dallas in the second half. That's not going to happen with Washington.
Washington will be able to move the ball here and there against that defense, but it's going to be completely different, especially in Dallas. That offense will be on the field a lot more than the week prior. You're going to see a lot more stats to rack up for Dallas in week two. Uncle Dave, we're going to do a multiple choice after Poppy gives his next pick in which of these two picks do you like better? So Poppy, your next pick, so George Pickens a lot of fantasy drafts went in the second round, maybe the third round. This player did as well. Who is it and why do you like him? Yeah, it's inexplicable to me and it's Tramick Bride. For some reason the entire fantasy basketball community was down on Tramick Bride heading into the season and apparently there's nothing to worry about because Jacobi Percent is under center for the Arizona Cardinals and I'm backing Tramick Bride here to have another big week two performance. But I was extremely encouraged by what we saw in week one. Really the Cardinals as a whole were extremely impressive on all sides of the football frankly.
As long as Jacobi Percent is under center he clearly has tremendous, tremendous chemistry with Tramick Bride who is as good as any past catching tight end really just a lead in that category. So we talked about splits between Carson Wenz and Justin Jefferson when Jacobi Percent is under center he rightfully locks on to Tramick Bride who is the clear focal point of this Arizona passing attack. Much more difficult matchup heading into week two against the Seattle defense that looks like it could be the best defense is certainly a top three defense in the NFL but Seattle has long struggled dealing with Tramick Bride and they have two safeties who play quite a bit who are likely to miss this game as well. So I expect Tramick Bride to once again be heavily featured here. I was shocked with this line opened as low as it did around 59 and a half.
I personally make this line 67 and a half and still lean over even though it is a difficult matchup. I think this is a matchup that Tramick Bride can win. I think he is as good as the player as any player as position that he's difficult to cover especially being a tie then. So yeah I love this spot for Tramick Bride to continue to roll here. Arizona ran the football quite a bit in week one and still managed to provide Tramick Bride with a very large target share first re target rate etc. So he's going to continue to be the engine of this passing game and I like to follow it up with another big week against the Seahawks. All right Uncle Dave, are we going George Pickens over 62 and a half or Tramick Bride over 59 and a half, which is the preferred play for you? I don't like that you're making me pick between my two favorite degenerate nephews and I have three degenerate nephews but let's be objective here and I'm going to go with
McBride and the overarching reason for it is because it's two reasons. Number one, it's what Propy Dool Dandy said about Perset and how he always has had this track record of leaning into his tight ends. Certainly has been doing that with Tramick Bride. Here's the other thing. Seattle plays a lot of heavy zone coverage. They don't like man to man and that's going to open things up underneath for the Cardinals and who's the guy that gets a bunch of those underneath middle of the field targets. Last week he had a ton of targets, only one of those targets went further than 10 area yards down the field. So he's going to continue to just rack up stats this way. There was a fantasy analyst who had Tramick Bride as his number one tight end this year and it's me and I'm really proud that I stuck with that. I know a lot of other people said Brock Bowers was the guy and it's a little unfair because Brock Bowers hasn't played yet but we've seen Tramick Bride start the season strong. I think he'll continue to put up good numbers. I do like the over on his yardage. All right, I'm going to throw in a wide receiver prop here. This one has a 100% regular season hit rate.
So we're going to see if I'm the jinx this week. Jacoby Myers over 36 and a half receiving yards at minus 114. Since he came to Jacksonville from Las Vegas last November, Myers has posted 39 or more yards in all 10 regular season games. He went four catches 45 yards on eight targets last December in this same matchup in Denver. And I think Denver's going to bounce back. We'll talk about that a little bit later in the show and Jacksonville to be down a little bit in the fourth quarter and throwing so the game script in the second half should be in our favor. Last week he had two catches 40 yards against the Browns and was taken out of the game early because obviously the Browns stink. I think Jacoby Myers goes over 37 yards for the 11th straight regular season game. All right, Uncle Dave. I just have to ask you every one of my props. I have to ask you, do you approve of this one? I wouldn't play it just because it's it's Jacoby Myers and I think he's at best second fiddle and they're going to split second fiddle in terms of target volume and Jacksonville for game to game.
And he lines up wide more than 60% of the time. So there's going to be some times out there where he's one on one with Pats or Tan and that's not a matchup that I feel good about Myers in. I also agree with you though that I think this will be a competitive game and that Denver's defense bounces back. I just I just wouldn't play it because I typically stay away from players that are more role players and not like star players and that's something that's always helped me out when it comes to managing not just the overall volume of my bets but the bank roll along with it. Proppy. Certainly an interactive number. You see, but he draws a very difficult match up even though Denver got absolutely torched by Kansas City's rushing attack. They still play on the boundaries extremely exceptionally well. So he's going to have to tangle with Denver's outside corners, which is no easy task. I would also caution you not to rely on game script in a game with a two and a half point spread. So there's no guarantee that Jacksonville is going to be past heavy.
We've seen them mean into the run and be very balanced. So I look at this as a difficult matchup. Certainly for any outside perimeter wide receivers, although it is an attractive number, I would agree. I'm going with 100% hit rate and I hope if I'm the jinx, I'll never do that again on the show. I promise. That's that. All right. Proppy, everyone more wide receiver prop a guy that I really liked before the season. And I'm really curious to hear what Dave says after you make your pick. But this one you're laying a lot of juice with Matthew Golden against the Jets. I am indeed. Yeah. I'm backing Matthew Golden here. And if you've been a sports line follower, I'm sure CEO will get a chuckle of this. Matthew Golden has been someone much behind really because I had a season long bet with Larry Hartstein regarding him. But Matthew Golden, I am firmly a believer now, especially after watching that week one performance. Really what was unbelievable was a 31% first read target rate. What that indicates to me is that the packers went into that game plan with Matthew Golden
being the focal point of the passing attack. So I was extremely encouraged, even though Christian Watson had the massive box score with the two touchdowns. Matthew Golden was frequently Jordan loves first read. And he ended up with more targets. And he was the chain mover and he was looking at him on crucial third down. So I think that's going to continue to be the case in week two. Obviously don't expect Jordan love maybe to drop back quite as many times. I think Matthew Golden is for real. I think he's made a significant jump heading into year two. Even if we actually look, I looked at a lot of his underlying metrics from his rookie season. When he was on the field, he was drawing first read targets at an impressive rate. And that typically carries over to a lot of production. So it's clear that the Green Bay coaches believe in Matthew Golden. And Jordan love trust Matthew Golden. And I think he's being undervalued both in the reception market in addition to the yards
here. I'm going to go over receptions, but I also like him to go over 48 and a half receiving yards. As I think this packer offense is really going to have to be pass heavy. And I think Matthew Golden is going to be a big beneficiary of that. So I think he's poised for a big season. I think he has a big week two. And he clearly has a trust that Jordan love. Dave, when I went on the FFT draftathon with Sia and we joined you the other week. And I mentioned Matthew Golden. You gave me the Ken Bay Matumbo on Matthew Golden. Where do you stand with Propies prop this week? Well, it's a little bit different when it's a low reception total like this one at three and a half. And I agree 100% on how I think the packer's offense is going to be pretty much every week this year, where they're going to have to throw all out. Their defense really fell apart last week. What I do have some worries about their offensive line. But Matthew Golden has carved out a very solid role in this packer's offense after all. 87% route run rate last week, almost exclusively an outside receiver or perimeter wide receiver.
And I just can't help but look at the target volume at 12 and say, all right, even if that number comes down considerably, even if it gets down to seven targets, it's still a good opportunity. Or should I say, opportunity for him to see four or five catches in the game. And the jet defense was pretty good last week, but it was against Tennessee. Not sure if I'm necessarily buying that. I like this one. I would put this at one unit. I think that this is worth it for Matthew Golden. And then we're not just buying in on, oh, we had 12 targets in six catches last week. He's a different guy. It's the role that he played. And it's the fact that the packers thinned out this receiving group over the off season. And now they don't really have a choice. But to use Christian Watson, Matthew Golden, Jayden Reed. And I can't help myself in a matchup that I think is going to be high scoring. The ball is going to be put in the air a lot. Jordan loves certainly capable of doing well. He will look for Matthew Golden in this game. Probably Matthew Golden had absolutely elite usage in week one. I'm talking about like in the Jamar chase, Justin Jefferson realm.
So I mean, even though I've been some of bearish on Matthew Golden historically, the eyes don't lie. And yeah, the usage was absolutely off the charts for Matthew Golden. I don't think it's a fluke either. I'm just looking at this packer scene and Dave talked about it. I just do not think they're going to be able to run the ball effectively. I look at their offensive line. This might be one of the worst offensive lines in the NFL. So yeah, I think the packers identity, especially with the woes on defense without Mike a Parsons, they're going to have to continue to air the ball out. I think they're ultimately going to be one of the most pass heavy teams in the league. And they also like to play heavy personnel as well. So that means not a lot of Jayden Reed on the field. He wasn't very effective when he was targeted last week either. So I do think Matthew Golden and the two wide receiver sets because it's him in Christian Watson is going to continue to be on the field of time. And I think they're going to continue to pass a turn as well.
See I want to ask you about DeMarcus Robinson ghost 5961 asks over one and a half perceptions. Get it now at minus one 41. Are you going to get it now according to? I like that quite a bit actually. I almost came to the show with DeMarcus Robinson over 25 and a half receiving. I think it might have opened at 24 and a half. You know, it's a little part of the problem with that. I think if it was going to be a normal game script, I would love DeMarcus Robinson and maybe his number would be a little higher like 28 and a half or something. So you never know what you're going to see from that 49ers offense in the second half against the Miami Dolphins, but I do expect Brock Purti to sling it around a little bit even when they're playing from the lead. And DeMarcus Robinson is going to be on the field and he's a trusted target particularly down field. So I actually looked at his yardage versus his over one and a half perceptions. I looked at his longest reception as well, which I think is in that 1718 range. For me, if I was going to bet anything on DeMarcus Robinson, it would be his yardage over 25 and a half. Well Dave Jason in the chat asked the question that I was actually going to ask you a little bit later in the show, Colston Loveland, no cat, they scored 59 last week.
And he got a donut. Is he hurt? What do you make of it? What do you go with Colston Loveland here? He's fine. And he had plays called for him and there were moments where he was open and Caleb Williams just in CM or Caleb Williams did CM and missed him with the throw. So I think that the Bears rectify that to a degree. Chicago has an embarrassment of riches at wide receiver. Odundsay had that great moss like catch down the sideline. Luther Burton is someone who's going to make plays for them. And then Khalifa Raymond is someone that Ben Johnson is known back to his Detroit days. He was actually working as that short area target. So whenever there was pressure on Caleb Williams, he was the check down guy. It wasn't Loveland. It wasn't Burton. That was a little disheartening for fantasy managers. I think that we can start Loveland again this week. A matchup that I think they're going to need to throw shorter and quicker passes because the Vikings do bring a heavy blitz. The ball's going to need to be out quick from Caleb Williams. Proper. You are the biggest Colston Loveland supporter that I know.
And Big Cheesy says in the chat that Loveland's going to bounce back. Do you agree? Absolutely. I agree. Yeah. I was actually still encouraged. He had the highest snap share of any tight end in the NFL in week one. He was running routes. He didn't materialize. That's going to happen. Obviously, they were spreading the ball all over the place. Luther Burton had a pretty underwhelming stat line as well. I think that ends up being Khalif Raimans biggest game, although I would agree that obviously Ben Johnson really trusts Khalif Raimans. Who I do think is poised for somewhat of a role here. But I'm not worried whatsoever with Colston Loveland. Dave mentioned Minnesota, this Vikings defense. This has been a calling card of Brian Flores. They blitz at the highest rate in the NFL. Caleb Williams held on to the football in that matchup against Carolina. I believe more than any other quarterback, the average time per dropback besides Malik Willis if I'm not mistaken here.
So that's not going to be the case against Minnesota who blitz at the highest rate in week one and also historically while Brian Flores has been coordinating the defense. So I anticipate Caleb having to get rid of the ball quickly. I've been Colston Loveland is primed for a big bounce back. I was waiting to see because there is a little bit of, I guess, worry or doubt in the market. If his line would drop a little bit more. And if that is the case, I'm going to pounce on him. But I do love Colston Loveland. Just as bullish as ever on him. All right, Uncle Dave. Quick, multiple choice question for you from Skip Beasy in the chat. Jalen Waddle over 52 and a half or Parker Washington over 57 and a half, which is the preferred play. Washington, no question. Okay. And there you have it. All right. See, it's time for some running backs. And I believe if I remember correctly last week, you had an O'Marion Hampton prop. And I mean, he looked great. And then the chargers just fell apart.
So you do kind of my theory is you go back to the well and you're doing the same this week. You know, it was really unfortunate because I ended up going one and two last week. Hit the VLA one, lost the Marvin Harrison one, which I mean, by the way, boy did he look bad. So hate to bring that up, but it's the reality I lived in last week. What's interesting about Marvin Harrison, by the way, he did have 33 yards on that one catch. And if the game script was what we thought it might be, he just needed a 20 yard catch, even less to catch my play. Nonetheless, the game script was out of control. And I hate to be so reliant on game script. And I don't know that I have to be particularly in this case against Vegas. I mean, they're at home. They were thoroughly embarrassed last week, not just because they played poorly, but because the game plan was kind of ridiculous. And then a lot of things that Justin Herbert did were like Drake Mayish. They got a blocked punt like everything that could have gone wrong kind of went wrong. So what do you do? You go back to basics and you lean on O'Marion Hampton. Now there are some questions with this offensive line, especially in the interior. There are some, hey, maybe good things we're seeing from that Raiders Rush Defense.
In week one, I'm going to throw that away because it was the dolphins. But even last year, this was a decent Rush Defense. But we've got O'Marion Hampton projected for 16 carries. It wouldn't surprise me if he got to 17. And all you need there is four yards of carry in a neutral or positive game script, hopefully for the chargers. I think this is a really good line. I think he's going to average way more than four yards per carry personally. And I think he's going to hit this number. But I don't think it needs much because of the volume that he's going to get. Give me the over 62 and a half Russian yards. All right. Propheum going to come to you. Since we're talking about running backs, we're talking about over a guy that was referenced earlier in the show, Bay-Shall Tutin of the Jaguars at Denver, which way are you going? Yeah, we're going over just 47 and a half Russian yards for a Tutin here. I was, again, encouraged by the week one performance and his usage. I've been impressed with Tutin since he's been in the league. I think the underlying metrics really paint a positive picture. I think he's going to be the featured back.
We saw obviously Chris Rodriguez and the Quaint Allen not really play. But Chris Rodriguez mixed in quite a bit. But Liam Cohen has been absolutely effusive in his praise for Bay-Shall Tutin all during this week. I'm paying very close attention regarding this Jaguars backfield. I think we're going to see him ultimately end up with about 65% of the team's rushing attempts, which is a pretty healthy number. I like this match up quite a bit. I recall last week we were talking about Kenneth Walker and I specifically talked about Denver's rushing defense, really cratered down the stretch last season. Over the last five games, they were porous. Those were games they were trying to win. We saw them get absolutely shredded by this KC, rushing attack led by Kenneth Walker. I think Jacksonville will be able to run the football effectively. I don't think this Denver defense is nearly as scary as they were early on last season or
as they are on paper as they were thought to be. I think they're going to play as bad and give up an 180 yard performance to Tutin, absolutely not. 47 and a half rushing yards for a guy who I think is likely to get 13 to 15 carries. This is well within his range of outcomes. I think he's a very underrated good running back. The week one performance, while it may not jump off the stat sheet, this guy breaks tackles at an elite level in my opinion. Also his elusive rate was top five as well at all running back position. This is a guy in my opinion that has upside that has been untapped. I just think this Jaguar steam can effectively run the football against Denver. I think Tutin will have a great shot of Eclipse in 50 yards here. Don't worry, Uncle Dave. You pick out of four. Four overs after you hear the next two of ours. You're going to pick your favorite one.
We've got two. We've got O'Marion Hampton over, Baschal Tutin over. How about Rico Doudel? Number 32 and a half rushing yards at minus 114. He had a 58% snap rate in week one. It was the clear running back number running back one over Jalen Warren and Pittsburgh. This line is a severe overreaction to his eight carries for 15 yards against Atlanta. He was a good. Let's be honest. But Seattle's running back side, 20 carries for 84 yards, averaged over four yards to carry against New England in week one. We have rain in the forecast in Foxboro. I think Pittsburgh leans on that rushing attack. I see Doudel getting 10 to 12 carries minimum. You got to do at that point is average three and a half yards per carry and we fly over. I'm going Rico Doudel over 32 and a half rushing yards. This is a severe overreaction. See it. Let's go to a guy who look great in week one. That's Bucky Irving. Now he gets a great matchup against the Cleveland Stink and Browns. What do you like? Yeah, and it's a great matchup. I think less so because I don't think the Cleveland Browns defense is necessarily terrible or at least as terrible as they looked last week.
I just think we're going to get the Tampa Bay Bucky years on the field a lot. I mean, this is a utilization play just like it was with you, Omarian Hampton. And you talked about the eight carries. That's all Bucky Irving got last week, but that was because they were down so big early. And of course, they fought their way back. But he had eight carries in the or maybe it was six carries or five carries in the first half, averaged over 5.5 yards per carry. So he was doing just fine. And then the game got out of hand, 21 to 3, 24 to 10. And the long and short of it is you're not going to see that against the Browns, especially with Tampa being at home, they're going to grind it out. And what I love about Bucky Irving and you know, I love to him preseason two is that Kenny Gainwell wasn't really stealing a lot of those carries. Now he was on the field, but he wasn't stealing a lot of those carries from Bucky Irving. And what that tells us and what that I implied when I said, hey, take the 80 to one on Bucky Irving to score the most touchdown, which of course is still an extreme long shot is that when Bucky Irving is healthy behind a good offensive line, they are going to lean into Bucky Irving coming off the loss. They're going to lean into the running games, probably going to be a little bit of rain down there in Tampa as well. I think Kenny Gainwell might get some usage, but I'm saying probably 15, 16 carries for
Bucky Irving. That's all he's going to need to get over 61 and a half Russian yards. All right, Uncle Dave, you heard four overlines here. We have a Mary and Hampton. They shall tuton, Rico Dattle and Bucky Irving of those four, which is your favorite. My favorite one of the group is going to be Bucky Irving. I think that's the one that has the best chance of hitting. He's going up against the Browns. Yeah, he's going up against the Browns. They had nine mistakels last week. Not only do I think their defense is good too, Sia. But it's their offense that's going to put their defense in some compromising positions. We saw that last week. I would imagine that's going to be the case for however long they exist. But also however long to Sean Watson's underside. I was thinking to myself as I was saying, is it really going to change when Shadour Sanders is the quarterback? Maybe a little bit. It will be a little bit better. Is it going to change when it's Dylan Gabriel or Taylor Green? I look, it's going to be a long year for Browns fans. I think that there is an opportunity here for Bucky Irving to go over that number. The number, the prop that I actually don't like is the O'Marion Hampton number.
I think that's too high. I am very worried about that Charger's Offensive Line. I'm worried about that Charger's Offensive Offensive Offensive Line in general. Here's like a sneaky note. Broncos we know last week was a disaster for them. They missed 15 tackles. The Browns, they missed nine tackles. The Las Vegas Raiders against the Miami Dolphins with not only Devon Hanna running back, but also Malik Willis who would run Scramble. They missed two tackles the entire game. This Raiders defense is better than anybody's giving them credit for. And O'Marion Hampton was at best solid last week. His fumble was embarrassing. He is not nearly as elusive as he once was. He's certainly as physical as he once was. So I think O'Marion Hampton does not get to 62 and a half yards. And see if you want to dance, I'm going to get dance. And I will take a showdown on that O'Marion Hampton line. Yeah. So before I say anything about queuing the music, David's points are extremely valid. And we'll always say on this show, like don't take all the bets. Only take the ones you like.
I will say this, this offensive line for the Chargers. Now they're going to be at home. I think this is going to be a good environment for them, good bounce back spot. But they like O'Marion Hampton was getting hit almost immediately. He was breaking tackles. The only way he was actually getting yards in that game. So we'll see if the Raiders in terms of their tackling prowess is going to exist in week two as well. Either way, there's a reason I have this play. I think the volume's going to be there for O'Marion Hampton. It's only going to take him to get one or two runs that are 10 plus for him to get this line. So Dave, what I will say to you is play the music. And there is your first showdown on the prop show in 2020. Well, the second you and I have a CEO, you and I did it on the preview show. Tampa Bay versus New Orleans. I see. I think see and I also have one. Oh, do you? Yeah, we do. I don't even remember what it was, but I don't know. I'll have to go back because I remember we did it.
I just don't remember what it was. First, I'm just going to say. I'm just having incredible flashbacks to and Dave sent me cheese steaks from Johns roast pork. Shout out to Johns roast pork in Philadelphia. Make one of the best cheese steaks. Dave being a man of his word sent four of those to me and boy, were they delicious. Hey, see, I want to ask you about Travis H. M to over two and a half receptions is plus money, according to Addison gift in the chat. He had nine targets and seven receptions last week against Detroit, but Alvin Camara is back this week. Are you are you four three receptions for HN or against? Yeah, that's interesting. Yeah, I don't really have any analysis on that outside of the fact that it could be a similar game script for the saints like they had against Detroit. Obviously, they're going into Baltimore. We'll see how much run Camara gets, but yeah, I think he said plus money, right? I think that's a pretty good look. Yeah, I like it. All right. Go ahead, Poppy. On the field for 41% of the running back snaps, I was very, very bearish.
I assumed his usage would be a lot greater after New Orleans and at him a significant contract, but the usage was very concerning in my opinion. Well, also, by the way, his rushing attempt prop I looked at it earlier and it's staggeringly low. So that goes with what it's like 10 and a half carries, which you don't expect from a starting running back, but of course, Kendrae Miller is getting in there as well. If you drafted him high in fantasy, it's just not looking like the best pick right now. For whatever reason, the saints love Kendrae Miller. I think that's an overrear. I think week one was an overreaction. Dave, you obviously watched the tape. Is the overreaction, are we overreacting on HN or should Saints fans and those of us in fantasy be concerned? I think you should be a little bit concerned. The story on Travis HN is that he's always been more of a compiler rather than someone who gets explosive. That was especially the case last year in Jacksonville in the year before that. Wasn't particularly good for him. And now with Camaro back, that's going to take some of the workload off of them, certainly in the passing game.
And Kendrae Miller does appear to be somebody that the saints want to use near the goal line that does turn HN into a trap back. He's never been that efficient of a running back. He's never been a superstar running back. So the idea that the saints were going to spend money on this big free agent acquisition in the back field, that it's just not true. Like they, yeah, they spent the money, but he's not like a game breaker guy in any sense of the work. Propy, we had a few mentions in the chat. Where is a Seikwan Barclay prop? Our guy, Japan has the over 79 and a half big cheesy ass. Where is the Seikwan Barclay prop? And guess what? The Philadelphia Eagles fan himself has one for you, but you might be surprised on this one. Go ahead, Propy. Yeah, I'm fading Seikwan Barclay in week two. I was not encouraged by the week one Sean Manion offense moving on from Kevin Patulow in this Philadelphia, for this film, my Philadelphia Eagles week one looked like a bit of a disaster to me, particularly running the football and passing frankly.
But when Seikwan had his monster 2000 yard record breaking season, and the Eagles went on obviously to win the Super Bowl on his back or shoulders, Seikwan Barclay was frequently getting to the second level. He had dominant offensive line play, guards that could really pull, and Seikwan was getting to the second level untouched frequently. That was not the case in week one versus a commander's team who definitely look a little bit better defensively. It looks like their rush, run defense has improved compared to last year, but outside of one 43 yard run, Seikwan just was completely bottled up by this commander's defense. And then on top of that, the Eagles lost Landon Dickerson, a three time pro bowl or a linchpin of their interior offensive line. And that spells disaster in my opinion when you're facing the Tennessee Titans. No, the Titans aren't a great football team.
But the teeth of the defense is with their interior defenders. Jeffrey Simmons being one of the best interior disruptors in the NFL, Jonathan Franklin Myers, an above average starter as well. So missing an interior guard when you already had very questionable offensive line depth, relying on 36 year old Lane Johnson, I think Tennessee's run defense is a little bit underrated. If you look at the splits with them without Simmons, not just last year, since Simmons has stepped foot in the NFL, they have been a very good run defense when Simmons is healthy and active and on the field. So I think we could see the Eagles have a lot of problems in the game. I like the under on the whole game total. It's already a very low total, south of 40 points. But I think we're going to see the Eagles continue to struggle to run the football. And I think Tennessee is going to be able to keep Sequan Barkley in check.
I'm also choosing to attack the rushing and receiving line here, one characteristic throughout Jalen Hertz's career. He does not like checking down to his running backs, whether that's a byproduct of him feeling pressure and running. But he has never targeted running backs. Sequan Barkley has never really possessed a significant or even an average target share in that offense. So I don't think he's going to catch many passes. And I think Tennessee is going to be able to control the line of scrimmage. And while the Eagles might have a lot of rushing attempts, I think they're going to be ineffective on the ground. And I just was not impressed with Sequan Barkley in week one was not impressed with the offense. As a whole was not impressed with the play calling either. And I think this matchup is more difficult than it may lend itself or appear at first glance. Uncle Dave, we have a couple from Mark Rubaker in the chat. Bucky Irving, we talked about him over 60 and a half rush. Did you talk about that? But O'Marion Hampton, over 10 and a half receiving yards.
Now, I know you and Cia have a rushing total bet. How do you feel about that over 10 and a half receiving? I wouldn't touch that one either, just because I've learned the hard way through many, many years, not to touch running back receiving props. Yeah, to say away, I would say away. How about Breast Hall over 63 and a half rushing yards? I'd buy into that one a little bit because we agree that this packers defense is Swiss cheese or maybe it's cheddar cheese. It doesn't really matter, but it's got holes in it and it's nasty. And if you leave it out too long, it's going to smell bad and Breast Hall will get opportunities. Go ahead, Propy. I like that Breast Hall look quite a bit. I was encouraged by the week one performance. I thought Gina Smith under center while he's obviously not an above average starter. Compared to what the Jets have had a quarterback, basically while Breast Hall has been a member of that team, that's the most functional quarterback. They've had under center in a while. I thought Breast Hall looked healthy, explosive. The usage was also very encouraging.
So the volume should be there. And I think it's a decent matchup for him as well. I was not impressed with this packers defense. So I think that's a game that's going to be competitive. I believe it has a high total of not mistaken as well. I do have four and a half for somewhere in that ballpark. Yeah. And I do think Breast Hall can be successful here. See the last one and running backs here, our guide drew in the chats. As Beeson Robinson, look what the panthers gave up 59 to the Bears. I mean, Deandre Swift was running free. So Beeson's totals are 79 and a half rushing. 42 and a half receiving are the over combined is 129 and a half. Which one would you play? The one that I looked at earlier in the week, because I did look at this was Beeson Robinson combined. It was, by the way, 132 and a half. Now that Cooper Rush has been ruled in, we've got a situation where this line's gone down because we know that the defense is just going to key in on Beeson Robinson. I still like the combined over. But to be honest with you, I'm not willing to bet it. Propy. Cooper Rush was so dreadful under center in week one.
It's absolutely ineffective. So Beeson, obviously extremely impressive. But yeah, his numbers were as bad as any starter has been in the NFL and the underlying metrics as well. We're just absolutely terrible for Beeson. But I do expect Beeson to be obviously the clear focal point of the games and exceptional receiver out of the backfield as well. He was the only one that Cooper Rush had any type of success throwing the football too. So if I were to take one, it would be the combination line. My guy in Japan in the chat, dropping some knowledge, Matt LaFlure, seven to know against the spread in week two in his career. I know Propy loves stats like that. Well, he doesn't, but I do. So yeah, Packer's minus three and a half. I have winning by four. So there you go. Great. I know. Propy, I know how you feel about that. But hey, Uncle Dave, I got one for you. A quarterback prop. How about Baker Mayfield? We got a revenge spot over two hundred nine and a half passing yards against the team that dumped him.
And we all want to get revenge. Somebody get dumped. I mean, this happens to me frequently and dating and want to kind of show him, hey, I've moved on. I've done. Here we go. Anyways, Baker Mayfield. Listen, I think I underestimated how terrible the Browns were on defense. I thought they'd be serviceable despite trading away miles. Garrett. Yeah, didn't look that way against Jacksonville. So Trevor Lawrence had two hundred and forty five yards and only twenty three attempts last week. I think that was a Dave win. I think Dave had under some of his passing. Please, one. Complicings. There you go. Well, twenty three attempts. He didn't have to do much there. He had the third most yards per attempt. The highest pass rating and the highest passing success rate in a revenge game, Dave. I think Baker Mayfield goes for two twenty five plus. But I know you like Bucky Irving. So you with me on Baker, are you against me? Actually, I think I like this one more than the Bucky Irving one, to be honest with you. This would be I would rate this a one unit play for UEC. How about this last week? He went up against Cincinnati. That's certainly an improved defense. He completed twenty three of twenty eight passes. He had two hundred and sixteen yards.
He coughed up the football three times in the game on fumbles. And as long as he holds on to the ball and he doesn't get sacked as much, which I think I'll be the case this week, he should be able to have more pass attempts and more yardage as a result. I think this number is great. I love this over. Love this look. And see, we saved the best for last with quarterback pro. Well, it's not the last prop. The last two props are in the same game and you are a commanders fan. So talk about Jaden Daniels. Yeah, I'm a commander fan who doesn't usually take commanders props one way or the other, but I can't ignore this one. I think this is going to be a really fun game. I think it's going to be a really fun game environment. I think both defenses are going to have a hard time getting off the field. And I also think Washington's going to operate from a negative game script at points in this game, particularly at the end, just like last week. And that all lends itself to Jaden Daniels over nineteen and half completions. We talked about Dallas, maybe not getting off the field as much as they're going to want to. That's going to extend drives. And I think Jaden Daniels is going to pepper the short area. And when we have a negative game script for the Washington commanders, we saw that against
the Eagles. They were competitive most of that game. But when Washington was forced to pass, we saw Jaden Daniels really shine nine four eleven, two touchdowns in the fourth quarter. And he wasn't necessarily throwing the ball down the field. He was just throwing these little quick slant routes or outs to Stefan Diggs and Tonya Williams, not so much Terry McClure. I think that's what we're going to see in terms of Washington moving the chains here. So nineteen and half completions, listen, you can run the ball on Dallas too. But I think really what Washington's going to need to do at points in this game is past the ball. And I know Jaden Daniels didn't look super efficient last week, but he started to get there. He also had a lot of wide receiver drops early in that game. And the bottom line is in a neutral or negative game script. I think he's going to have to throw the ball. He'll get to twenty. Let's take the over. Go ahead, Propy. Dallas defense also extremely vulnerable Jackson Darkhead tremendous success in that game. I like Jaden Daniels props across the board personally. So I really do like this look a lot from Sia. Also, I would offer in addition to Dallas defense not being very good.
They're without their starting safety Malik Koker as well. So this is a really ripe matchup for Washington's passing attack. Dave, last week you gave out four passing props and big cheeses play the day on Sunday is Bo Nick's over thirty three and a half pass attempts. Are you buying that or are you selling that one? I'd be nervous about that one. I do think we see a very different look from this Broncos offense because what they did against Kansas City did not work. I think they're going to try and run the ball a little bit more and take some pressure off of Bo Nick's, but really what they need to do is get that offensive line taken care of. Between the idea that they will run the ball more and Jacksonville's pass rush is no joke. They're going to come after Bonaix the exact same way Kansas City's did. I would lean under, but I don't feel so strongly about it that I would put even a fraction of a unit on it. Yeah. Foods 4016 had earlier in the chat. He says Bonaix come back week over two hundred and twenty and a half pass yards, ladder to
two seventy five and three hundred. I mean, whatever cool aid he's drinking. I'm not sure that's the latter spot. We have much better ones that Justin Jefferson one that Prophe gave earlier is a much better ladder play in my opinion than that one. Hey, see, I want to ask you about quarterback rushing touchdowns. I think everybody's kind of inspired by Josh Allen last night getting a couple of them. Bob Howard earlier asked Drake May or Justin Herbert for a rushing touchdown. Is there one you want to another name that you might want to throw in there? Not really. I mean, I don't bet. I don't usually bet anytime touchdowns, particularly with quarterbacks. If you're going to see a quarterback for me, it's going to be completions and attempts, maybe yards that or over touchdowns, stuff like that. If between those two guys though, I think it would be Drake May who's going to pull the ball down, not trust his judgment, like he should not do and then just run it in that. I think Drake may anytime touchdown is fine, I guess. And the final prop I'm going to give on the show today is of course a kicker prop because that's what we do on this show branded. Aubrey over eight and a half kicker points at plus one ten.
So Prophe, I know you're going to love this. In the last two seasons, Aubrey's kicking points against the commanders are 9, 13, 14 and 12 in those four games. It's had 15 field goal attempts against Dan Quinn's teams. Over the last two years, 89 field goal attempts for Brandon Aubrey and he didn't get one in week one. Expect that Dallas offensive explosion. I'm going to put this in my George Pickens Parallel. We're throwing Pickens over receiving yards and Brandon Aubrey over eight and a half kicking points at plus one ten. Here is your kicker prop of the week. Prophe, I knew you'd be proud of me for referencing past seasons which as you have told me have no relevance. I'm surprised you didn't bring up the great statistic that Aubrey has never missed a kick on days that don't start with S and T. He's never missed a kick on those days. So yeah, just incredible, incredible conviction and backing stats there, you see. Uncle Dave, you as a kicker as kicker prop.
So you yelled at me the other year. I gave out like a minus 160. So you said you can never do that again and it lost. I'm given a plus one ten for Brandon Aubrey who has a great history against Dan Quinn's teams. Are you on board? No, but I think it's better to take a kicker prop at plus money with a kicker who can nail long range field goals than whoever you picked back then at minus 160. Goodness gracious. I don't know what you were thinking back then. And listen, we all are. And I used to once upon a time take kicker props. I think prop remembers those days from way back when. And that was when I had a little bit more information about how many field goal attempts teams were seeing against them. And certainly how frequently coaches would say, okay, let's kick it. And back then, coaches were willing to take field goals a lot more than they are now. And that's really the number one reason why I think any kicker prop is pretty dangerous. EC is because a lot of these coaches in the NFL, they are generally conservative head coaches.
But when it comes to fourth down decisions, they usually want to go for it. And they don't want to kick and take the three points. And that always is something in the back of my mind with any type of kicker prop. Fair enough. Joe says I'm a packer fan. I have questionable knowledge. Okay. I mean, that's debatable. And Steve is in the chat. He wants to know, uh, see a Ken Walker two touchdowns, would you sprinkle something there against the cold sun Sunday night? Oh, uh, no, not really. I mean, I just said I don't bet a lot of any time touchdowns. You're probably not going to be able to convince me to get to a two touchdown game. But if you were going to pick a guy, I guess it would be Ken Walker, but that game's on the road, right? Oh, no, that's a game city. And there's some rain there too. Yeah. It's a no for me, but I get it. I'm happy. Taking a really good look at Rishi Rice. I know we're down on him after that week one performance, but I really believe that was largely, you know, Patrick Mahomes coming off of the injury, maybe not being quite a hundred
percent. Rishi Rice, as well. I think they ramped things up a little bit more in week two. And I'm talking about the Kansas City passing attack. Travis Kelsey look completely washed me. Rishi Rice, I still think, is not washed, frankly. And this matchup indeed just gave up a gazillion yards, Tuesday flowers. That's who Rishi Rice is going to be predominantly matched up again. So this looks like a very good matchup. And we're getting a significant discount on Rishi Rice here. So that's someone I've got my eye on very closely waiting to see how the market reacts leading up to kick off. What is the discount? He's currently fluctuating between 49 and a half and 51 and a half. Okay. That's tough. Okay. Fair enough. Uncle Dave, we had a question earlier in the chat. I want to ask the penalty flag. Can you explain who autographed that behind you in your, in your, yeah. Do you guys remember the referee, Johnny Greer?
Yeah. No. This is way back. Oh yeah. Uh huh. Is that flagged for taking it down here? I'll give it, I'll, I'll, let me go get it. I'll give it to everybody. But yeah. It's Johnny Greer who was my favorite referee back in the day. I had a friend who worked in the, uh, in the NFL league office. And Johnny was a part of the league office at the end of his career when he stopped referee in games and he signed a flag for me. That's awesome. See there. There's a Dave story. Yeah. Go ahead, see. I'm sorry. Speaking of flags, the Travis Kelsey wash thing that probably mentioned, you know, remember that long pass he got on, uh, on that, on the primetime game. Did, did anybody, am I the only one that saw the blatant hold by the rookie left tackle? Oh, I'm gonna go. I mean, like what are we still doing this for Kansas City? By the way, Patrick Behoem's game manager now. Go ahead, Robbie. He looked, I mean, Kelsey was making mistakes all across the field. Him and, uh, the homes were not on the same page whatsoever. He was taking plays off left and right is conditioning, looked awful.
So, uh, I was really, really, uh, unimpressed with Travis Kelsey, certainly a fade candidate in my opinion. And with the chat, agree that EC looks like a young ed Hockeyley. Oh, only from the neck down. Um, with, with Kelsey, I think there's really, I don't have those guns. I think there's really only one explanation. And that's, this is what happens when you get married. Yeah. Yeah. Good point. Stay single forever. Thanks. That's, that's what I try to tell myself not to do. That is backed by popular demand. The recap screen is here and we get to decide which picks of ours that we love of everybody else. So let me read them first. We'll go from there. Propies on Matthew Golden over three and a half receptions minus 149, Tramock bride over 59 and a half receiving yards minus 115, Justin Jefferson over 66 or 76 and a half receiving yards minus 115 for two units. And he gave that out earlier on sportsline.com. If you are a subscriber, you saw that earlier this week. They, Juan Barkley under four 98 and a half rushing plus receiving yards and minus 115
and Bay-Shal Tutton over 49 and a half rushing yards at minus 114. See that is on George Pickens over 62 and a half receiving yards minus 114. O'Marion Hampton over 62 and a half rushing yards at minus 114. Jaden Daniels over 19 and a half completions at minus 114 and Bucky Irving over 61 and a half rushing yards at minus 112. I am on Jacobi Myers over 36 and a half receiving yards minus 114. Team odds for Rico Dattle over 32 and a half rushing yards. Baker Mayfield over 209 and a half passing yards at minus 113 and finally a plus money prop. I am saving you guys with a plus money kicker prop. Well, maybe something like that. Brandon Aubrey over 8 and a half kicking points at plus 110. Propie, what is your favorite prop not of yours on the board this week? Looking at this recap here, we missed Dave's unders apparently because we are taking a lot of overs here. Yeah, I took one under and that is what Marian Hampton. I took an under as well but just one.
I will have more under as the season progresses. But I really like see his look on Bucky Irving. I also like the Jaden Daniels look quite a bit. So besides my own props, Jaden Daniels and Bucky Irving, those two props will be my pick. See ya. Okay, a couple things here. Larry is in the chat. He says he is glad he missed the Matthew Golden segment. Also for people who are new to this show, they are stopping in. Just know that there is a podcast version of the early edge in your podcast feed Apple Spotify wherever you get your podcast and make sure you subscribe to this channel. Sorry, you see I got to do that. The early edge show is in me all the time. Okay, so my favorite play is Matthew Golden over three and half receptions. It's juicy. I will say this about Matthew Golden and Christian Watson. If week to week, you know, this is contingent upon whether and match up to some degree. If week to week, you decided to ladder both and I'm talking yards here, but receptions to some degree. But yards on Matthew Golden and Christian Watson every week to again, somewhat depending on the match up, I think you're going to cash one of those every week. I don't want to forget about Tucker Kraft. He's going to step up at times. I don't want to forget about Jaden Reed. He's going to be a thorn in our side too.
But I think golden and Watson are going to be the guys in what's going to be a passing offense all year long. Uncle Dave, your favorite prop here. We know it's not Omerian Hampton. What is it? My favorite prop and I could go the prop route and say, well, I like one from each of you and then pick one from each of you. But feet to the fire, I can only pick one. I'm going to take Baker Mayfield over 209 yards. Thank you. I think that that's probably the strongest prop that I like out of all the ugly, disgusting overs that are on our screen right now. I would also like to add an amendment to the showdown that I've got with Sia on top of the standard sports line showdown wager. I would like to offer you this, Sia. If Omerian Hampton goes under, you're going to show up wearing a jacket like I usually wear here on the take the point show. If Omerian Hampton somehow, some way finds 63 or more yards, you will see me here next week. No jacket, but a buttoned up polo on the show.
Do I have to wear the jacket the whole show or can it be like? The whole show. Do I have a jacket? That is the guy. I will agree. I actually got a look to see if I have something like that. I'm guessing I do. So yeah, I'm in. I'm in on that. All right. Good. So that will be on top of what we've got going on. And looking for that jacket, I do not want to wear a polo with all my buttons. Oh. There's the ad hoccule. There's you. Thank you. That's right. From 1987. His arms are big. That's pretty. Yeah. I get it. That's a high school from like the the 80s, maybe 1990. Yeah. I was like, 80s, 80s. I was like, what a gym was. Right. You know, ad hoccule was Nairah's own. It got property. But he never skipped the gym like I did today. So you know, ad hoccule is an attorney as well. He was. That's correct. He's an official and an attorney. Yeah. There it is. He's a guy. Oh, my pick. George Pickens. George Pickens would be one and Justin Jefferson would be two. If I were to rank my, yeah, I picked one from both of you.
I probably was just criticizing that property. All right. But George Pickens would be my play. But property, I love that. Two unit play with three propiisms. How can I go against that? I mean, that's that's the guy's one awesome show. Just real quick. I sorry. You see, I wanted to jump in there before you started up again. He gave the play out on the show. He gave it on sports line earlier at five yards shorter. So I just, I cannot stress that enough. He still believes in the play. Obviously he gave you all the reasoning. But if you're a sports line member, you're getting that obviously at a much better number. Shout out sportsline.com slash joint. Plus the discord is, I mean, valuable knowledge. You pick a sport. See is in there. Propies in there. I mean, A-max is all over baseball. Larry's all over it. Proppet guy, Tom Cassali, every now and then I'll make an appearance. McClure's in there. I mean, it's unbelievable. And Danny Brasco, I'm missing a lot of the experts that are in there. It's unbelievable. The knowledge that you can get RJ. RJ's dropping a bunch of stuff in there throughout the week. Go ahead, Propi. Yeah.
RJ's in there. I'm going to say to the sports line members who share information with each other as a treason trove of knowledge in there. So really sharp guys. So I love the sports line discord. I was hanging out in from what's the duration of the Thursday night football last night for Lions versus the Bills. Awesome. There you go. See, it pays to be a sports line subscriber. You guys in the chat were absolutely awesome today on fire. So glad to be back on this show. So glad to have this show back for Ben behind the scenes. Awesome job as always. For Cia, Propi and Uncle Dave, I am EC. And as I always like to say, let's hit it big. Let's hit it big. Good luck. College football season is Modelo season. There's nothing quite like a college football Saturday. The fight songs, the rivalries, the traditions passed out from one generation of fans to the next. And of course, they're settling in for a full day of football with Chris Modelo because
Saturdays are for the gridiron and surveys. College football is built on tradition and no one knows tradition like Modelo from the fanquakes that shake the stadium to the rivalry trophies that mean everything year after year. These traditions are what makes Saturday special. So if you're listening to this, consider it your sign. Grab a Chris Modelo, settle in and enjoy a full day of college football. Because it's just not game day, it's tradition. And those who keep college football traditions alive deserve a Modelo. Modelo is the official beer sponsor of the college football playoff.
